Windows Vista: Is possible to edit previously saved searches?
I ' v has created a new search and saved in the folder 'research' (the default location). Now: it is possible, once created and saved, to change this research? Why?
Hi Carlos_D_Mora,
The ability to edit a previously saved search is not available. However, you can add additional filters to a search folder and then save it by opening the folder and make the appropriate changes.
You can also ask your question in the MSDN Windows Search forums for more information on editing saved searches:

Where can I download a. ISO image of Windows Vista 32-bit (full edition)?
Hi all
I have a real installation of Windows Vista 32 bit Ultimate edition.
I would like to install my copy of Windows in a virtual machine, but this usually requires a new PRODUCT KEY get updates etc.
In an attempt to solve a problem in the host machine, I want to do it on a temporary basis with a "clean to a virtual machine installation.
I know how to recover my product key, even though I have lost my disk of Vista that I bought.
Download an .iso image of Vista 32 bit Ultimate from Digital River or at all Please?
Failing the above all I can do is try to hunt for my original disk and reinstall and lose all my programs installed.
The other option is to back UP everything on a temporary basis, try what I try
and then recover all if my experience isn't a success.Original title: Microsoft Virtual PC question regarding the installation of Vista.
Hello
There is no available from Microsoft Vista ISO file download.
You can borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.
Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.
And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs
Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:
"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '
http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html
And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.
And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

Windows Vista key for different edition is installed, how to fix?
I have an Acer PC with his side a certificate for Windows Vista Business. However, Windows Vista Home Premium has been installed on it. It is now demanding activation, indicating that previously the typical product key is not valid and not accepting is not the Vista Business product key.
Is it possible (non-fissuration) I can change the installed Windows Vista Business edition so it will accept the key, without having to do a reinstall complete? Keeping in mind I can't even log.
Otherwise, a CD to install Windows Vista normal company accepts OEM Acer product key or I will have to try to find the disc from Acer?
Colin - I think the connection problem because the system is RTM, rather than SP2 - the RTM will feature Mode of Redcued heavily neutered if not authentic, that allows only access via a browser.
It should be possible to rearm the machine to make it functional again for purposes of data recovery...
The openg screen, it will offer to open a browser - if your default browser is IE do the following (it won't work in Chrome or Firefox - later)
Open a window of IE and in the address bar, type C:\Windows\System32 and press the Enter key - IE should open the folder.
Look down the list of files until you find CMD.exe (or just CMD)
Right-click on the file and select run as administrator
In the command prompt window, type the following command
CSCRIPT SLMGR. VBS /REARM
and press the Enter key - after a few seconds, you should get a 'success' message, as well as a request to restart - are, and you should have another 30 days to resolve your problem.
If your default browser is not IE, then start using safe and open IE, in Internet Options, change the default for IE browser, then restart in normal mode and proceed as above.

Upgrades of the OS (as opposed to updates) must be paid for - you must purchase the upgrade.
Your system may well not run Vista or Win 7 - and MS is no longer selling Vista.
To check the compatibility with Win 7, download, install and run the U [grade counselor.

Windows Vista 'Mission Possible '?
You have a question for you all, that my daughter has a Lenovo Y510, who lost a sector before starting and when it fell at this time, it still worked and then he did a 349 meg update now constantly crashing, does borrow friends Vista CD and re - install a defective boot sector or does need to wait the Lenovo disk is sent to him. I read on the recovery disk that you can download from neosmart but I have to say that of course, they make you work for him and frankly if someone wanted to borrow my laptop and need to download a burner to run to download the torrent file I'd have my doubts if you know what I mean. My daughters problem is she has two address due to his Bachelor's degree in education at Queens and four hours away and has no clue as to where is the recovery disk, I ordered a copy of the diskette of Lenovo but that was Tuesday morning and ended up talking with a friend in the Philippines which seems to have had a very hard time to understand Vista or send it to my daughter Kingston rather then my usual billing address. I'll probably end up with her Monday, lol in any case while I was on the site of neosmart they said that any Vista CD would work to make the cycle of repair of the fixation of the o/s are correct? Thank you very much for your time and trouble. I realize that she will need a full CD of Vista to reinstall the operating system, if that's what this question is to go and knowing me he's going! Lenovo as the largest manufacturers of the tour should partion their hard drives the same as desk tops, but they are lazy and do not want to spend a lot of time doing support so that they end up putting the o/s on the little jerk "C" and "D" then made only one data drive, what a waste for so many people who do not know how to reconfigure a hard drive and eventually go out and buy a disc external hard. What they need to do is put the o/s on 20 GB on a partition "D" and only that and in this way, that he stay away from all your personal files and you can usually get to that drive through the BIOS. So why in more eager to get rich outside sales; hard drives would be that they be allowed to set the lap tops this way when nobody wants in this way? Sorry for the rant everyone but after a week to make Vista _ I'm so happy I have XP and XP Media 2005. Thanks again.
Tiggerer
TiggererIf you do not trust in Torrents; That's ok.
You get the drive Monday, anyway.

