World of Warcraft play do well with Windows 7?

Hi, I had problems with lag with World of Warcraft since the upgrade to win7 about two weeks ago. My latency time increased from 180-250 to 350-700 normal. I tried the registry TcpAckFrequency and TCPNoDelay changes, compatibility modes, hardware acceleration and messing around with on anything ending with Checksum in the properties of the device (in accordance with a recommendation on the EU WoW forum), and I have not seen any improvements at all. I know this isn't my ISP, because I had to move last week and am in a different field, but with the same ISP. It seems to be just a game, that I've had no problems with Counterstrike or Team Fortress 2. Is there something I can do another that grit my teeth and deal with it? I have no other options for an ISP here in the Bush, and I'm not ready to downgrade to XP just to do this, even though I'm a bit addicted to it.

Here's a DxDiag to my computer, I forgot to post last night.

m6514309,
Given that this only happens with WoW, then perhaps Blizzard might have other ideas.  For now try another NETWORK card is the only thing left to try.  If it affected all use online then consider to reinstall Windows, but I doubt that this would be useful in this situation.  If I come across anything else I'll post back.

With the release of Patch 5.0 and Pandaria mists, the repair tool was wrapped in the game. The game will now be stream repair automatically when it detects corrupted data files.

There's always ways for the repair feature must be blocked to fail. In these cases, you will still encounter an error, but there are some things that you can do to solve the problem.

Please note that if you have or find an old copy of the repair tool, it will not work with the current game. The old repair tool cannot identify the current version of the game and only tell you to reinstall. This isn't always the best answer, so I would recommend first using the link above.

  • World of Warcraft modules works only with Windows 7

My computer is HP Pavilion and new. There is no windows 7 when I bought it and I just download windows 7. Prior to Windows 7, I downloaded the game had no problem. I look around for more information on how to solve the problem, I find that I am more confused. I talked to HP and they were no help and offered to pay one of their people to solve my problem, although I still have a 2-year warranty left. I find instructions provided in most of the cases are intended for people with great knowledge in computer science. Most of the people who hold them are not the well informed! I contacted Blizzard and they are not aware of any problems at the moment.

On the game World of Warcraft, I can't use files Add on, after I downloaded windows 7 on my Vista 64 computer. I have another computer and addons are working very well. They appear to be locked or not accessible. How can I fix it.

    Hi Dennis424,

Welcome to the Microsoft answers site.

    ·         What happens when you try to use the add-on?

This could be a problem if the corrupt modules are installed on the computer, I suggest you uninstall the Add-ons on the computer and reinstall the Add-ons and check.

If the problem persists, then I suggest that you uninstall the game World of Warcraft and perform the new installation of the game and check.

In the world of Warcraft Support Forum I was told to contact the manufacturer of the video card may be defective.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hello!

It seems that your graphics card is broken...
You have this problem on other games also or only with World of Warcraft?

But it could also be an overheating problem. Have you tried to clean the laptop using a jet of compressed air? This could blow out the dust from the cooling fans.

In the worst cases, you should contact an ASP. Technicians can check your laptop and share the graphics card if it of necessary.

This problem may occur if you do not have permissions for the file or the location of the file, if the file is located on a site that is not accessible at the moment as a network location or an external drive that is not currently connected to the computer or your antivirus software may block the file.

    Hi SwaggaSamurai,

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I read your thread on your HP Pavilion Notebook 17z-e100 and wanting to downgrade to Windows 7. The hardest part might be some of the drivers. You have a copy of Windows 7 Professional? All the drivers can be found by doing a Google search. If you need help with drivers, I'd be happy to help you. Here is a document on Windows downgrade rights. I recommend to read this document and save all documents before you start, just so that you don't miss something important.
