write the XML to the server

Hello

I want to write xml file to a different server from the computer on which is installed the ODI.

Can you please guide how is this possible?

Thank you

Hello

Yes, please follow these instructions.

Agent specific directories are created when we install the standalone agent. Different directories are created when we install the Studio, we need for our current requirement.

    Hello

    My question is trivial, but I do not know how to solve. I need to download file *.xml server on my cell phone and write it on the mobile. There are input/output streams to read/write. OK, but what I should write the file I've already read? byte [] table? but I don't know what should be the size... cause, I guess I can't write data directly on my mobile? If Yes, can someone suggest me how?

    Hello

    DB version: 11.2.0.2.0

    We try to generate an xml file in a directory on the server through pl/sql program. Here is the code we use. But it gives an error like ' failed due to the ORA-01422: exact fetch returns more than number of lines. When we put the select statement in a cursor and try to write data one by one in the loop, it is written only one record. Please tell us if we make a mistake.

    You must use the XMLAGG function to group LegalEntity items in a single fragment.

    Also use XMLSERIALIZE instead of the getClobVal method (it is not recommended).

    SELECT XMLSerialize(document

  • How to write the xml data to a file

    Hi all

    We have a requirement of writing, the xml data in a file in the data directory in the server. Generate xml data using the SQL below.

    SELECT XMLELEMENT ("LINE",
    XMLELEMENT ('CELL', xmlattributes (LIKE 'column name', ' EBIZCZMDL_01'), inventory_item_id).
    XMLELEMENT ('CELL', xmlattributes (AS 'Name of COLUMN', ' EBIZFFMT_01'), attribute29).
    XMLELEMENT ('CELL', xmlattributes ("COMMON" AS "Name of COLUMN"), inventory_item_id |) '' || attribute29 | "ITM")
    "XMLDATA" AS "PRODUCE")
    OF apps.mtl_system_items_b

    When we try to write this query data in a file using UTL_FILE.put_line, the script gives error
    PLS-00306: wrong number or types of arguments in the call to "PUT_LINE '.

    If anyone can help pls...

    Thanks in advance

    The call to dbms_xslprocessor.clob2file is in the cursor for the specific SQL loop.

    This is obviously the problem.
    The file is replaced with each iteration.

    Do not use a cursor at all.

    See the example below, it should be close to your needs:

    DECLARE

       l_file_name      VARCHAR2 (30);
       l_file_path      VARCHAR2 (200);

       l_xmldoc         CLOB;

    BEGIN

       l_file_path := '/usr/tmp';
       l_file_name := 'TEST_XREF4.xml';

       SELECT XMLElement("xref", xmlattributes('http://xmlns.oracle.com/xref' as "xmlns"),
                XMLElement("table",
                  XMLElement("columns",
                    XMLElement("column", xmlattributes('EBIZFFMT_01' as "name"))
                  , XMLElement("column", xmlattributes('COMMON' as "name"))
                  , XMLElement("column", xmlattributes('EBIZQOT_01' as "name"))
                  , XMLElement("column", xmlattributes('EBIZCZMDL_01' as "name"))
                  , XMLElement("column", xmlattributes('EBIZCZGOLD_01' as "name"))
                  ),
                  XMLElement("rows",
                    XMLAgg(
                      XMLElement("row",
                        XMLElement("cell", xmlattributes('EBIZCZMDL_01' AS "colName"), inventory_item_id)
                      , XMLElement("cell", xmlattributes('EBIZFFMT_01' AS "colName"), attribute29)
                      , XMLElement("cell", xmlattributes('COMMON' AS "colName"), inventory_item_id || '' || attribute29 || 'ITM')
                      )
                    )
                  )
                )
              ).getClobVal()
       INTO l_xmldoc
       FROM apps.mtl_system_items_b
       WHERE attribute29 IS NOT NULL
       ;

       dbms_xslprocessor.clob2file(l_xmldoc, l_file_path, l_file_name, nls_charset_id('UTF8'));

    END;
    /

    BTW, the directory in DBMS_XSLPROCESSOR parameter. CLOB2FILE must be an Oracle Directory object, not a literal path.

  • To save the XML on the server using Flex

    Sorry for this fundamental question. But can someone point me to an example of using Flex (maybe httpService) to load an xml file for the user to edit and save, and then on the server?

    Thank you very much.

    Hello

    Files and directories in Unix can have three types of permissions: read ('r'), write ('w') and execution ('x'). Each permission can be 'on' or 'off' for each of the three categories of users: the owner of the file or directory. other people in the same group as the owner; and all the others.

