Windows Vista Home Premium and try to install Adobe Flash Player 11

Windows Vista Home Premium and try to install Adobe Flash Player 11 to play video news/sport.  Cannot install - can be found in the list of prorgams but no size data indicated so it does not seem to have downloaded?  Any suggestions?  Running Winows Vista on ACER 5735 laptop.

Download and run the Flash Player uninstaller program.

http://helpx.Adobe.com/Flash-Player/KB/uninstall-Flash-Player-Windows.html

Then download and install Flash Player; After unchecking installing Chrome and Google toolbar option:
