Worm: 38.4.0 e-mails have two date & time others have only once?

This has also occurred on the previous 2 versions of the T-Bird
There is no model that I can identify as an email from the same sender will show both ways.

I have the column set to Date.

I really want the date and time to show all emails.
Thank you

Yes, the messages of today date is not displayed. It is all about the largest (and IIRC all of the future.)

You probably captured this image today, 3 December 2015? Thus, it shows the date for messages which have been dated yesterday and the day before etc. Tomorrow, it will add the date to the messages that arrived today.

Once you got used to the absence of date which means 'today' you will begin to appreciate the ease with which allows you to identify recent messages.

You can change it. http://KB.mozillazine.org/Date_display_format

  • Dynamic action - Get the difference between two dates + times

    I have problems a little dynamic to work action. I'm trying to get the time between two dates with the time difference.

    Here is what I got (this is apex 4.0):

    Two date pickers + two numbers fields (date/start/end times)

    I created a dynamic action on the page who fires on the point lose focus (above points).

    The real action for the DA is the body of the PL/SQL function:
    declare
      end_date DATE;
      start_date DATE;
    Begin
      start_date := to_char(:P1_START_DATE || ' ' || :P1_START_TIME, 'DD-MON-YYYY HH:MIAM');
      end_date := to_char(:P1_END_DATE || ' ' || :P1_END_TIME, 'DD-MON-YYYY HH:MIAM');
      :P1_HOURS := end_date-start_date;
    End;
    When I change the values on the page, I get the following error:

    AJAX call back Server error ORA-06502: PL/SQL: digital or value error: character number conversion error to set the value.

    I'm guessing that there is a problem with the date formatting, but I can't make it work. Thanks in advance!

    Hi djston,

    because you chose the dynamic action of 'Set value' with the "Body of the PL/SQL function" type you need to return the value. Try the following code

    declare
      end_date DATE;
      start_date DATE;
    Begin
      start_date := to_date(:P1_START_DATE || ' ' || :P1_START_TIME, 'DD-MM-YYYY HH:MIAM');
      end_date := to_date(:P1_END_DATE || ' ' || :P1_END_TIME, 'DD-MM-YYYY HH:MIAM');
      RETURN (end_date-start_date)*24;
    End;

    and P1_REQUESTED_HOURS like 'item affected. "

  • My MSFT mouse clicks two times I click only once

    When I try and delete an email, mouse seems to make two or more at a time. When I play Mahjong and click on the tile, it automatically clicks on tile below this one also. It's as if the mouse is by double clicking on almost alone I click on. I went in corntrol Panel whwere you can adjust by clicking on slow to fast for Central, but it doesn't change anything at all.

    Hello

    The problem appears when you connect the mouse to another computer?

  • Calculate the difference in days between two Dates

    Hello

    I'm trying to understand how to calculate the difference in days between two dates using JavaScript in LiveCycle. (Minimum = JavaScript knowledge)

    Where 'Start_Date' and 'Current_Date' are the names of the two dates in the palette of the hierarchy. (the two Date/time field)

    * Current date is using the object > value > execution property > current Date/time

    I need a text or number field showing the difference in days. (Difference_in_Days)

    I noticed the following code is pretty standard among other responses:

    var

    Start_date = new Date (Start_Date);

    var

    Current_Date = new Date (Current_Date);

    var

    nAgeMilliseconds = Current_Date.getTime) - Start_date.getTime ();

    var

    nMilliSecondsPerYear = 365 * 24 * 60 * 60 * 1000 ;

    I know there is lack of code and code above are may not be not correct.

    Please notify.

    OK, that's because of the way that javascript and works of the calculate event.  The field will be filled with whatever the script resolves at the end of execution. Technically, your script does not have a value because the last thing you do is an assignment to a variable.  Change the last line as follows:

    Math.ABS ((firstDate.getTime)

    ((- secondDate.getTime (()) / (oneDay));

    (eliminate the variable assignment) and get rid of the app.alert.  Your script will "return" (have) regardless of the value of calculation from the East and which will be stored in the field.

  • Connected to Outlook Express and all my existing e-mails have disappeared

    original title: Outlook Express

    Connected to Outlook Express and all my existing e-mails have disappeared.  Only those today showed.  I tried using the search of .eml files and get no results.  Can anyone help with location on the hard drive the .eml files?  Thank you.

    You won't find files for Outlook Express .eml. They are stored in the format of data in the form of .dbx files.

    ******************************************

    Two reasons the most common for what you describe is disruption of the compacting process, (never touch anything until it's finished), or bloated folders. More about that below.

    Why OE insists on compacting folders when I close it? :
    http://www.insideoe.com/FAQs/why.htm#compact

    Why mail disappears:

    About file Corruption:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/IE/community/columns/filecorruption.mspx

    Recovery methods:

    If you use XP/SP2 or SP3, and are fully patched, then you should have a backup of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin (or possibly the message store), copied as bak files.

    To restore a folder bak on the message store folder, first find the location of the message store.

    Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

    In Windows XP, the .dbx files are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in the Solution Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder options | View.

    Close OE and in Windows Explorer, click on the dbx to the file missing or empty file, then drag it to the desktop. It can be deleted later once you have successfully restored the bak file. Minimize the message store.

    Open OE and, if the folder is missing, create a folder with the * exact * same name as the bak file you want to restore but without the .bak. For example: If the file is Saved.bak, the new folder should be named saved. Open the new folder, and then close OE. If the folder is there, but just empty, continue to the next step.

