Word of Web page search

I'm on Safari 9.0.1.

It was that I could find the number of times where a word appeared on a web page and be taken to their location by typing the word in the url and using a function called something like "Find on this page" Well, it seems to have disappeared just after a recent update. I used all the time and would like to know if it's just been moved. why I can't imagine. anyone?

Kind regards, Graham.

F command (or Edit menu > find > find...) will do.

  • Distorted words in Web pages and the desktop appear after viral infection cleaned

I'm very technologically challenged, so I hope someone can help me.  Computer turned on the other day and some of the words are fragmented, both online and with the saved documents.  The entire page is not affected, but several words have the appearance to be "sliced" in 1/2 and the words are out of the game.  In my e-mails, some are perfectly fine, others are not.  I have McAfee and it found 3 viruses, but he stated that the problems have been fixed/fixed.  My computer is right for?

    Hello Laura,

In addition to the previous questions, I was curious to know if you have updated your drivers to view the your manufacturer's Web site.

If this isn't the case, you can certainly give that a try.

In addition, I noticed that there are viruses on the system.

It is concerns me because you can never really know the extent of the damage they did prior to the withdrawal.  Please take note of the comments on this link:

  • Someone had problems with Firefox 13.1 while scrolling of web pages

While most but not all of the words scrolling Web page get nervous and fuzzy. This same thing happened on version 13. I had no problem with 12 or those in front of her.

Someone decided to turn on the "smooth scrolling" in Firefox 13, and that could be the problem. Try turning off here:

Orange Firefox button or classic menu Tools > Options > advanced

In the mini ' General' tab, uncheck the box for "Use smooth scrolling".

You may need to restart Firefox for it to take full effect. Does that help?

  • Search for a word in a Web page

    Hello

I have a little problem on the search in a web page.

Without worrying to highlight what is useful in all software, how can I search for a word in a Web page?

I mean imagine in windows, through the web page, you need to find the word "except", if you come to use the Toolbox in the browser and type except to indicate each word "except" in this page and highlight it. Is there a similar option for safari for Mac too?

F command should do what you want. -AJ
