Windows Vista asks repeatedly updated Service Pack

I just installed windows vista and in the updates, it continues to update me service Pack1, I did ask this over and over again and always wants me to update it more, why is that, I want to install service pack 2 and its me asking to install service pack 1 and is again now im

Run the System File Checker

Start > type CMD

Right click on CMD and select run as administrator

Type Sfc/scannow

Press enter

Note: There is a space between sfc and / scannow

You will need to have your drive Windows recovery on hand in case there are corrupt or missing files.  SFC will ask you the disc in order to replace these files.

If SFC cannot repair the files, you will need to reinstall Windows Vista

Hello & thanks to anyone who reads this message & can help.

My internet provider tech support guy said, maybe I had a virus (that I know that I don't have), or maybe something wrong with my settings for windows mail or something is wrong with windows or the program & contact line of microsoft support.

Microsoft technical support said they cannot help me because I have an OEM product key & if I wanted to get help through windows I had to pay money to get help or contact with this site I am trying now.

    Hello

As Vista is preinstalled on your computer (OEM license), Microsoft charges you for support if you use them. They had good reason to send you to the Microsoft answers Forums

The way you must have Windows Mail put in place is to use the e-mail address and other parameters as your ISP (Internet Service Provider) gives you; not an e-mail address that you want to use.

They are the ones that provide all the information for you.

You need them: parameters Username, Password, mailserver and mail out Servier

Here is the information from Microsoft on how to set up Windows Mail:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/Windows-mail-setting-up-an-account-from-start-to-finish

You don't say which is your Internet access provider.

  • I have the Windows Vista (TM) Home Premium Service Pack 2 operating system

My problem is, the operating system is already installed on my computer, but I do not have the disk?

I have the key product etc....
How to make a copy of the operating system only?  So if my computer crashes and I can not load anything, I want to be able to load with my operating drive.  How can I do this?  My hard drive starts to disappear.
    Step by step guide.

If you have an OEM version of the operating system of Windows pre-installed, you will need to contact the manufacturer of your computer and request a set of recovery disks.

Note: The manufacturer was required to provide a way to reinstall Windows. If it is not a set of disks with the computer, there will be a hidden restore partition (do not be confused with the system restore), you would use to return the computer to the State of the OOBE (Out of Box Experience).

Usually, just by pressing F11 continuously during the computer startup to display a boot menu offering the option you need.

I see that others have the same problem as me, but there is no way to comment (that I can see) on the thread I've read.  After a lot of problems, I did a clean install of VISTA Home Premium (came with my Dell PC) and when I installed service pk2, all of the same problems that led me to do a clean install appeared.  I can't the computer to recognize and install the keyboard and the mouse of the blue tooth. (Don't tell me to contact the manufacturer, because they came w / the computer and say "Dell" on them!)  He told me that the enumerator does not work.  Then I launched Quicken, and when I tried to save a registry check for print, he gave me the msg "Quicken launcher has stopped working".  He was a key reason I did a clean install.  The only improvement is that I can at least open Quicken, which he would not let me do before.  How to uninstall service pack 2?
