Wireless driver missing

I have a HP Tx1000. After windows update (definition update for Windows Defender - KB915597 (definition 1.55.543.0)) I shut down my computer and resume later. Broadcom wireless driver wasn't in my device manager. So I restored back window a few days before and then uninstalled Broadcom wireless driver went to HP and downloaded the driver again and it works fine, until I closed my computer again, and when it restarted the Device Manager could not find the wireless Broadcom driver. Since then, I tried everthing to get Vista to recognize the driver with no luck.

Update - post simular problem

This is the Broadcom W7 driver that is bound to the 550-000 series support page.

It seems terrible old for me that is why I didn't post it.

This package provides the driver Broadcom Wireless LAN (WLAN) in the supported desktop models and operating systems.

    File name: sp68997.exe

If this does not work either I suggest to reinstall W7 because all experimentation driver you have probably messed up the registry.

Check the hardware ID of the device with the taken ID's supported by the drivers that I posted.

The one I posted is supported by models with the following ID as set forth in the driver installation information file.

    ; x 64 (AMD64, Intel's EM64T) - Win7
    ;

  • Windows 10 Lenovo y560 WIreless driver

I've updated my laptop Lenovo y560 to 10 Windows.

Works for the most part, except for the built-in wireless connector.

Regular ethernet works, but I cannot get wireless to work.

Any helpful suggestions or link of the driver?

    Thank you.

    Mike

Well, I tried to install Win 7 drivers for all drivers listed under the download tab wireless to see if everything worked. I then ran the app from support from Lenovo and it showed a driver missing for the wireless adapter. He installed an Atheros driver or something like and wireless has started working. It took about 3 days on and off redolve.

Still miss me 3 drivers according to 10 Windows device manager, but video, network, usb wireless, audio and camera all seem to work well for the moment.

  • R500 - wireless driver not found

    Hello

Recently, I ran the Thinkpad rescue and recovery to refresh my laptop and start with a new Windows XP.

I also ran through system update and got all the latest drivers and software updates.

As a result, I noticed that my wireless is not working and is not even detected. To do this, I downloaded all the drivers LAN wireless available following for ThinkPad R500 - 2732 - 6EG - Windows XP Professional:

    1. Intel Wireless LAN (bg, abg, abgn) for Windows XP - ThinkPad - v15.03.2000
    2. ThinkPad 11 b/g/n Wireless LAN Mini-PCI Express card II for Windows XP - ThinkPad - v1.00.0029.8
    3. Wireless LAN ThinkPad (11bg, 11abg, 11abgn) for Windows XP, 2000 - ThinkPad - 7.6.1.260b

But my Intel PROSet/Wireless WiFi Connection Utility said that the "driver is not installed' even after rebooting.

I also check the Device Manager and noticed that under the NICs only below:

    1. Network adapter 1394
    2. BroadCam NetLink (TM) Gigabit Ethernet

    What could be the problem?

PS: Please note that my wireless was working properly before going through the rescue and recovery.

Waiting for your feedback as soon as possible and thank you very much for your support in advance.

    Kind regards

    Eli

    Welcome to the forum!

What an interesting R500 you have... I'm jealous...

Your ThinkPad as she left the plant:

    P7370 (2 GHz), 2 GB RAM, 320 GB 5400 RPM HD, LCD 15.4 in 1680 x 1050, 128 MB ATI Radeon HD3470, CD-RW/DVD-RW, Intel 802.11agn wireless, Bluetooth, Modem, 1 Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, chip secure, reader of fingerprints, camera, 6 c Li-ion, WinVista Business 32

Even before to contemplate wireless, I would install the chipset driver first.

    It's the good wireless driver:

    http://download.Lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/PC/pccbbs/mobiles/g1w218ww_x32.exe

After downloading and extracting, you will have to go in C > drivers > win > Wlanint and run the Setup file from there.

The rest of the drivers should be available here:

    http://support.Lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/default.page?

Or, you can install the system update and let him find the missing drivers for you.

    Good luck.

  • My Ethernet drivers / wireless have missing/broken

Hello, my computer (Windows 7) partially stopped working, my driver for my wireless disappeared for about half a year now entire wireless driver disappeared and now my Ethernet stopped working with the message "registry files are missing or corrupt" and I really need help as soon as possible, I use test build 7601 mode when I click on the internet zone nothing appears the box wireless disappeared so I always need a cable with me.

I used the restore points from when I tried to update the driver but that has stopped working.

    Hello

    Please contact Microsoft Community.

First I suggest you work on corruptions of registry and for this try the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

Start the computer in safe mode, and then run SFC

Start your computer in safe mode
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Start-computer-safe-mode#start-computer-safe-mode=Windows-7

Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

If the problem persists, then you can try to manually replace the corrupted system files.

    Method 2:

Refer to this topic in the following link:
How to manually replace a file system damaged by a known good copy of the file

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833/en-us#manually repair

Note: Serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click on the number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

    Back up the registry

Please let me know if the problem persists. We will be happy to help you further.

