  Just open the program (it may be possible from the notification area icon if you have an or there should be an entry in the menu start / all programs for the program) and most of the AV software that I have seen or used the option clearly identified on the main screen or another primary screen if there are tabs or on a toolbar or at worst a deep layer in the options bar menu.  If there are options, clear all.

• Windows Vista continues to try to connect to the VirtualProfile in network connections.

  I was helping my brother set up its new Netgear Wireless USB adapter in Windows Vista and kept running into the same problem.  Once the adapter has been installed, Vista would continue to try to connect to a VirtualProfile under network connections which would interfere with the connection of the profile.  I had my brother take the VirtualProfile and then it connected correctly.  However, after each reboot, the connection of VirtualProfile appears every time and we need to start over the process.  A way to remove this VirtualProfile permanently and why what is happening?  Thanks for any input.

  Also I suggest that you check your system for corrupted files. You use the tool (SFC.exe) System File Checker to check and repair corrupt system files. To do this, follow these steps:

  (d) click Start, type "% WINDIR%\system32\spool\printers" in the search box and press ENTER, remove all files in this folder.

  (e) click Start, type "Services.msc" (without the quotes) in the search box and press ENTER.

• Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit loop continues!

  After spending 3 days reinstalling Vista and all of my programs after that my PC has crashed, Windows updates began and continues to stop, restart, stop, restart... Etc! ("CONFIGURATION of UPDATES 3 of 3-0% COMPLETE") It does not move 0%!  I had 3 Restore Points, but it says that I do not have?  I tried to start in safe MODE, but just to get a screen of scrolling files BACK!  I tried to fix IT but it found no problem starting?  How can I enter my office and use my computer?  I am most reluctant to reinstall again after having spent so much time reloading programs!  I used my XP system to enter in my drive C 64 Vista and checked Windows Update files and found a lot of mistakes which mean nothing to me!  I tried to attach the files here, but it did not work.  Any help appreciated.

  (3) try to get the error message by disabling "auto restart in case of system failure"

  The best way is to clean install and start over.

  In addition, it is not legal to have both installed version that the license is for a single installation.
