I am trying to download a free software an official link from Microsoft, it is called Visual Web Developer 2010 Express. I had a failure of extraction. I thought the problem was that I did not have a Service Pack 2 update, but I actually got it, so I do not understand what is lacking. I have a Windows Vista Home Premium edition installed on my PC. How can I download the app?

I bought Windows Vista Home Premium and got a free upgrade to Windows 7, which I have installed on Computer1. Can I install Vista on a second computer computer2 and still be legal?
Is same question with versions of Microsoft office, if I have multiple versions allowed to install an earlier version on a second computer and stay legal?
No, unfortunately not, when you upgraded to Windows 7 indeed renounce you your right to use Vista. But keep the product key and Vista media where you need to perform a clean installation of Windows 7 again.
For MS Office (according to license as some allow multiple installations) If this older version is not in use you can install it on this computer second no questioned asked.
Never be afraid to ask. This forum has some of the best people in the world to help.

I have a HP Pavilion Windows Vista Home Premium, and the D: drive is full.
I have a HP Pavilion Windows Vista Home Premium, and the D: drive is full. I don't understand how he got that way... but... I've never used windows to the top, however I do back up with my Norton Security. I'm not a COMPUTER guru AT ALL and am very confused as to what must be saved for me to do a system restore. I just made a backup on a 16 GB usb flash drive, which included photos, documents, email, contacts and music. But what of my registry or my drivers I've updated on the latest updates of 2 years and windows?
So in plain English for the layperson to the computer, lol, can someone tell me...
1. where should I back up to? (windows, norton?)
2. what should I back up? EXACTLY, please. lol (I have hundreds of games, I don't want to back to the top if possible)
3 and... HOW MUCH ALCOHOL SHOULD I HAVE AVAILABLE WHILE TRYING THIS. LOL just kidding. Laughing out loud
Hello
Updates must be installed in a certain order and no Service Pack must be installed unless and until it is offered through Windows Update.
However, try these options:
Step 1: You can not reuse what already automatically downloaded and installed. You can however save updates and install them manually if you wish.
Step 2: You can create a system image on the computer. A system image is an exact copy of a disc. By default, a system image includes the drives required for Windows to run. In addition, it includes Windows and your system settings, programs and files. You can use a system image to restore the contents of your computer if your hard drive or computer ever stops working.

I have Windows Vista Home Premium and I lost my product key!
I have Windows Vista Home Premium and I lost my case with the product key to this topic! I really need help! Can someone help me?
If the operating system is running - use Belarc Advisor to retrieve the key. www.Belarc.com
If the OS is always installed, but inaccessible, you can still be able to recover, depending on what is causing the problem - come back with details.
If you have reformatted, about maybe possible get the key - but unlikely.
If the HD is dead, or you have crushed the old installation, then you are out of luck.

If I install windows vista Home premium genuine in my laptop after how I can to update or update 64-bit of Windows Vista Home premium 32 bit
Hello
You are unable to update or upgrade Vista 32 bit to 64 bit of Vista.
32-bit to 64-bit, or 64 bit to 32 bit is done by a new installation using a full version of the operating system.
32-bit and 64-bit are different operating systems.

To analyze and solve problems for Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag (download and save to the desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 ) tool
Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the button continue, which will produce the report.
To copy the report in your response, click the button copy in the tool (ignore the error at this stage), and then paste (using r-click and paste or Ctrl + V) in your response. -
I am running Windows Vista Home Premium and want to know if I can upgrade to Windows 7 using Windows 7 anytime upgrade [starter to home premium]
original title: Windows UpdateI am running Windows Vista Home Premium and want to know if I can upgrade to Windows 7 using Windows 7 anytime upgrade
No, it will not work.
Windows 7 anytime upgrade: you have Vista or XP currently installed?
If the product you have Windows 7 'Anytime Upgrade' does not allow to move from XP/Vista to Windows 7. You can buy the product at retail of Windows 7 Upgrade not the ' Anytime Upgrade '.
Windows 7 'Anytime Upgrade' is for moving from one version of Windows 7 to a higher version, such as Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional.
