.wmv cut in half horizontally inside Premiere Pro, AE, Media Encoder...

Hi all! I'm having a problem with the help. WMV in AE, Premiere Pro and Media Encoder. Whenever I open the picture in a sequence or the source window, the image is cut in half horizontally (see photo below). I brought in a MP4 and had no problem so for now, I think I've narrowed to strictly a. Problem WMV. The file plays perfectly fine in real time; sounds great, photo (from what I can see) seems good; Miss me just the top of half of all hehe to WMV file. I tried the WMV inside AE as well but that you have the same problem. I also tried to export WMV with Media Encoder but it exports the WMV cut in half any format I said the file conversion to...

My Premiere Pro, AE and Media Encoder are perfectly up-to-date; My 660 it from Nvidia is up-to-date; I just installed latest Windows 7 codec package; Just installed Windows 7 x 64 new updates.

Also, it is a great note... It is the first time I used the first Pro/AE/Media Encoder on this system. I just built this PC about 1 month ago and have had 0 problems with it other programs (Photoshop, 3ds max, etc...) I recently installed first, AE, Media Encoder on it and am running on this problem on my first start of first/AE/Media Encoder.

My system specs are displayed below the photo and file specs.

The photo below shows my configuration and the question that I have. Finding Nemo video on the left is the. MP4 (file specifications are below) and the video on the right is the. WMV in question (also sheet below).

  • How the hell do you export to MPEG-2DVD in Premiere Pro & or Media Encoder?

I'm having the same problem persisted in first Pro CS5.5. I can't export a sequence on as encode a MPEG-2dvd in Premiere Pro, nor as a 2dvd MPEG in the media. I even tried encode the file as an AVI file and then take the AVI file and convert it to a MPEG-2dvd in media encoding. No dice. The file with what I'm doing all this is a sequence of 26 minutes on the earlier chronology, so it's no pig space and data. It is originally a MPEG-1 file. I get the error both Adobe premiere and adobe media encoder can don't not reads the m2v.xmpses files. I already understand that they broke in separate files, with the m2v in there like the video, the audio file that represents the audio and the xmpses containing the metadata, but these files are not separated in my experience with this problem. the m2v.xmpses is a file, and it can not be separated. Ive been told that these files are separate streams which must be "multiplexed" together in a single workable file. How do you do that?

Thanks in advance to anyone who tries to solve these problems.

Please specify your workflow. If you work with NTSC, then your sequence should be 720 x 480 DV, to match what the DVD will be. From the first, use file > export > Media. Choose MPEG-2 DVD format and for the preset, choose NTSC high quality for example (for 4:3). Export.

    You get 3 files - clipname.m2v, clipname.wav and clipname.xmpses

In Encore, use the IMPORT AS TIMELINE and select only the m2v and wav files, but NOT the file xmpses. Still will know where to look for the xmpses and will pull in chapter markers, NOT to import this file or do something with it.

  • Premiere PRO and Media Encoder does not load

    My problems...

Went to edit video in Sony Vegas today for the first time since the upgrade to Windows 10. Everything was going well until I tried to make the video and then it crashed. Spending 5 + hours on it until Sony told me to reset the settings by pressing ctrl-shift, as I double clicked. Then, it will not load.

Is upset in Vegas and purchased Premiere PRO thinking it would work.

During the installation of Premiere PRO, he said that I had to run a "limited access" to remedy. I ran the tool, but it crashed, so I ran it again and after a very long time 'does not' he said it fixed 0 problems.

But the installer is more said that I needed it, so he must have done something.

So I tried to throw the first, but it froze at the place where it says something like "Loading EncoderAvi.prm" and trying to load the Media Encoder, it does the same thing.

I tried to restart the computer and try again. Now it is not yet come to that, the loading splash appears but nothing happens and he sits forever.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

Finally I thought of her. It's the AVI Codec. Specifically, it was Matrox VFW. I went to "Add & Remove Programs" and uninstalled Matrox and it fixed all the issues I had with Sony Vegas and Premiere PRO.

