windows Upgrade Advisor 7 just sits on my desk. spinning. Does this mean that my system is not compatible?

I downloaded the windows 7 Advisor. I clicked on start check and I let it run for 2 days and it is there turn backwards without any result. even saying that my system in any compatable would be better.

This means there is a problem with the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor Program is not that your system is necessarily incomaptible. Normally once the complete Advisor tool it will present a summary of the software & hardware on your system that is compatible or incompatible with Windows 7.

As you use XP, the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor requres that you have XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) is installed and you have .NET Framework 2.0 or higher. You have these?

  • You want to upgrade Windows Vista to Windows 7 Professional. I ran the Windows Upgrade Advisor, and he told me that I can upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium and Ultimate. Why not professional?

I want to install Windows 7 Professional.  I ran the Windows Upgrade Advisor, and he told me that I can upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium and Ultimate. Why not professional? Or is this correct?

You can still install Windows 7 Pro, but it requires a custom installation. This will remove all your programs (you will need to reinstall them), but you can save your files and settings to external storage before doing so.

If you want to make a place in the upgrade you will need Home Premium or Ultimate.

What Upgrade Options are available for Windows 7?
If you are running Windows Vista , in some cases you can proceed directly to Windows 7, and in other cases, you must perform a custom installation. The following table shows what editions of Windows Vista can be upgraded to Windows 7.

    Windows Vista Home Basic

Windows 7 Home Premium, Windows 7 Ultimate

    Windows Vista Edition Home Premium

Windows 7 Home Premium, Windows 7 Ultimate

  • FixIt center operating system is not compatible Windows and update does not work due to 8007066

I have an Asus Essentio with Windows 7 Professional. Although the computer was working ok, I installed the FIX It Professional [I bought it to install on my computer to girls] for the interview. Since then, I had several problems with slow MSN Mail and slow performance. I uninstalled the product and to restore the computer to the date of installation of the software. Here are some of the problems I have:

When you try to run Microsoft difficulty It Center I get a message "the operating system is not compatible and must be XP or newer" which it obviously. I've used this program in the past without any problems and actually have a user account, but it still does not work.

Trying to access Microsoft support told me that the software is not "enabled" even though it says it's under System properties, and the product number is not saved, even if it has been for more than 8 months.

Whenever I click on the MSN butterfly, a security message wonder if Explorer is allowed to make changes to my computer. Not a big deal, but remember why nobody liked Vista and I would like to get rid of him.

A Windows Update does not work due the 8007066f, who doesn't have a solution, but updated logo keeps interrupting my work.

    Thanks for any help.

I suggest an Inplace upgrade to fix your computer.

The upgrade in place is a tool to fix the system. Thanks to the special upgrade process, we will be able to repair the system. The upgrade in place will not affect the settings like photos, movies, documents, etc. that are saved on the computer. Although this operation will not remove or modify the files and installed programs, I suggest always that you back up important files before you do. In addition, you may need to reinstall the device drivers after this operation.

The detailed steps are included as below:

    On-site upgrade
    ====================
1 log on to the system first.
    2. Insert the Windows 7 DVD in the DVD drive of the computer.
    3. Click Start and select computer.
    4. find the "setup.exe" file in the DVD-ROM and double-click it.

    5. click on install now.

    6. When you are prompted to enter the product key, please click Next directly without entering any key. The installation wizard will prompt and ask if you confirm to install Windows 7 without the key and choose please confirm.

    7. When you get to the screen ' which type of installation you want', click upgrade to upgrade the Windows 7 system files.

Note: When running the upgrade on the spot, the system will restart automatically (several times) to merge the files and programs, please leave the computer alone and does not configure it until the 'upgrade on the spot"finished. The system should start Windows 7, once it is upgraded. Once the computer is running "upgrade on the spot", you can go and leave the computer and it completes automatically.

  • Google will have mobile Web sites - this means that you have to do a mobile version - or you can get by with a destop version that is mobile-friendly?

Now when google will have mobile Web sites - this means that you have to do a mobile version - or can get by with a destop version that is mobile-friendly?

Now I don't mean only websites created with Muse, but all pages that are for example made with WordPress, Joomla, etc.

Almost all Web sites, that I created with Muse, I made a mobile version too - but I need two of them to mobile versions. It takes time to do. I was talking with a programmer today and he said that I had misunderstood,- and he said: "what Google thinks with mobile-friendly is not that you necessarily do a mobile version - but just a version of office that is mobile-friendly. Is this true?

If it is true, I don't mind to make mobile versions of the 2 other desktop versions. Well?

Simply enter in this tool, and it will tell you if it's their instructions.

It is unlikely that a desktop version of Muse will be mobile friendly. If you code a Bootstrap site or some other sensitive framework, you can get away with a single version. Muse, you will need to make two in almost all cases. But anyway that the tool will tell you if it is up to their standards or not. If she says Yes, then you are fine. Otherwise you will need a mobile version.

  • Running game - this version of the file is not compatible with the version of Windows you are using. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need a x 86 (32 bit) or an x 64 (64-bit) version of the program

I tried to run the program in question (Castle of the winds) in each mode of compatibility that is on the list and it is giving me this error message every time. Other people have managed to get the program to work, so I don't know, it does not work on Windows 7, but I can't make it work for me.
