Is there a file where are stored the data pause & rewind live TV in Windows Media Center? More to the point - how can I save the time shift buffer in WMC?

I would like to know if it is possible to find the data that Windows Media Center is to store during her watch TV Online. I don't speak data WMC stores by itself to allow the use of the function of pause & rewind live TV, how to find files that you have saved yourself by pressing the Red record button.

For example, I often live TV playing on the computer in the background while I do something else. Can I see or hear a brief fact/clip/segment of interest that flashes by and I think, ' I wish I had recorded that. " If I go back to the bit I wanted to capture and hit record, it will not capture the part I want, it will start recording from the point, the program has achieved in real time.

Does anyone know where the actual data of the TV are kept so that I can retrieve these clips that interest me, but were never recorded by me manually? I found the "TempRec" in the folder "Recorded TV" - anyone know how to convert this video (if indeed it is the location where you store temporary data for pause & rewind live TV)?

If not, is it possible to enable a feature in WMC, which automatically starts the recording of TV channels as soon as you go to them? This way I can record everything, then just cut all the scenes of interest using Movie Maker. If not, are there other Win7 compatible programs that will do this?

    Thank you.

Apparently, there is a way to achieve the goal.

A nice gentleman from the Germany wrote dll that create a "time-shift buffer recording" add-in for WindowsMedia Center (for Vista and XP only) which can be found at:

    http://thegreenbutton.com/forums/p/3...83.aspx#162083

For Windows 7, there would currently be via a 3rd party of program, i.e. PowerCinema 6, which records from any point in the time shift buffer zone - I don't know why Microsoft has not also incorporated this feature into WMC for have other programs third 3rd (including EyeTV for the Mac).

Unfortunately, suggestions from another forum to change file extensions in .tmp .dvr-ms TempSBE and double-click on the file to read the file of time lag in WMC, does not work in Windows 7 x 64 (the message in this forum has been regarding the Vista x 64), however, I have not tried with other versions of Windows - I would like to know if anyone has had some luck using this method.

Even if it had worked, I think I would have always preferred the usability and features of a program that does the job for me, like Power Cinema - damage, it could not have been WMC. What do you think?

    Thank you.

  • Connector of the Disqualification Siebel - where are the reference data?

    Hello

I need to add a web duplicates verification service to my Disqualification - CDS project. And I would check if Disqualification fills the internal reference data table. But how can I know where is this reference data table?

I have not configured any storage data in any far - as I've not met any stage in literature who told me to do. Not sure if it's true. S_DQ_ORG_KEY in Siebel's to fill. But is that all I need?

    I use Disqualification 11 and Siebel 8.1.1.3.

    Daniel

The equivalent services CDS reference data ports wired for coupling reference data, but these are not used for Disqualification attached to Siebel. They are used when the pairing process is used for the enrichment of data.

With Siebel, Disqualification * does not hold * a copy of the customer's data. Siebel returns records Disqualification, Disqualification so didn't need to access or attempt to keep a synchronized of the 50,000 records copy.

I recommend reading the help topic Disqualification on corresponding real-time online - which can help clarify things. Also read DQ Adminstration Siebel Guide. Siebel has a DQ interface mappings defined attributes that are then mapped into the web services of the Disqualification. When activated, Disqualification is called every time a record is added or changed in Siebel to check if it is a duplicate. Driving record is passed through, as well as candidates who share a key value, in a single web service request. Disqualification then returns all the matches of Siebel. No data is stored in the Disqualification here. All this is predefined - you can change it if you must, but you don't need to create web services from scratch.

Note that it works really well, you need Siebel 8.1.1.10 or later because this allows to use the Disqualification to generate the keys used for the selection of candidates. Otherwise, the selection of candidates will be too rudimentary to match really effective.

You do not enter if you are under Windows (and the version of Windows) or Mac. If you have installed the profiles with the installer for Adobe, they should be in the right directory. The directory with Windows depends on how you were connected during the installation. With my Windows 7 computer, my camera profiles are in the following directories:

    c:\ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles\

    c:\All Users\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles\

And made using the DNG editor profiles are in:

c:\users\Bill\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles. AppData is a hidden directory and you need allow the display of the hidden directory to find.

  • Where are the profiles of missing in Lightroom CC 2015.1 Canon lenses?

Lens profiles for Canon EF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 and Canon EF - S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 lack in Lightroom CC 2015.1 even if they were there in Lightroom 5.x. They are no longer present in the lens profile menu drop-down. Where have they gone?

Objective JPEG profiles are not provided for the Canon EF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 and Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 and perhaps other lenses. That is why the list is shorter. You will need the Lens profile Downloader allows you to add profiles from JPEG lenses for these lenses.

  • Migration from XP to Windows 7 - where are the photos?

I'll put up a new Win 7 machine. I 30 000 pictures on my old XP machine, almost all in c:\documents and Marc Documents\My pictures\ < date >.  The file structure is different in Windows 7.  What is the best way to make photos the new machine (where I put them in the file system) and not spend the rest of the Decade, reconnect the photos in the catalog?

PSE 8 on the old XP machine will be disabled and reinstalled on the Win 7 machine.