I guess that Matrox does not work with Windows 10, or is not necessary. I think I've installed read Matrox video files a long time ago.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm really glad I avoided the nuclear option to format and reinstall. Would take weeks to get things back.

  • Performance inside Premiere Pro (search for the new GPU)

    Hey everybody,

I do a lot of green overlay inside After Effects with the Keylight plugin. Then I pass this comp to Premiere Pro where I do the editing. I really like this workflow, but my system has trouble reading the images in real time inside Premiere Pro. I must point out that I work with the Lumix GH4 in 4K (native). Here is a list of my current hardware:

    • CPU: Intel i7 3930 k (3.2 Ghz, 6 hearts)
    • Memory: 8GBDDR Crusial 1600 Mhz (x 4 = 32 GB total RAM)
    • Scratch disk: WD 7200 RPM in a RAID5 configuration
    • Application disc: Crusial M4 SSD
    • GPU: Gainward GTX580 3 GB

Far as I can tell I think that fixed problem is at the limit of my GPU software. So my question is, this will help to invest in a "GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 760 4 GB"?

    Thanks in advance,

    Jordy

You can use the Ultrakey inside the first. It's accelerated gpu and therefore very fast. For editing, the quality should be good enough and for the final touch, just send the clip to ae.

  • Premiere Pro - insufficient Media error - please help!

    Hello world!

I work in Adobe Premiere Pro (CS3), taken 3-thirty-second video clips and putting them together with a soundtrack to a video 01:30 background with music.

I am applying a short cross fader for each of the video clips. When I do, I get an error message that it is insufficient and some media executives will be repeated.

It is a mystery to me, because each of the thirty-second clips is significantly longer than the melted transition met.

The transitions seem to play very well in the first, but do not seem to appear in any rendering up to now (I tried .avi, .wmv and .mov)

Any idea why I get this error and how can I fix the problem?

My clips are longer than my passage in terms of duration.

I there a way I can 'Add' manages?

The duration of the Clips is long enough, but aren't your handles. These are 'created' when you set the Points In & Out on the Clip.

If your Clip has a small triangle to the head, or tail, which means that there are zero frames as handles. Reset the Points In & Out to get the handles.

    Good luck

  • Premiere Pro for media... files questions

I'm looking to create a very simple video I would have done once in iMovie - less than 5 video clips, transition 3 and an audio file. However, I have problems of color that I can not find a solution despite the different export settings for.

When rendering, the file looks like as it should. After export, or when, in another part of Pr, gets file all blackened red, green, yellow and sometimes purple. It is sometimes boxes, sometimes it is bars. Export an image works as it should (see first photo). As long as the file is selected, made, or playing in Premiere Pro, the color is correct.

Of course, I tried to restart the program and my computer updated (it has no update), Google search, reverse image looking for similar problems, creating new sequences, all the effects of compensation, all I can think to reset reset and clear the cache. Not a clue.

Any ideas? I have attached a few screencaps. I regularly work on a deadline, so it's really frustrating. I hate to disappoint anyone - I told them, these videos would be 8 hours ago, but here I sit, finding nothing on the forums.

  • Adobe first Pro and Media Encoder

    Hello

IM really new video and need a DVD of what I did.  I was following this Adobe page: using Adobe Premiere Pro | Export to DVD or Blu - ray disc .  I got to the step that says: Choose file > Adobe Dynamic Link > Send to still I chose all my gear in my project of Prime Minister, went to the found file, Adobe Dynamic Link and grayed - out cannot click on it.  I don't know why it's directions to Adobe when still isn't a current application for them from what I can tell.  It is not in their app list when I look to the top of their CC applications.  They encode which is what I am using, but I don't know how to use it and I'm not finding the information I need.

My end result needed: a DVD that can be played on a DVD player.  That's all.  I'll be very grateful for good info on this.

