  No there is no way, how the do, because the license of Windows Vista is part of the computer compaq laptop - this is the license OEM - and cannot be separated.

  I'm upgrading my computer (only the operating system) and you want to install the copy of windows vista business - provided by MSDN
  Here's the problem
  I've logged into my account and have a free copy, so when I try to download it through me the 4 step procedure and wants to be stored (downloaded) directly online in the TEMP FOLDER.
  -> (download, authorization, unpacking and installation processes).
  I want to do a clean install of VISTA professional AND would like to get rid of windows XP SP2.
  How would do this, because I wonder to execute a procedure of the 4 step (see arrow above).

  MSDN software are downloaded as ISO files (finally they do when I download them). The ISO must be burned on a DVD and then it is simply a case of starting your PC, insert the DVD into your DVD drive and then restarting the PC again. You do not want to check that your DVD player is your first boot drive if the installation does not start.

  There is no Vista free download legal available.

  Borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
  A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
  The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

  There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

  If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

  Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

  I am selling my old laptop HP 6820 s to put the money to another and the main problem is that the original hard disk having bad sectors that prevent me from reinstalling Windows Vista Professional using the recovery disk. I was wondering if I bought a new hard drive of the same size and type, I was able to reinstall Windows Vista Business on it, especially since I still have the original key on the laptop itself.
