without restoring the default start page address
I want to add the new home page of Firefox 13 for the Group of start pages. I don't want to do this restore by default and then have to add the current afterwards. This seems a simple question for me - just give me the address of this page. Without the address I just don't use it.
Hello, you can either open all the pages you want to have shown at startup in firefox, then go to firefox > options > general and click on "use current Pages" or manually add the default start page to the list. its address is "subject: House.

Restore the default Start Menu
Hello. I asked an unusual question that I didn't have an answer to and it intrigued me to search my curiosity got the best of me. So here goes.
How to restore the default Start Menu on the start of OS Windows XP and earlier versions? On the new operating systems, the options on the Start Menu has a button to do this, but XP and earlier does not work. I made lots and lots of research on the Internet and to my surprise, nobody ever showed how it could be done. (I will not say "never" but if its out there, the solution escaped me.)
Then someone wants to take a crack at it?

Hello Bill.
To restore the provision of your interface, go in view > toolbars > customize... > Restore Default Set.
If you don't see the menu bar, press ALT or F10 from your keyboard to make it temporarily visible. If you want it to be visible at all times, go in view > toolbars > Menu bar, or right click on the Navigation bar (for example, the Reload button), and then select menu bar.
If this does not help, right-click the navigation toolbar, select Customize... and click on restore by default. If it does not immediately appear, try pressing ALT or F10. You can enter in view > toolbars > Menu bar to make it visible at all times, or with the right button of the Navigation toolbar and select menu bar.
If none of this helps, you may have a problem with some Add on Firefox which is an obstacle to the normal behavior of your Firefox. Try to disable all add-ons (just to see) to see if Firefox goes back to normal.

I lost the Firefox start page, so can't access the Firefox tab. I get Ask, I want
For some reason, I started to get a type empty page, rather than the Firefox home page when I open firefox. White page has no tab of firefox at the top of the tab to the left so I can not access all the features of firefox. Also the white page does not show my favorite websites, which is a drawback. Whenever I type in a search word, the results come in a page of information promoted by "Ask" '. " I don't want to. I don't know how it happened, but I can't seem to find a solution. I uninstalled firefox and then reinstalled to see if it would work, but it didn't. Can anyone help please.

restore the default permission settings in vista
How to restore the default permission settings in Vista
I had problems sharing files and went to different media pages, mainly integrated ones. I changed the user permissions and tried to add the user on the Security tab, but I must have done something wrong. 128-bit encryption seems to be lost. Maybe it's that everything that triggers this file was transformed into a "read only" file (which has happened to another file, I've tried to share). Any help will be appreciated.
Hello
To reset security settings back to default, take a look at the following article:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/313222
- Click the ball to Start .
- Under Search, type cmdand press ENTER.
- Type the following command, and then press ENTER:
secedit/configure /cfg %windir%\inf\defltbase.inf/db defltbase.sdb / verbose
You receive a "task is completed" message and a warning message that something was impossible. You can ignore this message.

FireFox always starts in the FireFox start page no matter what I do
I went through all the forums I find and tried everything suggested, but I still can't get FireFox to open to about: blank. I went through the subject: config and changed the start page repeatedly in the Options section and deleted a user.js file, but it's a no-go. Whenever I start FF I get the FF start page. Spybot and MalwareBytes didn't report any problems. I am at a total loss, why this is happening.

Note: Some software, like Advanced SystemCare with surf Protection, can protect the files in the folder of Firefox profile against the changes. If you have this software, then check the settings or uninstall this software.Favorite and use this.
Download the Mozilla search reset {web link}
This module is very simple: when installing, it backs up
and then resets your search and home page preferences
at their default values and then to uninstall. This
affects the search bar, search bar URL, and the home page. -
There seems to be a MAJOR problem (blocking/memory leak) in "subject: House", also known as start up Firefox, 26.0 Firefox Page, Windows!
seen on:
-Windows 7 x 64 machine with 12 GB of RAM and high performance CPU (core i7-920)
-Comments Machine virtual WinXP SP3 (in Oracle VirtualBox) running on the same computer
-Intel Atom D525 netbook with 4 GB of RAM, running Win7 x 64None of these machines are connected through Sync or something like that. The Firefox instance on the virtual machine is a fresh install / clean.
The problem:
-100% of cpu usage for 10 seconds, (util in XP) memory usage goes up to 1.7 GB
-If "subject: House" is actually the Firefox Start Page, it blocks the computer at startup of Firefox for 10 seconds
-If "subject: House" isn't the Firefox Start Page, startup is fine - BUT if I press the "home" on the toolbar button it loads "on: House" which causes the same question once againSounds that there is a problem with one of the code snippets that are responsible. I've seen several reports on this issue.
You can set the browser.aboutHomeSnippets.updateUrl pref an empty string on the subject: the page of config to disable loading (new) checked to see if that helps.
You can open the topic: config page through the address barYou must remove the ' storage\moz-security-about + origin "folder in the folder of Firefox to delete already profile stored clips.
You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:
- Help > troubleshooting information > profile directory: see file (Linux: open the directory;) Mac: View in the Finder)

I can't get rid of the Firefox start page even if I continue to put in my own home page.
Suddenly, earlier today, the Firefox start page appears when I open Firefox. I tried several times to return to my own homepage through TOOLS, OPTIONS or by drag-and - drop. Whenever I get close and reopen, it comes back to its own Start Page for Firefox. I don't want to, I want my own hpmepage.
Hey Hey,
Try the following:
(1) go to Subject: config (type in the address bar).
(2) enter.
(3) search browser.startup.homepage.
(4) this variable controls what page is loaded when you start Firefox.
If its value is Subject: Home, you can change this value on the site that you want to load at startup. If not, try this:

Have you checked the target line in the properties of the desktop Firefox shortcut?
What is the start setting?
Tools > Options > General > Startup: "When Firefox Starts": "Show my windows and tabs from last time" "Show my home page" "Show a blank page"
================
To change this Web site, it opens when you open a new tab, do the same thing but with browser.newtab.url.

Malcolmy
If you want Firefox to start when you start your computer, you can add a shortcut of Firefox in the startup of Windows XP folder.
- Click Start > programs, then right-click on the startup folder and choose open.
- In the start window, go to the file menu and choose new > shortcut.
- In the dialog box, click the Browse button to specify the program Firefox, by default it is located here - C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe
- After you have specified the path of the program, click Next and finish. You will then see a firefox shortcut in the startup folder.

NH-1005 ver 2.2 hub allows you to restore the default settings
OK, I have a worm hub 2.2 NH 1005 that I used a little more than six months, and I need your advice on restoring the default settings.
the web-based configuration page can be accessed through 192.168.2.1 on IE, but my step son was trying to fix the nat definition for its xbox 360 (not so hard to do...) and changed the settings under remote management to turn off. now, it is not possible to connect to access based on the Internet web page.
is there another way? Is there a restore defaults button in the web page, but no button or other basis on the hub itself. any advice, other than to get rid of it and replace?
So in this case you should check the settings of your DSL modem. Like most of the DSL modem has a built-in DHCP server. Then maybe you lose connectivity to your modem DSL itself.
As your HUB is a dumm device and it dosent have any parameters, or you can reset your HUB. Only, you can make a normal feeding cycle and which will not solve the problem.