You do not want to use Neosmart, you need to use a Microsoft Vista DVD(notDell, HP, etc Recovery disk):
A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
The product key determines which version of Vista is installed. There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
Here's the instructios on how to start repairs:

I need help with disk cleanup, please.
Note: If you try to free up disk space, Disk Clean-Up is not the only way to do it. Ask if you want more ways to clean up your drive diisk.
Addressing your question, the disk cleanup cannot free a lot of space if you liked - it varies the amount of temporary files are on your PC. If it doesn't increase disk space, it is not a major problem.

Here are the instructions to remove some of the restore points using disk cleanup. Your system is configured to record everything automatically on your computer at periodic points so if you need to restore your system files will be there. But sometimes, you get more restore points that you want or need and he can eat a lot of disk space. Here's how to control this. You can use Disk Cleanup to remove points of restoration and the free space on the hard disk on your computer.
Disk removes the cleanup all but the last restore point on your computer. In some editions of Windows Vista, restore points can include previous versions of files. Previous versions are also deleted.
1. open Disk Cleanup by clicking the Start button, tap all programs, accessories, click System Tools, and then click Disk Cleanup.
2. in the Disk Cleanup Options dialog box, click files from all users on this computer. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
3. If prompted, select the drive you want to clean, and then click OK.
4. click the other Options tab.
5. under System Restore and shadow copies, click Clean up, and then, in the confirmation dialog box, click on delete.
6. If you want to continue using disk cleanup for other drives on your computer, click the Disk Cleanup tab. To quit Disk Cleanup, click Cancel.

A copy of Windows Vista on a current copy of loading
My daughter has ignored the constant reminders on his cell phone to upgrade the antiviral software. We also have a network of Wi - Fi high flow and she forgets to log out. Enough with my shortcomings as a parent. It seems that the current version of Windows Vista has become corrupted somehow because even after using the software and then manually chasing viral channels the old fashioned way have the files and their location identified and then find and remove the necessary channels. I just want to reload Windows Vista during the current edition. I have all the product keys and did similar re - installed with an earlier version of windows. The concern I have is that I did not find simple re - install instructions. All of them talk about partitioning or re-partitioning the hard drive. Maybe I'm be thick headed, but can I just start the computer, insert the DVD in, select install and manually choose Customize I need that no longer works correctly? Sorry about the verbosity, but I want to be as clear as possible and thanks in advance.
Hello
You must delete the existing Vista partition and reload Vista and get rid of the malware.
That's how a clean reinstallation is made.

original title: internet connections
I use windows vista home premium II edition and I would like to know if it is possible to view each program, material, device, etc., which is connected to the internet at the same time on my pc and I can vew all in the same window screen?
Hello nephew0117,
Unfortunately, there is no tool that would give you a report on what programs are using Internet connection on your computer.
None of the devices use the Internet connection on the computer if you connect external devices.
You can check the task manager that will give you information about what programs are running and you can check what programs use the Internet.
You can also look for some third-party programs that will help you monitor it. You can use your favorite search engine to find it.
DISCLAIMER OF THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE:
Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk. -
2 window vista Ultimate on the same computer.
Windows Vista Ultimate had some problem so I installed another a thought that whoever has the problem would be to replace it with the new, but he does not. So now I'm stuck with 2 Windows Vista Ultimate on my computer and it take so much space. So my question is: how to remove or uninstall Windows Vista Ultimate Edition. Even if you have a little idea, submit it.*
Alyosha
Alyosha,
Remove or uninstall Windows Vista is possible in specific scenarios. You please clarify how you did your installation of Windows Vista?
1. have you installed your new ultimate configuration on a new partition?
2. have you you choose customized and placed the installation in the same partition as your old ultimate configuration? In this case you see two Windows folder in your C: drive / drive (or any other partition)? (Possibly with the .old extension)
For installation of two operating systems to Windows Vista on two separate partitions study the following:
Before you begin you will need your Installation of Vista support

Start then in the version of Vista you want to keep and follow these steps to reformat the partition now unwanted Vista install and then uninstall.
Note:
- Formatting a volume will destroy all data on the partition. Be sure to make backups of all the data to save before you begin.
- You cannot format a disk or partition that is currently in use, including the partition that contains Windows.
- Quick format is a formatting option that creates a new file table, but do not completely overwrite or erase the volume. A quick format is much faster than a normal format, which fully erases the existing data on the volume.
1. open computer management by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, clicking Administrative Tools, and then double-click computer management. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
2. in the Navigation pane, under storage, click disk management.
3. right click on the volume that you want to format, and then click format.
4. to format the volume with the default settings, in the format dialog box, click OK, and then click OK again.
