• CS6 works with Windows 10?

  Microsoft wants to upgrade the computer I have where I installed Creative Suite 6.  I just want to know if CS6 works with Windows 10 in particular Photoshop?  I am retired on a fixed income and do not have the extra monthly expense of the CC product.  However I love photography and I love that my cameras and the software is already paid.  My CS6 products is always properly on my Windows 7 computer.

  I use creative photography of cloud and I just bought a second computer (laptop with an external drive).  I want to be able to view and work with all the pictures on both computers. I'll travel with the notebook and perform preliminary processing on a trip.  How can I synchronize the libraries on both computers?  Thank you

  Lightroom is designed as a single-user, single computer system. The catalogue between computers sharing requires some jumping through hoops.

  The easiest way (not the prettiest) is to put the pictures and the catalogue on an external drive, then move the disk from computer to computer depending on the needs.

  Eventually, you can use the 'export catalogue' and 'import from catalog' orders to move the changes from one computer to the other.

  Copy the catalog from one computer to another via your local network can work OK. Photos of synchronization can be a long process.

  Some people find this file sharing services like DropBox and OneDrive OK to work for them; others find it does not work as desired. Some of these services work well with files randomly updated as do the database files. However, copy of the catalogue to and from the sync folder while never using the catalog in the sync folder works OK.

  My recommendation would be the external hard drive, followed by a manual copy via a local network.

  I work with CS5 applications, crucially Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop.

  Two main workflow is, using Bridge to view and manage my files:

  (1) created the drawings, done in Photoshop Illustrator.

  (2) photography using ACR and Photoshop.

  I'm (fairly) happy with what Illustrator an InDesign currently offer me, do so not need to change. However I'm looking to install the photographers CC version. It is crucial that my workflow of Illustrator is not

  affected in any way. I was able to complete my work as an Illustrator in Photoshop CS5 or Photoshop CC. I intend to continue to use the bridge.

  I understand that I can stop a subscription to the CC and then I absolutely need my Illustrator on CS5 workflow to be affected by having not then CC Photoshop.

  Are there pitfalls that I need to know? I can't afford to mess up my Illustrator workflow by installing CC Photoshop, but I would like to switch to the use of the last CC Photoshop for photography.

  The programs have nothing to do with each other and interact in any way. PS CC will cheerfully open files HAVE inherited. You can just met an obstacle when trying to import CC generated PSDs in your CS5 programs. Even with maximum compatibility enabled, some of them may expose some quirks due to changes in the file format as the layer styles renders does not correctly, or the mask layer positioned offshore.

• ITunes and the AppStore do not work with Sierra

  I upgraded to El Capitan Sierra and now ITunes and AppStore do not work. The message says something wrong with the internet connection and not able to connect.

  I tried to disconnect and connection that worked with the AppStore, but still can not.

  ITunes does not allow a reconnect.

  Any help appreciated.

  You may be lucky with select all > copy > paste into a new document in a robust word-processing or text-editing application

  A PDF is designed to be READ (for the most part)-only "areas" can be "filled" and printed/saved

  After the first, you can then save it as a PDF from the application you are using - usually the function print rather than the Save as function

• InDesign CS5 will work with MacOS Sierra?

  Has anyone tried to see if InDesign CS5 will work with MacOS Sierra? I have creative cloud and CS5 on my machine, but due to some of the things that I have to work that only work with CS5 to CS6 I have to keep my old software. I hesitate to upgrade to Sierra until I know if InDesign CS5 will work or not.

  If anyone has tested this, I would be recognizing the return flow, thank you.

  It really depends what you do with it, and a large part of the framework has changes in the operating system for how the application is designed to run in. Your workflow can cause problems when the application works for others or you might be able to use it, but keep in mind has more no support for CS5 Adobe or Apple, so do not expect to solve any problems that you can discover.

• Opening works with Sierra

  How the opening has worked with Sierra?

  Basically the same as on El Capitan. The seeds of same as before.  He started and we can change, but some tools are behaving unexpectedly.  Some users report that the opening is now crashing mode full screen.

  I can't reproduce this problem, it might be the dependent platform.

  I want to continue to work with iMovie 11 (or as it is also referred to as version 9).  I would also like to upgrade to Mac OS Sierra.  IMovie 11 will continue to operate in the Sierra if I update?

  I have no idea, but since it already has problems running under El Capitan I would not set my hopes high.  If you want to try, make a clone bootable for your operating system on an external drive or separate the partition before update so that you can come back if Sierra is giving problems.
