Windows Vista - office computer will not do anything but turn on

Original title: Hello, friendlies,.

Hello, friendlies.  My Vista 64-bit desktop will do nothing but turn the power on.  The problem was first noted when the screen went repeatedly to sleep, saying that he did not receive any message VGA.  I ran checkdisk and other diagnostics of starting on the screen opening, more internal diagnostics and file reviews while the computer was still partially working.   Startup functions diagnosis finally displayed the Red RAM.  Unfortunately, I makes no record of error messages when the computer might work, and there is no access now to error messages.  I can't find my starter or backup discs.  The Office initially had Norton and now AVG virus, etc., during the problem without change during or immediately after the transition.  (Without trying to defend my intelligence) I would of course use some suggestions?  For example, can I use my Win 7 64 Mobile plugin and look at the Office?  If Yes, how safely?

Thank you
Craig

Hello

No, you cannot use your laptop in order to study your computer problem.

Looks like you have a hardware problem.

"he received no VGA message."

It's to do with your graphics hardware.

'display the RAM in red '.

RAM is material too.

Contact the manufacturer of the computer, if under warranty.

If it is not under warranty, go to a repair store, local.

See you soon.

Had to reinstall Windows Vista Basic on my laptop now girls probably 4 or 5 times over the past year.  A question is we get full and you get to a screen that says not to interrupt and cela will take a few minutes, which, on an attempt, I let it run all night and never went.  Finally, just let it load and put an end to the function and let him simply use the laptop.  Then after a few moments to use his laptop begins to freeze.  So, I have to go and try to reinstall its OS.

This is a codec package from Microsoft you want to download to see if it will be useful.  Also, try to update your Windows Media Player and Windows Update to get the latest version of the codec required to play the type of media.

You can also use your favorite search engine to look for codec packs available on the web to help you read the content.

I get only when the software upgrade performs its checks.  I am running Windows Vista Ultimate Edition with all updates to September 24, 2013.

Which edition of Windows 7? It matches the edition of Vista you are trying to upgrade to?

When important changes to your computer, for example an upgrade, it is always recommended that you back up your system before installing a new version of Windows. In your case, you can upgrade to Windows 7 depending on the edition and the architecture of Windows Vista, you have installed. If you are running a 32-bit version of Vista and upgrade to a 64-bit (Windows 7 edition) version, you'll have a pure make install, it is the opposite case.

If you are using Windows Vista Home Basic or Premium consumer editions, you can only upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium or Ultimate. In addition, you can make downgrades, which means, if you are running Windows Vista Ultimate Edition now, you cannot downgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium. You perform logical upgrades:

Windows Vista Home Basic > Windows 7 Home Basic, Premium or Ultimate

Windows Vista Edition Home Premium > Windows 7 Home Premium or Ultimate

Windows Vista Business > Windows 7 Professional, enterprise or ultimate edition

Windows Vista Business > Windows 7 Enterprise