    Thank you

  • Cannot install Wireless driver for Wifi

    * Original title: Wireless completely missing driver

I have a Toshiba Satellite L650 PSK1JA-0FN017, and recently he stopped to connect to a wi - fi connection. I checked the network adapters in the Device Manager and it lists only Atheros AR8152 PCI - E Fast Ethernet Controller. Ethernet works fine and seems the only way I can connect.
When I press Fn + F8 nothing happens (probably coz there is nothing to work on), but when I press the Fn, invented flash cards and the shortcut keys work for all other functions. I tried a system restore, recovery of hard drive, and nothing helps, it still does not work.
During the hard drive recovery process, I saw that he was installing Broadcom, Atheros Wireless Lan Intel AND drivers. I went on the site of Toshiba and re-installed all the wireless drivers, but nothing happens. I also tried updating my BIOS but that did nothing either. Because the wireless driver is missing, I don't know what specific driver, actually, I need to install so I tried lot but they did not work.
In addition, during the recovery process, I have 4 recovery disks, but it only used the first one as he did not invite me to insert other... Maybe that's where I was wrong? I also installed a Toshiba value pack...
Oh, I'm also running on Windows 7 64 bit

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. Even if you think of doing the things I've already mentioned, I'll try again.

  • Pavilion Dv4000: Windows 7 wireless driver help!

Guys, I really need your figureing helps it to...

My friends machine needed some TLC... so I formatted and reinstalled the Windows 7 operating system.

I went to the HP support for pilots page and there are only drivers XP Win.

In "Device Manager", it shows the following drivers requiring.

    Mass storage controller
    Multimedia Audio Controller
    Network controller
    Video controller

    The problem...

I simply can't the wireless to work for love nor money!

I downloaded and installed (a) different drivers for the wireless device. When they have been installed successfully, I'm supposed to be able to see a network to connect to diffuse all SSID wireless & Pick-up. I could not make it work! It worked once then stopped working again after it restarts as if this isn't retatining the driver for the wireless card. its really weird!

    Performed troubleshooting.

    • Downloaded the drivers for the wireless card and run them in compatibility mode (Win XP SP3) & installed.
    • Rebooted the machine. and the Wi - fi icon beside the clock has a red x through it, as it that the device is not enabled.
    • verified that the wifi was enabled. (what it was)
    • check that the pilot has been allowed within 'Device Manager' (it's still) drivers Displaying the "Intel 2200BG.
    • but still the Wifi symbol in the taskbar shows Red Cross or disabled marker on it.
    • Tried to install other Wifi drivers for the device of Intel 2200BG from other sites, including Intel. Restart, charges the driver installation (after removing the previous version) still nothing! same thing!
    • Tried to use the Intel utility to find the update and install the Wireless driver. (again same result).

It seems that Windows 7 accepts the driver Intel Pro / Wireless 2200BG, but somehow somewhere to turn off the device in Windows 7.  How does it can disable a device but see that the device is installed and works unless you are a doubtful driver?

Somehow, I managed to make it work for a while and connected to my wireless router. not a problem, then once the machine has been rebooted im at square one again!

thinking that might be something wrong with the registry systems or material etc... I then

    • Formatted the hard drive again for the 2nd time.
    • Re-installed the card WiFi on the laptop, checked the connections were seated correctly
    • re-installed the operating system Windows 7 again.
    • before applying any other drivers on the system I tried to reinstall the driver from the HP website (just to remove it may be a conflict driver with another thing. yet once always the same thing.

I spent hours on it now... and im at the point where I'm ready to run my friends laptop out the window and get extremely violent with her! I never met this before all the time, I played with computers. so I need someone to point out where im going wrong here. It's seriously making me crazy!

I have attached a picture of this post, I hope that's clear enough for you to see that bar Wi - Fi symbol and the pilot agreed to "Device Manager".

If anyone knows what drivers I can use for the rest of the devices, Audio, video (especially video and Wifi) and mass storage device would be much appreciated. There is still plenty of life in the old courbine of a machine and will make my boyfriend a good turn.
    • Someone please enlighten us on that until I lose the will to live!
    • Thanks in advance.

    You are the very welcome.

I see that the multimedia audio controller device has been installed and that means you should have sound there.

I already give you the driver for the mass storage controller (this is the card reader).

    Yes this is useful.

The graphics in this model is not quite able to market Vista or W7.  Quite capable, I mean he can't run Windows Aero.

There is that one driver in the world that has any chance of working for the graphics, it's this one... After installing this driver, you will be able to change the screen resolution and graphics acceleration is enabled.

    You must install it manually.

Download and run this driver.  You will probably get an error not supported operating system.

    Conclusion of any windows error.

Go to Device Manager and click on the video controller requiring driver.

Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.  Select her browse my computer for driver software option and find the folder of the driver that was created when you ran the file.

This file will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp34749.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected, and the driver should install.

Reboot and the graphics should work just fine, but not Aero.

  • Satellite A30 - ACPI driver missing

    Hello
I have an old A30 that I just installed Win7 on. Everything is fine apart from a missing driver - unknown device ACPI

In Device manager the hardware ID is ACPI\CMP0101

Now this laptop fan lights not bad and she has a random problem to close without reason. I checked the fans and they are clear. In my view, that stops can be connected to this driver missing because it can control the temp/fans that stop it overheating, and then I could be wrong...

I would appreciate any help and advice

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

Are you sure that you want to use Windows 7 on this computer laptop oldie? In my opinion, you should be happy with a preinstalled OS to Toshiba. There are all the drivers and tools pre-installed and you don t have the stress with the driver installation. You can have fun with your laptop :)

As you can see in another thread, you must reinstall Windows to solve this problem:
