C:\Windows\system32\slmgr.vbs(1000, 9) (null): catastrophic failure
The foregoing is the cause of your problems.
I've not seen this exact error before, but I think the following should help - or at least shed a little more light on the problem.
(1) open an Internet browser window.
(2) type: %windir%\system32 in the browser's address bar.
(3) find the CMD.exe file
(4) make a right click on CMD.exe and select "Run as Administrator"
(5) type: net stop slsvc (it may ask you if you're sure, select Yes)
(6) type: cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareLicensing
(7) type: Rename tokens.bar tokens.dat
(8) type: cd %windir%\system32
(9) type: net start slsvc
(10) type: cscript slmgr.vbs - FLIR (it may take time for this will be complete, please be patient)
(11) restart your computer twice.

Windows Vista Build 6002, this copy is not genuine
I just update Quicktime and another, something to do with the overvoice for iPod (which I uninstalled it after I restarted my computer). He said now in the lower right of my screen
Windows Vista Build 6002, this copy is not genuine... also, after updatingand restarting my computer, I get a bubble telling me to activate windows
Help
AAARGH! :)
Has no task you!
For some reason, the operating system cannot correctly read the BIOS SLIC table that is required for automatic activation key OEM_SLP used here.
You must change the key to that on the link change the sticker COA product key using ghte on the system properties page.
You may need to activate by phone.
(This is another of your rescue machines?)

Screen reads Windows Vista (TM) Build 6002 this copy of windows is not genuine.
I had this for 4 years and no computer has ever seen this. I'm on anyway by clicking on "Activate later."
All the 'Help' forums I see suggest retype the product key. The sticker on my computer has a series of 20 characters of 5 letters and then 15 numbers without dashes or breaks.
When I retype it, on the second character (letter) he stops because the field says "invalid character": he wants a number when my product has letters.
In the system when I go to start. Computer. Properties of the system. He also says that I need to activate and has a product ID number with numbers and letters (5 numbers-3 letters-7 digit numbers 5) - but that doesn't work either. I don't know what product key to use because the two seem invalid now or my computer does not allow me to type the right pair...
so far.
All the advice give me links that do not work, such as:link does NOT-work window starts then disappearshttp://go.Microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=52012 this does NOT work either...Help!
Because my computer is more than 3, I can not yet ask questions by phone. Each application number for my service code that crashes then upwards on me are not covered...
Thanks for any help-i'm mystified as to how this could happen right now. I have not downloaded new programs recently...
I'm afraid to try to uninstall because I don't want to lose my itunes or personal files...
I guess I need to just unplug and get a flashlight, because I easily see not no sticker on my computer with that type of number... it seems crazy that the number is not available otherwise.
If the worst comes to the worst and you have a vista OS preinstalled, Dell, HP or whatever, you do not say, contact the manufacturer of your machine and ask them to send you a set of vista recovery disc and reinstall the operating system to how you bought your machine
normally, these recovery disks do not require an input key product on your part
and they do it for a nominal cost of $
________________________________________________________
also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought
you would normally press F8, F9, F10 or F11 or Alt + F10 or 0 to start to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer
Ask them of the exact key sequence
and the same thing applies to that too; No product key entry required by you

Windows Vista (TM) Build 6001 this copy of Windows is not genuine
I tried to connect to the internet, the screen went black and when she came back on everything on the screen has been expanded. Then, I changed my laptop, using the power button. When I switched back on it the "Windows Vista (TM) Build 6001 this copy of Windows is not genuine" message appeared in the lower right corner of the screen, and all the icons on the desktop had been rearranged - with a few missing. I no longer seem to have the suite Microsoft Office applications on my laptop and I can't connect to the internet. Several other tools on Vista work is more (including the 'Research' in the Start Menu tool). Please note that I had my laptop for about 18 months and it came pre-installed with a 'Real' copy of Vista Home Premium Operating System, I had no problem with the operating system before this appearance. After reading other threads on the forum, I have downloaded and run the 'real diagnostic tool' recommended. I got the following results: -.

you need to change your product key to the one on your COAClick Start, type slui 3, press on enterAdditional information:
Computers, which are built by large manufacturers provided with pre-installed Windows are supplied with 2 two product keys:
OEM SLP: This key comes pre-installed in Windows, when it comes to the factory. This key is designed to work with the special instructions isn't on the hardware of this manufacturer. Then, when Windows was installed using the OEM SLP (in factory) Windows 7 key leans on the motherboard and he sees special instructions and activates. (that's why you had no need to turn on your computer after you brought it home)
COA SLP: it's the product key that you see on the sticker on the side (or at the bottom, [or in the battery compartment]) of your computer. It is a valid product key, but must be used only in certain situations (for example, if the OEM SLP key stops automatic activation for a reason any). The key must be activated by phone. (Note: all manufacturers that use the SLP OEM system are bound by contract to include a certificate of Authenticity sticker (COA), which has a COA SLP key, on the computer)

