  CS6 got since it was released; the full suite.

  I tried CC for a year but did not use the extra features were not prosecuted.

  HOWEVER, now I cannot open Photoshop CS6 - when I click to open it, a window CC subscription appears, me asking to renew my membership - I don't want to do - but if I click on close, then the window is closed and without Photoshop CS6.

  Other applications CS6 still works fine.

  Any suggestions on how to remove the link with CC and return to the use of CS6?

  I think that you still have your serial for CS6, key now when you see 'Renew your membership' prompt after the launch of CS6 find an option to sign in with a different account (Adobe ID). At that time on that you can register with your account no - CC as your adobe Id course is always associated with subscription suspended creative cloud (you can go to www.adobe.com and create a) and click "license this software ' on the dialog of the trial.   Whenever I use the text tool in PS, write a sentence, mark it and change something like the color, the size of font etc., the marked text disappears.

  You have the latest updates of photoshop cs6?

  You can use help > updates in photoshop cs6 to check if there is any.

  In addition, if you are going to help > System Info from within photoshop cs6, you can see the Version of Photoshop in the upper line.

  You should be on version 13.0.6

  PJBarbour I would recommend working with your IT Department to solve your network problems.  Aid and the trial license is only a workaround and do not solve the root cause to be able to download the Adobe Application Manager software.

  There are other offers available currently in the creative cloud, i.e. Adobe Edge and Lightroom, you need to download and install using the Adobe Application Manager to the licensed software.

  You can still use the preset in Camera Raw - quite simply, you have a Camera Raw filter in the menu of tax filers. That said, Raw files will always open in ACR, and you can set JPEG and TIFF images to open in ACR, if you want to, then you can apply your preset:

  

  In my previous answer, I mention setting ACR to open as smart objects in Photoshop you can change again once, if you wish. So that's all good solutions.

  I have problems with my installation of Photoshop CS6 extended 13.0. I have a large collection of fonts (more than 9000 - no joke) and Photoshop slows down bad whenever I do something that requires the use of the fonts/typing/text handling. I tried to disable the font previews. Photoshop is still too slow. I found a related thread and have additional questions about my situation:

  • Is there a way to mitigate the slowdown in Photoshop when something related to fonts?
  • Will be updated to the latest version of CS6 help? I should even try to update?
  • I have to reduce the number of fonts activated? If so, what is a good number to aim for?
  • Any advice on the management of fonts? The thread mentions Typekit - I do not have a full subscription to CC. Other tools of management of good police (preferably free) that you can recommend?

  9000 fonts?  How many people have you used last year?

  Not really sure what to tell you. Using a lot of fonts is a serious drain on system resources.  How long does Photoshop take to open?  Some time I think.

  TypeKit used to be a wonderful resource, but it has become very limited, if you only plan to photograph, and it would do precisely nothing to the management of your 9000 fonts.  Not a garbage.

  I used TypeDNA for awhile and well liked.