If you use the Windows utility to transfer your account and your files to the new computer, and you use the same account name, it will copy your picture files in:

    c:\Documents and settings\mark\pictures

(the new location for "My pictures" on Windows 7).  Windows also creates a special type of shortcut from the old location:

    c:\Documents and Marc Documents\My Pictures

in the new folder my pictures.   For backward compatibility, programs like PES who tries to open the old location will be automatically (unbeknownst to them) open the new location.  However, Windows Explorer shows that shortcut but it won't let you access it.

So, if you also transfer your catalog folder (help > System Info on the old system to find), in theory when you open the catalog in PES on the new computer, all these former locations stored in the catalog will be automatically directed to the new location.   While this works normally, there are a few pitfalls - PSE can be confused by the fact that there are two different names for the same exact set of folders and files.  I think that this confusion is often harmless, but some people have reported strange conditions that peut have been caused by this confusion.

So if you really want to be sure and avoid using shortcuts backward compatible 'useful' to my images, I recommend to use the backup/restore method to move your catalog and photos, with the new location / option of the Original Folder Structure.   It has its own warts (very deep structures of records creation), but you can clean them up later.  Check out this FAQ and the Adobe referenced tech note for more details:

  • In Windows 8, where are the pictures of cute account that were available in Windows 7?

I think that the title is pretty self-explanatory. Little, I liked the pretty pictures. By default mine rubber ducky on this new computer. I can't find the others. Where did they go?

    Hello

You can use any image for your image file into account.

If you have access to any Windows 7 computer, you can copy photos from default account on a USB key and place them in a folder on the PC in Windows 8.

In Windows 7, these photos are stored in the following folder.

    C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\User account Pictures\Default pictures

Copy the default folder of images on a USB key.

On the computer of Windows 8, place this file in the folder images C:\Users\your utilisateur\Mes .

(Where name is the name of the account allows you to connect)

After the folder is placed in this place, on the Start screen, click on your account in the top-right and select the image account.

In the next window, click on the Browse button.

Click the link to go to the top until you see the pictures folder. Select this folder to expand.

Select the default images folder, then select the photo that you want to use.

Click on the Change picture button.

  • The fonts TrueType in Windows 7, where are they?

Then... How should we whacked 'installation' fonts TrueType in Windows 7 and have them ACTUALLY "appear" when I need them?
We have a style of particular font we've used almost never (since Windows 95, in fact) that the time does NOT appear as a choice of fonts, even if I (apparently) 'installed' the police in this brand new computer that is running Windows 7 Pro...
I "sailed" to the location on our server where this policy is 'stored' - 'clicked' on it and choose 'install' - and Windows 7, installed it, he SAID--and yet I am not able to select within Word 2007.
Try repeating this step, it says it IS installed and "I want to replace" - Yes, OK, let's try again... "Yes, replace"... but still not available anywhere in my PC.
Then... What is 'the secret' to get this TTF 'seem' when I need?

Copy and paste the old in Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Fonts police if you do not see it here.
However, if you have clicked and selected install - do you have a "Install font" window popping up?
If so, it copies the file in there.

If Word does not see, it is a different matter. I don't know that it uses the default location for its list. VP Tech Services

The lens profile Downloader gives you access to the profiles created and uploaded to the server from Adobe by our users. The profiles that you mention are provided by Adobe as part of the Lr3.3, Camera Raw 6.3 and DNG Converter 6.3 installation program. Also, they are not compatible with raw images and will not even visible with Lr unless images are raw. If you don't see them, then there's a very high probability that it is because you have not installed any one of the application mentioned above or your images are TIFF, JPEG or PSD.

  • where are stored the data planning forms?

If it is stored as a file on the server with a file extension
or are they completely stored in the db tables?
We want to use Forms data for version management and moving from DEV to QA forums etc.
is it possible to do this?

Planning forms can be exported (.xml) and imported into the target of planning an application.

FormDefUtil.cmd is used for this purpose, it is present in the \Planning\bin folder

Goto the location of stations (via cmd prompt) and use the syntax "formdefutil .

The files would be saved in the same location and can be imported into the target of planning an application using the syntax above.

    I hope this helps.

  • Windows Mail - where are the Images?

Windows Mail has suddenly / recently ceased to display images in the body of the email, replaced by the place with Red Cross holders.  I am running Vista Home Premium; service pack 2; 64-bit operating system.  Windows Mail I have * no * check box in the Options - Security to block images and other external content in HTML messages. (In other words, all images should download automatically).  There is no 'right click' option to download images when I have an open message. There an InfoBar at the top of the message to download and display the images in the current message.  The images disappeared maybe a week or two ago.  Help please - I've exhausted the obvious options.

@tirenpace: Thanks - but none of those who apply.  I don't have any problem to see images on Web pages (and in any case, I use FireFox as my browser).  And, as I said in my question, I have already set up Windows Mail to download all images; and there * no. * InfoBar at the top of the message to download and display the images in the current message.

I stumbled upon a resolution however; which makes no sense, but that worked.  To restore the default settings of IE.  I don't know how it worked, but it did.
