  Try to uninstall the fomr Catalyst Control Center and driver within programs and have section of the control panel. Once you have done this, restart your computer and try to reinstall it

  Have a look at the last 3 letters of the video you've imported to Windows Live Movie maker (WLMM).
  That the last 3 letters represent the format of the video file. If the format is NOT supported by WLMM, he won't play it.

  Here are the formats supported by WLMM:
  Video files: .asf, .avi, .dvr-ms, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, and .wmv

  If your video file format is not on the list above, google for a FREE video converter and it allows to convert your video file.
  The best format to convert is WMV. The most reliable and foo-proof format.

  I've been away from home - where I HSI and it works very well - for a few months, I plugged to the network sporadically awireless (sometimes just bad signal), with a lot of frustration.  A few days ago, I went to a place where I could connect to a hard (secure) wireless network and enjoyed the smooth navigation for about an hour.  Later when I tried to connect to the smaller network, unsecure, I couldn't open my network and sharing Center. Whether from the drawer or the Control Panel, a screen opens displaying nothing, but the circle of rotation.  The TASK MANAGER IS REQUIRED to CLOSE THE PAGE - it will not answer the close box. TM shows the centre network and sharing as 'running', although there is no indication on the screen, except the title and the circle of rotation.

  My laptop is a dv6t Pavilion with Windows 7 (64-bit)

  All the other files in the Panel seem to open and operate normally.

  I understand the network and sharing Center will not be open. I will do my best to help you! If please launch and center network and sharing, and wait for him so that he can provide an error.   You will probably need to open port 3389 on your router so that it maps on the computer that is tuned to the connections of the DRC. It seems that you did all the other steps, but your router can prevent the connection to go anywhere. Here's a detailed guide to configure your router for DRC that can provide some guidance.
