With Vostro 3550 WPA2 connection problems

I recently bought two Vostro 3550 computer laptop.  Both machines can connect correctly to our encrypted network WEP, but cannot maintain a connection to our network WPA2-AES.  The machines will connect to the router and receive all IP configuration data, but will drop packets and finally not answered.  I use little window 7 professional 64.  The machines have a wireless card intel 1030.  Is anyone else having issues?

Hi Nascentt,

Thanks for the help. Have a wonderful day and we'll keep in touch.

  • Satellite L35 (US) with Atheros AR5005G wireless connection problems

I have a Toshiba L35 (Windows Media Center Operating System) with the software WiFi Atheros AR5005G. This machine was purchased in the United States.

While in the United States the Wi - FI connection to a router (Linksys) using Windows to configure was instant without any problem.

I am now in England and when I try to connect to a Modem/Router (3 com), use Windows to configure, connection is spasmodic with what makes a connection on every five attempts. Several times I have to use the repair connection device trying to connect. When it connects the connection is good. When you use the repair it shows unable to renew your IP address if it connects. On other occasions, I use the network connection Panel and 'disable' then 'activate' then most guarantees a connection.

The laptop provides instant connection when you use a card PCMCIA WiFi with Windows to configure. While the card is inserted the s computer WiFi connect instant however when the card is removed and the computer restarted the same problems occur for a computer, free WiFi!

Other laptops have no problems to connect to my Modem/Router. I am convinced that it is working properly.

All regional/language settings in the control panel have been updated with the United Kingdom.

No undates are available for the Atheros Driver or BIOS.

Anyone can help identify the problem/possible settings to change?

    Hello

Satellite L35 is a portable American designed for the American market. BIOS and drivers should be downloaded from the Toshiba site we and not on Toshiba Europe site.

However, the error message Impossible to renew your IP address is known to me and my brother had the same problem with the Intel card. I just updated the WLan driver and used the Intel Proset utility for WLan configuration.

I see that you have the Atheros card. The Atheros also provide an Atheros WLan client utility. Try to use instead of the clean Windows configuration.
In addition, place check WLan card properties. You will find energy saving option. Please turn it off and check the Advanced tab

  • Satellite A30 - huge WPA2 connection problems

Hi, I have an old A30. He got XP SP2 on it. I have a Belkin F5D7010uk slot pci wireless card, because I just upgraded my network with WPA2 security. Even if I have the latest drivers for the card and have downloaded and installed the patch windows xp microsoft 893357, the card sees my network, but don't connect properly (says there is little or no connection).

As I said to several men polished of the India by phone, I type the right password, and all firewalls and security are disabled. I can only assume, after working on this all day, it's a matter of toshiba (as it's quite old). Is there a driver to resolve this problem, or another problem?
I downloaded everything from microsoft that I should of.

    Thank you

    Select this option.

    Hi slarn,.

If I understand you correctly, you have exchanged the WLAN card. Right?
Well, sometimes here in the forum I read that other wireless network cards are not compatible. The point is that everything is not compatible with everything.

What you can do is to install the latest drivers and update the firmware on your router. Try the DHCP and static IP addresses.

If that doesn t work, buy a network card wireless to an authorized service provider. These cards are pre-tested

Try changing some settings on the router wireless.

Connect the computer to the router with the Ethernet cable. Open the router configuration page. Go to the wireless tab and the manual value configuration view. Change the channel to 11 wireless. Make sure that the network is set to mixed. Save the settings.

Go to wireless security sub tab and change the wireless WPA2 with AES security mode. Save the settings.

Click the tab under advanced wireless settings change the tag to 75 interval, RTS threshold and fragmentation to 2304. Save the settings. Now try to connect to the network again.

It is often the only to get back on the net to restart and start over.

The modem doesn't seem to be the problem as it works very well with my desktop and the laptop works very well when it is connected through wireless and idea and solution would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe you should take a look here in this thread:

    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=31982&TSTART=0

There is a user who uses the same modem SpeedTouch 330 USB on laptop with Vista OS.

You will need to install compatible drivers on the site of modem manufacturer.

  • Although my laptop (Vostro 3550) can connect to a remote server through VPN server will not recognize my user password and name. She will work to laptop to the network administrator, also under Win7

I had many problems to connect to remote servers, only set by trial and error. I forgot how I solved the problem last time (a year ago), but because the server was, I can access is more data - I suspect that this is a basic setting preventing laptop computer to interact with the service.

