Without battery life blackBerry smartphones

I had my BlackberryBold for 2 years.  Now, the battery died within 4 hours. I use my Blackberry only as a phone, to send text messages and the "Safe Drive App". Nothing else. She is charged (or so he says) every night.  Does anyone else have this problem? / I still have 1 year on the contract with my ISP.

Li - ion batteries, which devices are BlackBerry use, are very reliable, but most smartphone batteries have a duration of about two years.  Since you say that your phone is two years old, I suggest that remove you your battery and get a new.

If you look at in these forums, you will find an article that details the steps to extend the life of your battery, but with the age of your battery, it might be just as well to replace.

I hope that helps you.

  • An other 'Wifi without data plan"blackBerry smartphones Question - Rogers Canada

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum and blackberries in general... Please bear with me.

I am a student. Currently, I have a voice plan base on a LG Xenon with Rogers in the Canada. It includes minutes and unlimited texting. Enough for me.

I am looking to buy a Blackberry Curve 3 G/9300 off someone. I just want to throw my SIM in there so I can use my normal plan with the phone. My understanding is that I can phone Rogers and tell them to block all data, if I get no charge on my Bill. Fine. However, I also understand that the 9300 is a wi - fi phone.

Let's say that I get the 9300, contact Rogers and tell them to block all data on my plan.
Can I still use my browser in a Wi - Fi hotspot? How should I do? (I know that I read somewhere that you need to configure to be about to access and not talkspot... If someone could help me with this that would be great).

Also, I read that, so that I am still able to use a wi - fi connection, I need to have data 'on' in the phone. If the data is 'on' in the phone, but I've blocked data with Rogers, can I still use a wi - fi connection? This would prevent the costs of data on my Bill?

In addition, I understand that I will not be able to receive multimedia messages without a data plan. Once again, if I'm in a wi - fi hotspot... Can I receive these messages from photos?

I'm sure it's a question very well known and well hated to you all and I'm really sorry to ask, but I just need some clarification. I don't want to be stuck with a big Bill with I ever intend on paying data charges. If someone could help me with this, I would really appreciate it.

    Thank you very much!

In addition, I understand that I will not be able to receive multimedia messages without a data plan. Once again, if I'm in a wi - fi hotspot... Can I receive these messages from photos? No only simple navigation cannot be made and Pandora can be used in mode Wi - Fi.

  • Low battery life blackBerry BlackBerry Z10 Z10.

My brand new z10 was meet some battery problems as I received it. The phone is only 4 hours old, and battery controller shows only 3 hours to 90%. Does anyone else have this problem and if so know how to fix? The unit would be defective?

This is data synchronization, you set up the device, etc., and that "left 3 hours" is from the immediate moment, while your device is under a heavy load on the processor.

You can not judge or accurately measure the battery life in the first 48 hours of putting in place a new mechanism, or after loading or upgrade a new OS.

  • Battery for blackBerry Smartphones potential problems

Yesterday, my BB8310 AT & T decided that he didn't like my battery.  The battery for some reason any got all swollen and distorted and almost dead.

The phone showed the battery with a red line through it.

Today, I went to a local AT & t store picked up an extra battery at a cost of $47.

He has been in charge for about an hour, but still, my phone won't turn on and shows this symbol.

P.S. The phone is only about 2 months, so I'm screwed for the new year and 10 months, or I do something wrong?

Warped and distended... as the battery was actually deformed? I think that your carrier should have replaced, free of charge.

    With your new battery:

Leave the appliance to charge 2-3 hours and then, always toujours relie connected to the USB cable, remove the battery from the camera a few seconds and plug it back. If it starts - let - the charges to 100% (check the Options > status for the percentage).

If it does not start - try using a wall charger if you're not. If you are connected via USB to the computer, make sure that you have Desktop Manager (or USB device drivers), you can download it below.

Does anyone have an experience with an extra battery? Questions: (1) if the accused, what is life? (2) this is a practical solution for low batt emergency situation?

    1. don't know, hard to say. It all depends on many factors... length, heat (heat exhaust the battery).

    2. very good solution. I keep one in My Briefcase, about once every two weeks, I have change the batteries from one to the other.

Another good solution is to get a car charger and all ten minutes here and there, top load.

  • Change battery for blackBerry Smartphones

I've had my Blackberry 9800 for almost 2 years now. The battery started to drain very quickly. I don't even use it and he will die in about 6 hours.

I have closed all other applications and I am trying to start my phone in SafeMode... with no luck at the moment.  I bought a new battery, Amazon because I can find the battery of my phone anywhere else.

My question is should I ignore the safe mode and put the new battery in? If so, is there a certain amount of time, I need to load or just until he says he ended up filling?

You can ignore Safe Mode and everything just put new battery on the right in the phone and go into Normal Mode. Once the battery, plug the phone to charge until it indicates a full charge, but make sure it is at least 15 minutes; any less than that and you just need to leave it plugged in for a few more minutes. You can use the phone when it is connected.

You have two years of your old battery which is what can be expected of a smartphone battery, so the problems you had with quick drainage were to be expected.

    See you soon.

  • Battery for blackBerry Smartphones Blackberry DIM 7250

A few years ago, I had a Blackberry 7250 SUN, & he recently out of limbo.

Onlline tried to answer the question I quue but found nothing with such a response.

So, here, I hope to find it, someone else.

The issue: Notice with electronic devices, there is some sort of indication about how long the charge lasts in the rechargeable battery.

What is the duration of the load last in the above-mentioned unit. Or, how longcan this version of phone battery last, before it needs to be charged again?

  • Problem with battery indicator blackBerry Smartphones

    Hello

my blackberry torch battery indicator is displayed continuously like a battery empty red even when it is fully charged:

It is said that the battery level is 1% since last night.

I tried to recharge as well to the wall and from the PC, the bolt flashes (on the Red battery icon), but the level remains at 1% and the orange light blinks.

After that what I believe is a sufficient time to fully recharge the battery, a "stopper" replaces the bolt flashing on battery (always red and empty) icon.

The phone, once unplugged the sector, works perfectly, the only complaint, is that the battery indicator is always red, it says 1%, and the orange light blinks continuously; so I never know when the phone needs to really be recharged.

Everyone knows the same problem? I don't think that the problem is in the battery, but somewhere in the software... suggestions?

    Thank you

    Hello again,

I thought I'd give an update I solved the problem! The only solution is to get a new device.

I tried many things, including not charging the phone at all until the battery really runs. In this case when I plugged it back I thought it worked well as it was very much in charge and the battery became white of empty Red... Unfortunately as soon as I unplugged the charger, the battery indicator is returned empty Red 1%.

I called my provider ad, they sent me another combined (still a 9800 torch); I put my battery in it, and it works perfectly.

  • I lost all my media files after removing the battery for blackBerry Smartphones

My employer asked me to remove the battery from the phone, as they had no trace of the IMEI no to my phone.

When I reinserted it all my media files - videos, sound time and pictures - were gone.

Again, I have all my contacts and continues to receive emails from work, so the phone had not been restored to preset.

I have never had a media card, so all the files are in the phone's memory, are they retrievable?

Now when I use the phone it wont let me not record a video as it is also no card inserted media. It wasn't a problem before.

Why the battery would cause the memory to wipe?

    can anyone help?

    The card is inserted correctly?