    Thank you.

  • What screen recording software (Win8) is compatible with Premiere Pro?

What should I do to save my screen to Win8 and edit video in Premiere Pro? I spent 16 hours trying to date, only to find the screen-recorders which crash so he was trying to save my screen, and other recorders who write successfully SWF and FLV files, who refuse to Premiere Pro and Media Encoder to import. Then, how did I spend, on what product to cut my losses and get on with that? Thank you.

Many people here use Camtasia... I did a few years back, and I think it will work. What you need is a constant-frame-rate program, instead of the variable rate using many screen capture programs.

  • Export of media in Premiere Pro CS6 ONLY produces an Audio file in Media Encoder

First of all, all the System Info:

Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1

Intel HD Graphics 3000 graphics card

    I use the first Pro CS6 Version 6.0.5 (001 (MC: 264587)) «Mighty Kilt»

    Version 6.0.3.1 (64-bit) Adobe Media Encoder cs6

Other Adobe applications: AIR, creative cloud, Download Assistant, Encore CS6 Library, 12 ActiveX of Flash Player, Flash Player Plugin from 12, Manager help, Premiere Pro CS6, Premiere Pro CS6 functional Content, reader XI

I ran on Premiere Pro and Media Encoder updates and everything is up-to-date

I produce a two disc double layer DVD for 100 families of my sons of fanfare.

I have half an hour "masterpiece" of interviews, segments of performance, rehearsal sequences, credits, etc. that I edited complete set with sound, etc.

I also have various other video segments of the season, a high quality (1920 x 1080) and a decline in quality.

Rather than import in yet and have yet to transcode all the same quality, I wanted to make sure the piece of half an hour and some other segments were transcoded in highest possible quality and given the large size of the files that I could and then transcode other segments at lower levels of quality as it is necessary so all the space on the disks.

The company I use to duplicate/replicate the 100 DVDs of my DVD Master advised me to encode them FIRST in Premiere Pro as you wish and THEN import these files into yet.

I used Adobe Media encode a lot to export the individual segments in the files, I could upload it to Youtube and have had no problems for several months.

    But now, two things happen:

    (1) SOUL automatically designates the file 'exit' with an extension .aac (see table)

    (2) when I do a file "import under" soul encoded in still won't load an audio file (obviously)

    Huh?

Here are the settings I use in my export media dialog in Premiere Pro CS6:

    Format: MPEG2-DVD

    Screening: NTSC widescreen high quality

Out of name (and the file type): _ name with like kind of video Files (*.mpg) «»

Boxes to "Export video" so much "Export Audio" is checked (see attached screen print)

The filters tab: on the left as is, don't do anything here

    Multiplexer tab:

    • Click on the button "DVD" (vs. the "None" button)
    • Bitrate type: left as Variable that matches what is selected by default

    Video tab:

    • Codec: Reads MainConcept MPEG video
    • Quality: increase it up to 5
    • TV standard: NTSC
    • Frame rate: 29.97
    • Field order: no (progressive)
    • Pixel Aspect ratio: screen 16:9 wide
    • Go to maximum depth box checked
    • Encoding Bitrate: I choose CBR for my high quality segments and VBR 2 pass for my segments of lower quality
    • Bitrate: kick up to max to high quality segments, adjust as required to obtain the size of the file that I want for my lower segments of quality

    Audio tab:

    • Audio format: Dolby Digital
    • Codec: Dolby Digital
    • Bitrate: 320 at least, sometimes higher for segments, I want to be the highest quality

I check the box of "quality to make Maximum usage.

I chose 'Tail' for everything and then let it run all night

And Yes, the original media has TWO a video track and audio track that works (see screenshot)

So... What am I doing wrong, useful experts?

A - ha! MPEG2 export formats missing in the SOUL is the key to the riddle. You have a license problem, possibly the one discussed here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4401451.

