  This is my first post here, yesterday I received my new BB Curve 8900 from T-Mobile. I spent some time playing with the phone yesterday and of course I have a few questions.

  I chose to do not to get the data plan from T-Mobile for two reasons. One, I don't have many friends with BB if I wouldn't get many people to BBM. Second, I don't have much of a need for e-mail and internet while I travel. For me, the cost of the data plan doesn't make sense.

  That being said, it is possible to access his mail without the data plan (via wifi)? I know that I can't do 'BB Push' and is not a problem, but on my old phone (Nokia E71) I could just set the phone with my email accounts and access it using the WiFi at school or at home. I was able to get the BB browser to access my home wi - fi so I could go to the Web sites, but no luck with the e-mail. I guess I could use the email by logging in on the site of my school or AOL/GMail.com, but seems very not. Is it possible to do this, or perhaps there is an app that I could use to receive email via Wi - Fi?

  I read a lot of posts on here talking about how BB is "paralyzed" without the data plan, but honestly I don't know if a few hundred extra dollars a year is justifiable.

  Thanks for the reply. I don't mind paying for the data plan because I use it. He also likes. Another expert said that all carriers have an agreement with RIM to include a data plan with subscribers, so all carriers have policies that they cannot sell Blackberry without a data plan. GSM networks used to give this option, but is more to do. Regarding the purchase of a Blackberry on ebay, Amazon, can but the trick is with the SIM cards, put a car phone AT & T or T-Mobile, without data SIM in a Blackberry, it will work for the voice, but no data.

  It's quite relevant. When cut you the WiFi, BIS (and BES, if you have one) should get to use your carrier data network. Something is certainly not there... then contact them and insist on climbing.

Everything was fine except I now im my bbm interference. My profile picture is often changed and I get contacts without confirming them. After a few days to deal with the technical support told me that the phone must be put to the index with blackberry as well as my ISP. I was also told that this process had never been done before, and the chance to get with my phone was not very high. The reason was that the technical support should send a request to blackberry on the blacklist of the bb id, an e-mail.

  I don't know if the person using my old stolen phone can read my messages or see my contacts, but either way I feel as if my private life has been violated and liked to feel safe using bbm surveys.

  What can I do? Maybe remove the code from my blackberry and register in the register using the same email?

• Need help with bbm blackBerry Smartphones

  Hey everyone, so I have a little problem with blackberry messenger.

  I am currently overseas and left my sim to my phone and active inside the option of mobile connection power off and left only wireless on. My blackberry messenger worked perfectly on wifi.

  However, I've been corresponding with my phone provider and tell them to pass my number back to front I'll be a stranger for a few months. That took place this morning and I leave around the same time, blackberry Messenger works as well.

  I am able to navigate using the bb browser, but the messages are not delivered (a check mark appears, but no sign of D (elivered)) and I get no messages either.

  Now I do not understand how them my sim for prepaid switching makes a difference? It's not as if I'm on homelessness or even using the phone for the mobile network option. I checked the host routing table and the staff are present. This is what it looks like:

  Don't sweat! things are complex all around! your blackberry data plan is related to you in two ways. one through your operator and two through your PIN on your bb. so when you initially could receive messages BBM PIN was still active for the BB data plan but after that you flew it through the phone call your PIN has been disabled for any data plan. hope that helps!
