Windows xp, I deleted a user and now I lost the files; How can I get it back?
I got 2 user accounts. However, never used the 2nd - or so I thought - so I removed it. When I deleted this user, the file with the same name on the other account also disappeared! I tried restoring and that did not work. I knew that one of the names in the file deleted from an excel file and done a search that search in hidden files - nothing. Help please (Yes that I should have backed up before I deleted - I saved the office but not this file. sigh:(Merci pour votre aide)
Hi christinecarrington,
You can use any third-party application to recover data lost by using your favorite search engine.
Note: Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

Accidentally right click the Blue Star and now he's gone. How can I get that back?
I was looking for a way to put the bookmark in the right category. Right click and then I think I clicked on one marked 'menu of options', but I do not know because at that time there closed the dialog box and the Blue Star is no more.
I can't find any instructions to use the new options of customization, mentioned in stories about 29.Just go to the Menu bar (press F10 or Alt to the unhide) now go to view > > toolbars > > Customize > > look right, look for favorite icon, the drag and drop in the toolbar.
I think when you click in the option to switch to the menu.

When I arrived at vista is there and when I customize and install my games and software etc. He disappeared. How can I get that back?
Thanks for the help!
Hello
This toolbar is common to Dell systems, called a Delldock, it is not part of Vista, but rather is installed by the manufacturer. Other manufacturers, such as HP, have similar tools. Consult with the support of the manufacturer just reinstall. Good luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Crazy" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com Windows help - www.rickrogers.org

I chose my resolution of windows xp to the highest frequency screen and my screen become black and displayed out of reach, I restarted my pc, but when it came to the login page my screen shows again her even, how can I get it back?
Hi hcosdihv,
Start the PC in safe mode then go back to the display settings and set the resolution to a lower level.
You start in Mode safe by constantly pressing the F8 key as your PC starts. A menu will appear and you must select the Safe Mode option.
Once you have changed the screen resolution, you can restart your PC normally.
Make sure that you "only" to select an output of the range option.
