  • Want to change the WordPad default values for font size and line spacing

    I use WordPad quite heavily because it is simple and fast.  But the new version of W - 7 seems to not allow you to change the default values for the font, size and line spacing.  The default values are not suitable for a large part of what I do and I'd like to find a way of quickly and easily, either make the changes permanent or change this to open with a single click of mouse or at most two.  Any suggestions?

    It is the "best" solution to workaround.  After you change your Default.rtf custom, simply move it to your system32 directory and add the "Default.rtf" at the end of the location of your target on the property sheet for your file WordPad.exe.

    Every time that you open its default location in the directory c:\program files\windows NT\Accessoires WordPad.exe, it defaults to now your Default.rtf custom.

    How can I change spacing of double room to single space?

    I tried.  I changed the line spacing of 1.5 to 1, but it made no difference.  I also highlighted the text and hold the Ctrl and 1 keys at the same time, as suggested elsewhere.  None of these things worked.  My laptop runs Windows 8 operating system.  What now?

  • How can I change the default settings of the line spacing in Word Pad to: unique, space no space after a paragraph

    I need to change the default line spacing values to: simple space and NO space after a point, but it doesn't seem to be a way for that.
    Thanks for the tips.

    Press Ctrl + A to select your entire file, and then click the paragraph Options (the button at the bottom right in the paragraph on the Home tab group).  Uncheck "Add 10pt space after paragraphs."

    To create new documents this setting is already selected, follow these steps:
    1 - Create a new empty file, then follow the steps above to disable the spacing option.
    2 - save the file in the folder C:\Windows\ShellNew with a file name as "new WordPad file.
    3 - follow the steps on this support page to create a link from the context menu to create a new file based on this template: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/140333
    4. whenever you want to create a file with this option already set, just right-click on your desktop or in a folder and choose New > WordPad file.
  • Manage the line spacing in Outlook Express 6 to compose messages

    Line spacing in Outlook Express 6 seems to be "unmanageable" when including the text of the answer from someone else. Here is the situation - I type a message, and I copy and paste a section of a previous message that someone else wrote.

    My messages have single spacing, but the other message has double-spaced. Everything I type after copy/paste requires spacing of this piece.

    Let's say I want it to have line spacing all simple. How can I change the line spacing?

    A simple way to get rid of formatting is to copy (or cut) the text in a text editor, such as Notepad and then cut of this application and pick up in your message.

  • Is there a button auto double text line spacing?

    Hello!  I am writing a manuscript which is to be presented with text double-spaced.  While I have not physically go through all 40,000 words and insert another space is a button or function I can use to do this for me?
    Your help is much appreciated, thank you!
    TAM

    Hi Tam,

    Writing a manuscript is identical to any work published, the extra space is required between the 'lines' no letters.

    You don't say which application processing, you use to type your manuscript in. If you use Microsoft Word then, Yes, there is a button that will double space your lines for you.

    If you use Word 2007 I suggest you open your manuscript, and then press CTRL + A (that is, hold CTRL on your keyboard down and press A. This will select 'all' your text. Then go to the Ribbon of the toolbar (make sure that the Home tab is selected) and click the button that has lines on it and one up and down (this is located next to the button text justification and the trainer of paint (paint can)). Click on it and select 2.0 your lines will be double spaced throughout your manuscript now.

    If you use Word 97 or 2003, then you will find the key to line spacing on the formatting toolbar (it is the one with the police, the font size, bold, italic, thereon). Once again, the button is right next to the Justification button. The procedure of double spacing is the same as Word 2007.

  • Reformatting line spacing in Windows Mail

    All of a sudden, when I composed an e-mail message in Windows Mail and press enter, double spaces. It's never happened before and I don't know how to reformat the line spacing to give me only spacing when I hit the button enter. Does anyone have a solution or a fix?

    In a message to format HTML, enter often means 'new paragraph', which should be typed.  Try holding Shift when you press ENTER.  Often, this means 'new line '. Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook]

  • How can I change the line spacing?

    I looked everywhere to find how I can change the line spacing in my e-mail address when sending. Can't find any dishes. CAM help me?

    The answer is probably some handmade css coding which is not a trivial thing to do.

    Why you want to change the line spacing? A larger or smaller font would be useful for you?

    Hello

    That's what I feared. This kind of banding appears in images when using normal paper for use with low quality settings. You can try to increase the quality of the prints or try using photo paper.

    A good document to make booklets with photos is the HP brochure and flyer. (C6818A)

    How to make the default text size and line spacing in small Sticky Notes

    Hello

    I suggest that you try the method below and check if it helps.

    Method 1: analysis of auditor of file system (CFS)

    System File Checker is a Windows utility that allows users to find corruptions in Windows system files and restore the damaged files. To perform a scan of the SFC, check out the link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929833.

    Note: the steps for Windows 8/8.1, works perfectly with Windows 10.

    Method 2: clean boot

    A clean boot is executed to start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This will eliminate software conflicts that occur when you install a program, an update or when you run a program in Windows. Follow the link to perform the clean boot: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929135.

  • Point homescreen today line spacing

    I'm trying to create a simple today more home screen for my Storm2.  Everything works fine, except that I can't figure out how to change the line spacing for the homepage screen today items such as elements of Message, calendar items, etc., which would pass the each of the individual Articles in each category as close together vertically.  I can change the font, but I can't resize the mounting frames.  I thought that is going to change the line spacing.  I've seen themes that have a different line spacing, so I think that this is possible, but I can't seem to find how do in theme Builder.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you much in advance.

    Edit: I use the 5.0.0.34 Theme Builder to create a theme for 95XX device.

    If you create one today by using the standard today model, then just change the font size to kind of work.  If you start a custom theme, you can adjust the vertical spacing then depends on the size of the caret.  I just created a new carat size of the font, that I wanted to, or you can just do a transparent .png of 1 x 1 pixel and use as your circumflex accent and that will solve your vertical spacing problems.  So, if you want really tight and small.  Start a custom style theme, and add the items today that you want, then circumnavigate caret.

    Hope that helps.

  • Problems with line spacing - not able to adapt

    Having some problems with line spacing - I work in a file that I've not been created.  The phenomenon that occurs is as follows: I have a block of text, when I increase or decrease the foreground one point at a time, nothing happens. As I continue to increase, the line of text will suddenly blow up about a quarter of an inch.

    For example, I 8.5pt type whose main value to auto (10.2) - I hit increases by increments of 1 point, the line does not, only when I get to 13pt we must answer and bumps up to about 1/4 in. I continue to increase by increments of 1 point 13, and line does not respond until I reach 25pt, how the line of bumps down on another 1/4 of an inch.

    This could be the cause?

    It's not downtown... The text is printed to line up on the starting grid.

    I want to filter and search bar a little smaller.

    Is it possible to reduce the filling of the search bar and filter?

    If the 9 pixels he saves are critical, so of course:

    .a-IRR {
      border: none;
    }
    .a-IRR-toolbar,
    .a-IRR-controls {
      padding: 0;
    }
    .a-IRR-table {
      border-collapse: collapse;
      border-left: 1px solid #e6e6e6;
      border-right: 1px solid #e6e6e6;
    }
    .a-IRR-headerLabel,
    .a-IRR-headerLink {
      padding: 2px 4px;
    }
    .a-IRR-table td {
      padding: 1px 4px;