  • 10.3 with custom UUP jdbc connection problem

    Hello

I have create a UUP database custom and I am using a new JDBC data source called eipDataSource. Sometimes, when the SessionBean is going to connect to the database to retrieve the data of properties, I get the following error:

java.sql.SQLException: connection has already been created in this context of tx for pool named eipDataSource. An attempt illegal to create another pool: portalDataSource

It seems that the bean is trying to create a connection to the database of WLPS magazine rack, which I use NOT the UUP.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

The SessionBean is defined as follows:

    +@Session (ejbName = "EipPropertyManager") +.

    EipPropertyManagerRemote/public interface extends EntityPropertyManager {}

    Hello
Its been a long time, but I think that some access is always performed on the default EJB UUP (I think there was always an entry made in the table of the entity, even when you use custom UUP.
So I think that you need to specify a new Transaction for your method call, or you need to change the Transaction settings to your data source (and also that it is enclosure on) to imitate the two-phase commit (or use XA)
I remember hits something similar on the 8.1 but do not have access to what I did then.

I hope that people who have this problem in the future, you read this before you follow Ricky RockStars because he has mental health problems. After having seen his reply here and then others and it is how wildly incorrect, I did some research. I saw one of his messages on a forum from another site where he calls himself, "master of puppets" and he said he finds his answers on google. Dell isn't the only place to take responses at random to see if a stick, said. Apparently, he did that on ' yah * answers "and others, also. It is not a true expert, and instead of saying that he doesn't know, he barks just the random directions to try to solve problems or problems which can still be fixed, as it did here. He loves the power of the people who listen to him. He really has no idea what she's doing. He just googles your problem and tells you what it finds, as if he knew. The problem with is that if you have already done this, he will find the same wrong information makes you or even worse information as he did here. I saw a lot of his answers and about half are correct, 1/3 are wrong and just wasting peoples time, and the other 1/6 are harmful. Look at what happened here. He should have just said what I say below, but instead of that he had a back and forth for days because he loves control.  Seriously, I don't understand how Dell allows this to happen. It is everywhere in their forums, which gives bad advice, and using people as the 'puppets' in his weird game to control the actions of others.

    Here's the real answer:

Dell Vostro 3550 does not support WiFi 5 Ghz network connections. There is nothing you can do to address this problem in addition to changing the hardware (go out and buy a 5 GHz USB adapter).

  • Nook Color ereader & connectivity problems with router WRT610N

I recently bought a new Nook color ereader for my wife. As long as a network administrator, I thought that this would be an easy task to configure the ereader to connect with my Linksys WRT610N router on the 2.4 Ghz band. But I'm running problems when connecting. The question seems to have intermittent connection problems where the meals seem to see the wireless network, authenicates, tries to get an IP address, then connects for a short period or removes the signal very quickly while being right on top of the router with the device.

By the recommendations of various forums of Nook, I had the best luck with the following...

    2.4 Ghz band settings

    SSID: NookNetwork

    Channel width: 20 GHZ

    Standard channel: 9

    SSID Broadcast: enabled

    Security mode: WPA2 Personal

    Encryption: AES

    Passphrase: set out

    Key renewal: 3600

    UPNP: disabled

    RTS: default

    Defragmentation: default

    Tag: default

However, the problem still resides in an intermittent connection to the wireless network. I also tried various arrangements of the channel to both channels 1, 6 and 11 with my best cponnecting chance to channel 9. I also played with the security and disabled all together and have plugged but always file (will not however run the unsecured network). Also try a tag value of 75, a framework of fragmentation of 2306 and 2307 RTS setting. My computer laptop while run and connect properly.

I use the latest software updated both on the color of the corner. I am at the end and have searched high and low to get suggestions, and have not yet reached a compatible connection. Please help... Thank you! And my wife thank you in advance! Smiles!

  • Satellite A660 / 07P - problems with my browsers, internet connection

    Hey guys,.

    I just brought a Satellite A660 / 07P.
I have problems with my browsers, internet connection.

After a period of time (varies) my browsers stop to connect to internet.
Skype works fine, as does my download manager and other internet services.

When I run an internet system restore works again for a period of time, before picking up the handset.
I used this happens with all browsers (IE, Firefox and Chrome).

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Ry ~.

    Hi dude

    Skype works fine. Right?

This means that the laptop is connected properly to the router and the internet connection has been established successfully.
I think that a firewall can affect the functionality of the browser. Check the firewall settings.

In addition you should check if other installed 3rd party tools to affect the functionality of the browser.
    Verify installed tools

last but not least you could clean the operating system. Use the CCleaner.
    Free is nice tools.
