WMP 12 error C00D11B1: False positve?

Hello

Windows Media Player 12 has recently begun displaying the C00D11B1 'Windows Media Player has encountered a problem reading the file' error AFTER playback of music files. After playing all music files in the list now plays without problem, the error icon (red and white x circle) appears next to the last file in the playlist during playback ends. The file with the games of stills 'mistake' without problem when I double-click on it.

Quite boring. Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

Appreciate your help

Hello again,

Well, I solved the problem. But first, let me to you humour with my trip colored solution.

First of all, I ran the System File Checker utility. He did his thing, but still the error came.

Then I disabled and then re-enabled WMP in the menu "Turn Windows features on or off". It's when things are interesting. When I disabled it WMP it has messed up something with my current theme. I lost all the 'Aero experience. The theme itself changed the style of base color for a reason any.

So, I decided to use the system to 'restore' my laptop restore. More fun and games here... Guarded system restore return an error. It was impossible to completely restore my system files. Apparently Tamper Protection of Norton 360 was interfering with the system restore. My Norton 360 was also corrupted somehow so now I have to reinstall or something.

And then I remembered how WMP11 gave me a weird problem with Windows XP because of the improvements. So I tried to turn off the most recent development that I had activated in WMP12.

Here is the solution... It seems that the improvement of the 'transition' was causing the error. Turn it off solved the problem. I also noticed that the increase of the interval of a transition to high values like 9 to 10 seconds produces the error. Sometimes the values also produced the error, but I can conclude safely that fade-chained shooting off treaty problem.

Dear Mr. Gates, please add this item to the Microsoft Knowledge Base. :) xD

  • WMP 11 error c0011b1 - .wmv files no longer play

I am running XP SP3, which has recently updated to WMP 11.  Can play is no longer the .wmv videos. The error message sent me to a web page with the error C00D11B1 and suggests that the audio drivers are up to date.  No update is available for this computer and other audio programs as iTunes works fine.

All of the 'solutions' I found do not change anything.  I tried "backward" WMP 10 and who fails.  I also tried to install a free video player, who also will not play video files.  Any ideas?

  • Error C00D11B1 in Windows Media Player 12

Hi, I get an error C00D11B1 in Media Player 12 whenever I try to stream video to my laptop from my desk at home, on the internet. Media Player has been perfectly fine streaming for about a month. last night I watched a video and then started another and get the error C00D11B1. I tried several solutions, I don't have a DisableProtectedAudioDG in my registry file, I tried to create the file and change its value to 1, uninstall and reinstall the audio drivers, deactivation and reactivation of media player, check my hard disk for errors, update my DRM and making an error check on the windows media player settings. At this point, I am at a complete loss since I went through all the solutions I found.

My laptop, which I'm sinking in, is a Sony Vaio Z and the office, I'm currently broadcast from East selfbuilt on an ASUS motherboard and an AMD processor. It was, recording and video playback fine for the past year and is still able to play all the videos I want to broadcast.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Yeap.

    Finally found.

The problem are corrupt DLL files.

1 you will need another computer with Windows 7 installed (make sure if you edition)

You will need to run "sfc/scannow", but that it will not set it for you automatically, you will need to do it yourslef.

    2. Once you run sfc/scannow, open C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. and search for "mismatch of actual file".

    C:\Windows\System32\connect.dll are not real file [l:22 {11}] "connect.dll"
C:\Windows\IME\IMESC5\DICTS\PINTLGB. IMD is not actual file [l:22 {11}] "PINTLGB. IMD.
    C:\Program may Explorer\ie9props.propdesc
    C:\Windows\System32\chsbrkr.dll are not real file [l:22 {11}] "chsbrkr.dll"
    C:\Windows\SysWOW64\WMVCORE. DLL
... it will be in 5-10 of those.

If you right click and go to properties on each of these files, you will notice that these files on the other computer will be "Microsoft" in the file "details" your and your files will not. This means that they are corrupt.

    3. copy these files from your computer in Windows 7, another. (I used my sons computer)

These are corrupted system files, so you'll have to unlock and change permissions before updating.  Use this link:

    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/how-to-delete-a-system-file-in-Windows-Vista/

There is nothing wrong with the config or registry, it's a lot of broken EXE and DLL files. (virus or something)

Once this is done, it will work fine now. (you don't even have to restart it.)

I also corrected other problems with this method, I could not access network tab in my WMP 12.

Tools-> Options-> network. (whenever I tried to push on the network TAB it just does not open).
If this solution works not only for those who has problems with streaming, but also to those who have problems with access to the network tab, etc.

He has also worked for my "set up a new connection or network", because my C:\windows\system32\connect.dll was broken.

  • Error of false paper jam in Deskjet 5940

I use a Deskjet 5940 with Mac OS 10.7.4 on an iMac. It does not print, and when I check the printer queue box, it says "There is a paper jam." But there is no jam. I use this printer only for envelopes, and I checked carefully. Took apart. It will work with either plain paper. I get no response from the forum except for points applicable to the all-in-one and the same of Google searches. It's like this simple type of printers is not false jams. Checked the manual, of course, but he treats that how to fix real paper jams.

    Hello Hazelg,

Sometimes, paper jams can be true or false. Sometimes a reset can solve recurring false paper jams. Try the following steps. I'm also including some information about the prevention of recurring paper jams, which may be useful. Good luck!

First step: perform a power reset

  • Z6200ps 94:01 error (but false reading...)

    Hey!

So my printer is to launch 94,01 saying the White Paper came out when I try to update the profile for this media, I've used and profiled before.

Something goes well, considers only the White Paper came out. Some additional info:

-l' printer prints very well if I add a space at the cutting edge of the image. no color banding, precise, no problem printing from InDesign)

-l' printer can not profile all media because of this problem

-l' calibration of paper feed has been successfully

-defective print heads have been replaced

    -Encoder cleaned

    -new ink cartridges installed

-prints well, it is impossible to create/update the paper because of this problem profiles

Possible cause: a person responsible for the paper in the printer incorrectly causing a traffic jam under the print heads. He was released and fine print. Recently, text became blurry, so I performed the task of maintenance of image quality. I tried to update the paper profiles, and now I'm stuck here. It seemed that damaged jam some print despite the printer heads saying they were ok, the test print says otherwise. So, I replaced the still, and here we are. A printer that prints well but cannot be calibrated. I don't think that the spectrophotometer is damaged because the printer can read the table of calibration misaligned. I don't think that the print heads are borked because it always prints without bands based on the obsolete previuous calibrations. But there must be more parts in the car of print head that I don't know who could be the cause. Or... is it just the firmware? I'll update when I find, but all the assumptions are appreciated.

    Keep your firmware updated