    1 download everything on your web server.
    2. go in flex-php-xml /, you will see "php" file and a few other folders.
    3. by default, PHP can NOT write files to your web server. You must change the permision folder 'php' on ('w')
    4. now php can write files to this folder.
    5 Xml is saved in the folder 'php '.

    saveXML.php is ready to go, you don't compile anything.

    If you need more information about changing file/folder permision, google 'change the permissions (chmod) dir '.

  • Download the XML to the server

    Hi friends,

    I'm trying to load the XML to the server, how can I do this...

    should I read the file via Document (org)... and put it in the inputstream then I coppy all data... http outputstream?

    Please tell me the procedure

    You are on the right track.

    Steps to follow:
    (1) create XML.
    2) convert it to a bytearray from XML code.
    (3) open a http connection.
    (4) create an outputstream and copy the bytearray.
    (5) before send it to the server, set the content length and content type.
    (6) checking the response code.
    (7) close the connections

  • Open XML, how to write the path

    Hello

    I'm new to the Blackberry development and I hope you can help me with my problem. I try to work with an XML file, and so far, all that does very well as long I had the xml file, I work on, in the folder of my java application and deyployed using the desktop software. Now, I tried to put the file somewhere else on the Blackberry and I don't know how wirte the path to the source code. I tried the following, but it seems to be bad:

    private static String _xmlFileName = "file:///store/home/user/documents/test.xml";
    DocumentBuilderFactory factory = DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance();
                DocumentBuilder builder = factory.newDocumentBuilder();
                InputStream inputStream = getClass().getResourceAsStream( _xmlFileName );
                Document document = builder.parse( inputStream );

    I hope you can give me a hint, how I write the correct path?

    Thank you very much!

    Best regards, jtr87

    PS: Sorry for my bad English, but I did not use it very often.

    You need to do something like that to get your InputStream:

    /** * @return an open InputStream for a file, or null if file does not * exist. * @throws IOException if there is an error opening the file */InputStream getInputStream(String name) throws IOException {
        FileConnection fc = null;
        try {
            fc = (FileConnection) Connector.open(name, Connector.READ);
            if (fc.exists()) {
                return fc.openInputStream();
            }
        } finally {
            if (fc != null) {
                try {
                    fc.close();
                } catch (Exception ignored) {
                }
            }
        }
        return null;
    }

    Notice that you must close the FileConnection at some point, regardless of if the call to openInputStream worked.

    Hello

    I use oracle 10g. It is possible to write data to files on a local computer using util_file instead of the server?

    Concerning

    PL/SQL is a programming language on the server side. So the answer is no if you have a shared drive on your server that points to your client you can. But that opens all kinds of security problems.

  • How to write the xml content of a file (Blob data Type) with other columns in file system

    Team,
    We are currently working on oracle 11 g. Suppose that we consider the SCOTT. EMP table for our creation of the table.
    All existing columns of SCOTT along. EMP table allows to assume that this table has an additional column name emp_xml, which is of TYpe of BLOB data and it holds xml data.
    the size of the data blob for each record in this col is greater than 32 KB (normally about 1 GB), now I want to write the contents of this column along
    with enmae, empno, hiredate into an external file. Assume that if we are only to the BLOB column that is emp_xml then the code below works

    Start

    for c in (select emp_xml from your_table)

    loop

    dbms_xslprocessor.clob2file (emp_xml.getclobval (), 'YOUR_LOCATION', 'YOUR_DYNAMIC_FILENAME')
    end loop;
    end;

    but I want empno, enmae, hiredate with blob emp_xml written in the external file. Any assistance in this case welcome.

    Concerning

    max_linesize

    Maximum number of characters for each line, including the newline character,
    for this file (minimum 1, maximum value 32767). If not specified, Oracle
    provides a default value of 1024.

    Defines how much you can read or write to a single call. I have to loop through the clob object and I write a pieces of 1024. So there is no limit to how much she can write. Just test it, IT will WORK!

  • Reading an XML file and write the content in another file xml in java

    Hello

    I'm new to xml parsing. My requirement is that I get a message (xml) using ibm MQ in the ByteArrayInputStream format. I read this xml message and write to another file.

    To do this, I create a CEP.