    First of all, check if there is a bak file already in the message. If there is, and you have removed the dbx file, go ahead and rename it in dbx.

    If it is not already in the message, open the trash and do a right-click on the file bak for the folder in question and click on restore. Open the message store up and replace the .bak by .dbx file extension. Close the message store and open OE. Messages must be in the folder.

    If messages are restored successfully, you can go ahead and delete the old dbx file that you moved to the desktop.

    If you have not then bak copies of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin:

    DBXpress run in extract disc Mode is the best chance to recover messages:

    And see:
    http://www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#4

    A general warning to help avoid this in the future:

    Do not archive mail in default OE folders. They finally are damaged. Create your own folders defined by the user for mail storage and move your mail to them. Empty the deleted items folder regularly. Keep user created folders under 300 MB, and also empty as is possible to default folders.

    Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the CPUs, slows down sending and receiving and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for the loss of messages. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:
    http://www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3

    And backup often.

    I use Windows Live mail on my laptop and recently got a new computer I put Windows Live Mail on.  On my old laptop, I get all my emails. On the new desktop, I get only a few emails.  Is it possible to have a fully functional Windows Live Mail on two computers that use only one email address?  Sense, get the same exact amount of emails on a single computer.

    I guess my perceived problem is because when my phone syncs with comcast account it downloads all messages and deletes them from the server.  There for when my desktop synchronizes he sees little or no emails.  Please confirm?

    Y at - it an option to fix this or do I just disable the program on one of my computers?

    When I have only a single virus of Gabrielle, I know, this program is Mcafee.

    It is not recommended to run two anti-virus programs at the same time.  It will make the System unstable, crashes, slow performance and so on.  It is better to use a program that you trust on a regular basis and if you want to double check this program, use a parser in line one of the main websites AV.

    I can't find my old emails that is to say the last 4 years e-mails have disappeared. I can't see in the 'archives' folder list and also in my list of "local" files
    I recently formatted my system. It causes this problem? Is there anyway to recover my emails?

    Assuming that really format you your hard drive.
    Can erase you every single entry to a file, message, photo, program, document, etc. When you select format you get warnings on this subject.
    The format is the last thing you want to do without going through a backup of your personal and important files.

    Local folders is automatically created when you installed Tbird.
    And it is empty until you move something over there.
    (Your former local folder with all its files and messages has been removed under format).

    Only messages that are still on your server (stbeehive.oracle.com) can be recovered.

  • Outlook Express problem: receiving e-mail on two different computers

    I use Outlook Express to send and receive e-mail on two of my computers. Both are connected to the same sever internet account. My laptop is connected to wirlessly modum and my office is connected to the same cable modum. If Outlook Express is open on my laptop, I receive e-mail on it & my office also weither Outlook Express is open on this topic or not. If Outlook Express is open on my desk & not on my laptop, I receive e-mail on it and not on my laptop. Emails received on my desk when Outlook is not open on my laptop never materialize on my laptop. It's as if they are intercepted by the office. Are there settings that I can change on computers? My ISP Internet says it's a matter of Outlook not an internet issue. Can anyone help?

    If both computers use the same e-mail address, on both machines:

    Tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Advanced - Check: leave a copy of messages on the server.

    On a single computer only, make sure to delete messages after X days to satisfy your allocated space that you get from your server.

  • I have only a hotmailadress. you want to send e-mail to an office. Please help me what I HAV to do then?

    I have only a hotmailadress. IWant to send e-mail to an office.

    Please can tell me how I can get anotter mailadress?

    If you do not use a hotmail address, then you must sign up with a service provider (your ISP will probably be fine) get an another e-mail address that is provided by the ISP.  To do this, you probably have to call your ISP to register and get the instructions of installation appropriate for your email account (and possibly use their program access online if they offer or use Windows Mail or Windows Live Mail to send and receive e-mails, then again).  Unless you want a yahoo or grmail or other type of account such as hotmail or msn, then the new e-mail service can cost you an extra monthly cost (although most ISP plans come with the e-mail as part of their plan - free mine comes with the ability to make up to 5 different email accounts using their identification).  What plan you choose is up to you.  I don't know why you need a new address in the first place - but it's up to you (there is nothing wrong with hotmail, but I assume that because it is free, it doesn't "look like" also good one from a different and private source).

    The result is that you need to contact another e-mail provider (or you can even get another hotmail e-mail address if you want to) and register, obtain the appropriate settings, wait however long it takes to create your account (it shouldn't be long) and then you have a new e-mail address to use.  Most e-mail programs (you don't say what you use) have the ability to merge or show several different accounts at the same time, so that shouldn't be a problem.

    Here is a search engine Bing on "e-mail service providers" which should give you a start if you do not use one from your ISP (or they do not offer this service):http://www.bing.com/search?q=e-mail%20account%20providers&mkt=en-us&FORM=TOOLBR&DI=6244&CE=14.0&CM=SearchWeb.

    I hope this helps.

  • I can layer two documents in Indesign so I have only to make changes to one and it affects them both?

    I can layer two documents in Indesign so I have only to make changes to one and it affects them both?

    You can't superimpose two documents, but you can use the link and place feature in InDesign (Edit > place and link). This would allow you to have a single document which contained the main text, and then place this text in another document. When you change the text in the master file, any file that is using text related to this master file will indicate that it must be updated and it can bring in the modified text. Another option would be to export the text as a story in InCopy (.icml). Choose Edition > InCopy > export > selection, then the place that history in two InDesign documents. You can use the assignments Panel then check text for editing, but it would achieve a similar result. The first options would be the simpler of the two.
