Windows Vista Office twice
Yesterday, I downloaded TDSKiller on my computer to use to remove viruses. When I did this, I was not able to load the program. However, I have noticed that after a while, the start menu don't jump upward when I clicked it. Also, while listening to Youtube btwn 12-01:00, I noticed that a window suddenly appears asking if we wanted to launch the command prompt. The sound has suddenly stuck and stuck to the screen. The computer turned off and rebooted by itself.
When it is loaded, there is a black screen with a mouse button in the center of my computer that was running in safe mode. I had to put the computer it reboot and create another account in order to access my files. When I did this, the other account has worked perfectly well. There was no detected error, and the only thing I saw running on it was Syshost.exe (which is the Install Shield program).
I did the following last night around the time that it happened to try to fix the problem:
1. I changed the configuration of the system starts do not normally but in load Mode without fail to start
2. I also disabled all services.
This morning when I turned on the computer around 07:30, or so I got a black screen instead of the normal desktop.
1. I went through another account and deliver to boot normal and active all services other than those belonging to what I thought were malware or virus. When I did this, the normal desktop appeared on the screen. However, after a few seconds, the screen looks like it is going to close, but then a new Office would charge again. In other words, it looks like I have rebooted the account and the office. This morning, after that I went online Mozilla Firefox to navigate and clicked on a process that I think is malware, I went to hit my Start button. I noticed that the Start button has been frozen and the Start Menu would not jump upward. Before this happens, I noticed that I would be redirected to another Web site whenever I clicked a link from google. The browser is always do this but hit the back button 2 x seems to load the right page.
Another problem, I've noticed, is that I can not use the installation repair mode. When I select this option after clicking on F8, the program takes me to a screen with a user account on that says the other. He asked a password and a name. I can't use the name and consider the computer to load it.
Can you tell me how to solve this problem?
Also, what is someone used Malwarebytes Anti-Malware program? How does it work? Whenever I run I find several virus/Trojans and malware on my system. Is this normal or is the viral particles leaving program for cleaning?
Looks like you're still infected. Take a look at this site because it has some great information/instructions.

I hope this helps.

Another forum for desktop icons frozen suggests will restore program, but I'm having trouble
by following the instructions given. Any detailed instructions and suggestions - or any other solutions would be much
appreciated!
You are welcome; Sorry, it didn't fix it.
It seems that by what you tell us it works OK in Mode safe as the system restore worked.
Function icons open programs and run in a reasonable manner in Mode safe?
Try this:
Download, install, update and scan your system with the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware in Mode safe mode with networking:

And here's how to go in Safe Mode options; Select safe mode with networking from the list of options:

There are many things that could cause this type of problem.
They may have installed more then an Antivirus, which is a no-no.
If the worst happens, instead of scrapping, back up the data and reinstall Vista from the DVD or from the recovery partition.

Windows Vista - office computer will not do anything but turn on
Original title: Hello, friendlies,.
Hello, friendlies. My Vista 64-bit desktop will do nothing but turn the power on. The problem was first noted when the screen went repeatedly to sleep, saying that he did not receive any message VGA. I ran checkdisk and other diagnostics of starting on the screen opening, more internal diagnostics and file reviews while the computer was still partially working. Startup functions diagnosis finally displayed the Red RAM. Unfortunately, I makes no record of error messages when the computer might work, and there is no access now to error messages. I can't find my starter or backup discs. The Office initially had Norton and now AVG virus, etc., during the problem without change during or immediately after the transition. (Without trying to defend my intelligence) I would of course use some suggestions? For example, can I use my Win 7 64 Mobile plugin and look at the Office? If Yes, how safely?
Thank youCraigHello

If you experience problems with the Office updates, try to manually download the same and install.
You can search the individual updates here:
http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/en/default.aspxHe just put in the KB number and then perform a search.
If it always creates a problem disconnect from the internet and then try to install the updates, and another thing, you can try is turn off UAC before downloading a first update manually. See: (Guided Help: settings to adjust user account control in Windows 7):

Hello
Hope someone here might be able to help. Running Windows Vista Ultimate Pro OS but realize I have to make the trip up to 7 or 8.1. Can someone tell me how to do this (i.e. should I get Windows 7, then update to 8.1, or can simply go directly from Vista to 8.1)? I'm hoping to minimize the costs that we are on a bit of a fixed income here. Can I use upgrades or what I must have full OS to move?
On the front of MS Office, currently sports Office 2007, but desperately need to move until the most recent is and again, this can be done cheaply? I mean can I pay at a discounted price on eBay or Amazon or I have to go directly to the shop of MS to ensure an authentic copy (but * frown * full price)?
It's been rough, the last 4 years, but I think that things are finally looking a bit and wanted to get new systems / software in place while I still had the chance. Don't want to be caught in the position where Microsoft continues the upgrade / support versions that I run, it's a kind of scary place, unless it is on an old / computer test, but not my direct computer to use computers all day.
Any assistance with this will be appreciated. Thank you all and have a great day!
Hello
Nothing can 'do with it' If you want legal software.
What, whether it's "buyer beware".
It's your choice where you buy your software since.
With Windows 7 Microsoft no longer sells, so you use Amazon, etc.
There is no way to upgrade Vista to 8.1
Before purchasing Windows 7, follow these steps:
Go to your computer / computer laptop manufacturer Web site and see if Windows 7 drivers are available for your make and model computer / laptop.
If this is not available, Windows 7 will not properly work for you.
Run the "Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor.
http://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=20
Check if your specifications are compatible for Windows 7:
"Windows 7 system requirements"
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/products/system-requirements
"Windows 7 Compatibility Center" for software and hardware:

Do the following before upgrade you to Windows 8.1.
Check if the manufacturer of your computer/laptop has Windows 8 drivers available for your model.
If this is not available, Windows 8/8.1 not install and work properly for you.
There is a lot of information in this first link from Microsoft:
Download and run the Windows Upgrade Assistant 8.1 of to see if your machine is compatible Windows 8.1 and read the update for Windows 8.1: FAQ here