    First of all, I used simple reading and writing concept, but the output is "java.io.FileInputStream@3e25a5".
    Example of xml file
    -< customer >
    < > 1234 ClientId < / ClientId >
    STechnology < ClientName > < / ClientName >
    < DTU_ID > 567 < / DTU_ID >
    < ClientStatus > ACTIVE < / ClientStatus >
    -< LEAccount >
    < Customer > 678989 < / customer >
    < > 56743 LEId < / LEId >
    -< account >
    < AccountNumber > 9876543678 < / account number >
    < / account >
    < / LEAccount >
    -< Service >
    Y2Y < Cindicator > < / Cindicator >
    < PrefCode > 980 < / PrefCode >
    < BSCode > 876 < / BSCode >
    < MandatoryContent > MSP < / MandatoryContent >
    < / service >
    < / customer >

    Code:

    import java.io.ByteArrayInputStream;
    import java.io.FileInputStream;
    to import java.io.FileOutputStream;
    import java.io.IOException;
    import java.io.InputStream;
    import java.io.OutputStream;

    public class ByteArrayInputStreamToXml {}

    Public Shared Sub main (String [] GIS) throws IOException {}

    InputStream inputStream = new FileInputStream("C:\\soft\\test2\\sample1.xml");
    currentXMLBytes Byte = inputStream.toString () .getBytes ();
    ByteArrayInputStream byteArrayInputStream = new ByteArrayInputStream (currentXMLBytes);

    OutputStream out = new FileOutputStream("C:\\soft\\test\\data.xml");
    int read = 0;
    ubyte bytes [] = new byte [1024];

    While ((read = byteArrayInputStream.read (bytes))! = - 1) {}
    out. Write (bytes, 0, read);
    out. Write ("\n");
    }

    inputStream.close ();
    out. Flush();
    out. Close();

    System.out.println ("new file created!");

    }

    }

    Please suggest me how can I use DOM/SAX parser, I see several code on the net to read the xml file using SAX/DOM parser, but write an xml file after reading using ByteArrayInputStream I don't get. Assistance through some link examples will also be useful for me.

    Thank you
    Sumit

    But the file is coming thanks to a queue and byte format. Must read the byte, and write to a file. So, how I tried to read the byte using the code above. Please suggest me the correct way.

    Simply write the bytes of the contents of the queue directly to a FileOutputStream. Still no need to SAX or DOM!

    Pseudo-code-

    Open a FileOutputStream .

    Until all the bytes of the queue have been read
        read some bytes from the queue.
        wite these bytes to the FileOutputStream.

    Close the FileOutputStream.

  • Need help to write to Oracle and SQL Server in the Oracle triggering

    We have a third which feeds data for us. Their client application feeds directly to some source tables in our Oracle database 10g. We have triggers on those tables that sort and treat lines as they come.

    We have a new operation and try to write some of these incoming data now to a SQL Server database through heterogeneous services - essentially the same exact data in two databases. I have a related database that works very well for the selection, but I've never tried to write Oracle PL/SQL to write in a DB SQL Server 2008. My first attempt was met with the following error: "ORA-02047: impossible to join the current distributed transaction.

    I found another thread where they say that the only way to do it is by using a stand-alone transaction, but they do not give an example. Here is the section of relaxation that I use:
      select to_char(new_date,'MM-DD-YYYY') into sql_txt from dual;
      insert into mancamp_location@sqlweb
           ("UnitID", "ManCampID", "Lat", "Long", "UpdateDT", "VehSpeed", "VehDirection", "Landmark")
        values (v_truck, f_unit, f_lat, f_long, sql_txt, f_spd, f_dir, f_ldmk);
    Can someone point me to a way to accomplish this simple insertion?

    An example of a standalone trigger is:

    Suppose you have a table in Oracle:

    CREATE TABLE emp_sal
    (
    EMPNO NUMBER 4,
    SAL NUMBER (7.2));

    and a similar table in a SQL server:
    SQL Server:

    CREATE TABLE emp_sal
    (
    EMPNO NUMERIC (4).
    SAL NUMERIC (7.2));

    Then, you can create an insert trigger that replicates the data:
    CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER dg4odbc_repl AFTER INSERT ON emp_sal
    FOR EACH LINE
    DECLARE
    PRAGMA AUTONOMOUS_TRANSACTION;
    BEGIN
    INSERT INTO 'emp_sal"@MSODBCSQLSERVER_DG4ODBC_EMGTW_1123_DB '.
    VALUES (: new.empno,: new.sal);
    COMMIT;
    END;
    /

    -Note the validation, otherwise risk of ORA-6519

    When you now insert a record into the Oracle database:
    insert into emp_sal values (1234, '1200,89');
    the trigger is activated and inserts the record in SQL Server:
    Select * from 'emp_sal"@MSODBCSQLSERVER_DG4ODBC_EMGTW_1123_DB;
    EMPNO, SAL
    ----- -------
    1234 1200.89

    It works fine when you post data insert, but as soon as restore you the insert only data Oracle will be cancelled - data will remain as long as the independent transaction dedicated to its SQL Server insert:

    insert into emp_sal values (1384, '1200,89');
    Rollback;
    Select * from emp_sal;
    EMPNO, SAL
    ----- -------
    1234 1200.89

    Select * from 'emp_sal"@MSODBCSQLSERVER_DG4ODBC_EMGTW_1123_DB;
    EMPNO, SAL
    ----- -------
    1234 1200.89
    1384 1200.89

    So I strongly recommend to use the DG4MSQL gateway which is able to participate in distributed transactions and allows validation/restore transactions.