Windows 7 Build 7601 this copy is not genuine
I had to have my hard drive replaced as it crashed and has been beyond repair, the repairman then reinstalled windows 7 Home Premium, for me and since then this message has been displayed on my screen with a black background. I had back up discs, but they would not reinstall anything. I originally received a message to activate windows 7, but I was told that the details were incorrect.
Have you tried to restart by phone?
How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)
1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4
(2) press the ENTER"" key.
(3) select your "country" in the list.
(4) choose the option "activate phone".
(5) stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.
(6) explain your problem clearly to the support person.
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/950929/en-us -
After a restart/virus scan (after the large recent Windows Update Microsoft), I see on the background one right part of my screen:
Windows Vista (TM) Build 6002 this copy of Windows is not genuine.
I looked at the system screen and it shows only: Windows is activated.
I ran Microsoft Genuine Diagnostics tool, and it shows:
Validation status: genuine
Validation code: 0N/a for resolution state (probably because he thinks that the installation is correct).
Don't know what the issue is here? Does anyone know a fix for this? I would rather have not shut down the system after 30 days of work!
Thank you!According to the report that you have posted, you should not see a non-genuine problem - the report is clean.
If you are indeed to see a non-genuine notification, then is that from time to time, or is this all the time?
If it is present only from time to time, you have a race condition - and those can be a nightmare to solve, because they disappear as soon as you look at :) They are often caused by antivirus programs in conflict with other programs running
If it is there all the time, then try the following.
Vista license store is perhaps damaged or its data can be ruined somehow. Please try the steps below to re-create the store with the correct data.
(1) open an Internet browser window.
(2) type: %windir%\system32 in the browser's address bar.
(3) find the CMD.exe file
(4) make a right click on CMD.exe and select "Run as Administrator"
(5) type: net stop slsvc (it may ask you if you're sure, select Yes)
(6) type: cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareLicensing

(8) type: cd %windir%\system32
(9) type: net start slsvc

"Build 6002: this copy of Windows is not genuine".
Hello world...
I've had my TOSHIBA Satellite L40-139 for more than a year. She was purchased by PC World and came with a preinstalled version of Windows Vista Edition Home Premium. I don't have the disc that came with the laptop, but the Windows installed is genuine.
I went to install Vista Service Pack 2 after you download. I restarted my laptop only to find my desktop wallpaper disappeared and was replaced with a black background and the following text in the lower right of the desktop:
Windows Vista (TM)
Build 6002
This copy of Windows is not genuineShe was followed by a pop-up with two options, 'Activate now' or 'Activate later', followed by a pop up an error that says Windows must be reinstalled as a "unauthorized modification were made...". Please insert the CD or DVD. If I press 'Activate now' he's just another pop up that says I can contact TOSHIBA. If I click on the link it will just a standard screen for "help!"
I don't know what to do... I have the sticker intact COA product key and tried to enter, but she returned with various errors. It's like as soon as I installed service pack 2 I had problems. Yet once again, I don't have Vista or a toshiba recovery disk (I don't even know if it came with one). I tried to restore Windows, but it returns with the same screens!
Help!
PS. is the Toshiba support line a toll-free number? Does anyone know a number that is free to call mobile phones? (I don't have a landline).
Your model of laptop is not delivered with the recovery disk, but with recovery image stored on the HARD drive. In s manuals document clearly describes that you must fund recovery DVD only tool preinstalled Toshiba recovery disc creator.
Version of the OS pre-installed (Toshiba recovery image factory settings) is definitely authentic and I really don t understand how it can happen. I mean thousands of people do the same update, and there is no other claim on similar problems.
Anyway, if you didn t create recovery disk you can try now is to reinstall the OS using the HDD recovery procedure. How to do this you can read in document http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD9102IR0000R01.htm Toshiba FAQ
This will remove all HARD drive, extract second partition so if you have some important data backup. If it will not let me know.

I tried to uninstall a download iTune my daughter did and restart my system it give me a message in the lower right corner of my screen windows vista build 6000, this copy is not genuine
original title: windows vista does notHello
1. do you have an error message after you uninstall iTunes?
2. are there any changes to the system?
3 have you installed a genuine copy of Windows when installing?
4. do you have the Windows operating system installation disc?
5. you have the product key for Windows Setup that came with the installation disc?
Check your activation key and validate Windows by going to the Windows Genuine validation website.

Build 6002 this copy of Windows is not genuine. And it will not accept my registration keys-
An update of my system took place yesterday. has worked for several hours today and the screen went black, and this message appeared: Build 6002 this copy of Windows is not genuine.
Now I'm stock and can't get my system to respond.
Hi Mick:
Following up on the Question:
I tried several methods to update my valid registration keys and to clear this error message. Done with a case of pension to MS. Took them 3 hours (on the phone) to solve this problem. they installed some exec and had to override system to accept my valid registration keys.
Problem is now solved.
Thanks for trying.

I don't get an error code, only a build 6002 #.
Hello
Go here: http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/
Click on the blue button in the left column to "validate windows".
Build 6002 # simply indicates that SP2 is installed. Something else you have installed or updated interfered with the validation of Windows. The above will allow you to re - validate.

This copy is not genuine...
Hello, I cheack my windows from the start menu (START > ACTIVATION of WINDOWS). He said that my copy is genuine. Then I download an app from microsoft to cheack again. But that it shows that my copy is not genuine. What can I do now? My laptop has now show a message "this copy of windows is not genuine". How can I fix it? Please reply,
To analyze and solve problems for Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the diagnostic report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to the desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
Once downloaded, run the tool.
Click on the button continue, after a short time, continue button will change to a copy button.
Click the copy button in the tool (ignore the error at this stage) and then paste (with r-click and paste or Ctrl + V) in your message. (please do not change the report.)
Please indicate the version and edition of windows from your COA. do not specify the product key from the COA.