I'm not familiar with this issue and has not taken the time to read the pages that links Todd to-instead, I wanted to get the link for you as soon as POSSIBLE. If you have a problem directly solving the problem, I see two immediate options: 1) encode "in-process" by Premiere Pro by clicking 'Export' in the dialog box export settings (as opposed to the queue, which of course sends the job of the SOUL), or 2) to install the trial version of CC (aka 7.x).

  • AE freeze for a while during the passage of Premiere Pro using dynamic linking

    Hello

I use Premiere Pro with dynamic links to AE constantly. In this particular computer I had it for 3 months without any problem. A few days ago began almost every time I change first Pro AE (CMD + Tab), a little bit at the beginning and now, a LOT of freezing. It takes several minutes for AE start working again.

Looking at activity monitor the % CPU for AE when this happens is over 100 and often red (not admissible). Time range from 10 seconds to several minutes. I work with this constantly so I have to be able to move quickly from one to the other.

Some details of what I am working with:

    OS X Yosemite 10.10.3

iMac (retina 5K, 27 inches, end of 2014)

4 GHz Intel Core i7 processor

    32 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 memory

    Graphics AMD Radeon R9 M295X 4096 MB

First Pro CC 2014.2 Version 8.2.0 Build (65)

After effects CC 2014.2 Version 13.2.0.49

I tried to uninstall and re-installation of AE, Premiere Pro and Media Encoder (in desperation) and the recommendations of Adobe support I run repair permission to drive on the boot drive, as well as through all the permissions in disk for all the Adobe folders and subfolders... No use, it keeps freezing like I use it. Memory RAM remains a good 20-25 GB when this happens. I'm running out of options.

Any ideas what could be the cause and what I could try to fix it?

    Very appreciated

I found the problem. HAVE nothing to do with the files, but with the huge amount of compositions that are related to the time wherever I have reach about 30 or so it starts to slow down.

Solution, keep the compositions related to various projects of the AE. Works like magic again. Thanks for the help anyway!

  • When I try to launch the Premiere Pro CS6 I get dynamiclinkmanager quit unexpectedly

And first Pro CC launches ever. And the dynamiclinkmanager window keeps coming, to the point that I can't do anything else that the window just keeps going forward. CS6 all works perfectly well.

I'm on a MacPro 4,1 running 10.8.4 with 24 GB of RAM and a NVIDIA GTX 670 PC graphics card.

And honestly nothing works in the creative cloud. Adobe Media Encoder closes instantly. Adobe Photoshop seemed to open up, but force has sent me to this web page Forms http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/membership/index.cfm?nf=1 & nl = 1 & productID = 598 & release = 1.0 & flat = 2 & local = en_US & source = PCSNOTIF who reads 413 header length too large and it freezes and starts the cycle of dynamiclinkmanager leave again. Illustrator says unable to print the illustration. Full disk error has occurred while it is printing, and then quit.

I got bridge cc to start, and that's all.

I tried the last thing I could think, reseting my directory permissions and acl using the command restore partition and the provider's ResetPassword (it really is too easy to reset your password!). It was a pain that I had to share my video card to do, but it's this morning and got the Premiere Pro and Media Encoder to open received. Failed. Download the first running with my video care Yes, as it seems there is a new CUDA driver and I don't have the time.

Photoshop opens as well, but when I tried to import my preferences old I got the same error message as above, but it worked eventually.

Keep test tonight when I get home.

  • Problems with Premiere Pro CS6 and Media Encoder

I have been using Media Encoder for months with Premiere Pro, but he has recently stopped working. It gets stuck trying to connect to the dynamic link and then fails.

I tried to solve this problem for a while following the instructions online and I could have screwed up things. Is there a way to uninstall Premiere Pro and Media Encoder completely so I can reinstall them?

I have a creative cloud subscription.

    First, select help > deactivate...

Then just uninstall as usual.  After that, run the Script of cleaning of Adobe.  Restart and reinstall.