  • You can write an Excel on the client computer instead of on the server

    I am trying to user cfSpreadSheet functon. The first question I have is, you can write the file on a client computer? I tried, but they all end up on the disk of the server. Scecond question, is there a way to row and column range formatting in CF9.0? SpreadsheetFormatCellRange function is only available for ColdFusion Server version 9.01.

    Thank you.

    You can not write directly on the client computer.  However, using cfcontent, that you can prompt the user to open or save the file.

  • How to find the XML Publisher repository to the server Oracle EBS 11i?

    I need to update a models mass rtf that is born as a report xml editor in Oracle 11i apps. I know that I can go to the liability of Director of Publisher XML to load the model one by one between the user interface, but it's a lot of your time. I'm trying to find the location of these files in the server (unix or db). Also, is there any document on the deployment report xml to the application server Editor?

    Thanks for your help,

  • Want to write the results to submit the login form to log on the server

    I cooked up a little family site to share memories and old photos. This is a members only site and I use a PHP login script that compares the user name and password to a list.

    I would like to know
    (a) if someone tries to guess their way in.
    (b) If a member is having connection problems... We have a few not so computer savvy family members which eventually get frustrated and give up.
    (c) whose members are logging... It is a new effort, to run one year on a trial basis... and it is worth.

    To do this, I add code to take the results of any shipment (on my login form) and to add the results of this to some sort of log file that I can periodically review. Because the foundations are in place this (I think) not an otherwise difficult task. But I have no idea on how to do this and hope someone can show me.

    Thank you for your time and help

    Ralph

    If it helps, it's the PHP code that I guess deals with the connection.

    / Repairable none by the user under this item. */

    $php_self = $_SERVER ['PHP_SELF'];

    / * Clean up variables: we only do $user and $password of the form. */
    $submit = $_POST ['submit'];
    $user = ";
    $password = ";
    If ($_GET ['user']) {}
    $user = $_GET ['user'];
    $password = $_GET ["password"];
    }
    If ($_POST ['user']) {}
    $user = $_POST ['user'];
    $password = $_POST ["password"];
    }

    session_start();

    / * Check the couple login/password until you find the one that is correct, or re-display the login form. */
    $loginsuccessful = FALSE;

    {foreach ($authorization as $loginpair)}
    {If (($user == $loginpair[0]) & & ($password == {$loginpair [1]}))}
    $_SESSION ['user'] = $user;
    $_SESSION ["password"] = $password;
    $loginsuccessful = TRUE;
    }
    {If (($_SESSION ['user'] == $loginpair[0]) & & ($_SESSION ['password'] == {$loginpair [1]}))}
    $loginsuccessful = TRUE;
    }
    }

    If ($loginsuccessful = TRUE) {}
    / * The user is connected, go on our merry way. */
    echo $loginmsg;
    } else {}
    / * User does not match our valid connection, their decline to the form. */
    $loginmsg = "invalid username or password";
    require ($indexphp);
    "exit";
    }

    No, it's not particularly difficult. Of course, you use a login script you obtained, because the code is very different from the one generated by Dreamweaver. Judging from the code, you do not use a database to store the usernames and passwords. Thus, you probably want to save the details of an external text file.

    Add the following code where indicated:

    if ($_POST['user']) {
        $user = $_POST['user'];
        $password = $_POST['password'];
    }

    // New code goes here

    $logfile = 'log.txt';
    $date = date('j M Y H:i:s');
    $address = 'Unknown';
    if (isset($_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'])) {
         $address = $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'];
    }
    if ($file = fopen($logfile, 'a')) {
      fwrite($file, "\r\n$date $address $user $password");
      fclose($file);
    }

    // end of new code

    session_start();

    This will create a text file named log.txt in the same folder as the logon script. Since it is a text file, it should ideally be outside the root of the web server, then you must change the value of $logfile to point to a file outside of the root of the server, but in a folder where the script is allowed to write.

    Whenever someone tries to connect, it will record the date and time, IP address, if known, and the user name and password submitted.

    Once you got this job, I suggest you change the following line:

    if ($file = fopen($logfile, 'a')) {

    Change to this:

    if ($file = @fopen($logfile, 'a')) {

    This will remove any error message if the script is unable to open the log file. However, you should not do that change until you have things market, because deleting an error will prevent you to discover what the problem is if this does not work.
