Writes the string data in a table

Hello

I am facing a problem in writing the data in the table. Here is its description:

1. I created a code that reads the URL from OPC.server.

2. I need to display it in a table. Since the number of URL is known, I defined the rows in the Table.

3 but am not able to display these URLS in the table.

This problem can be simply put on 'how to write string in the table. property node can be used and if so, what assets can be used?

I'm still a beginner in this... so would like help of all my colleagues LabVIEWers there

Thank you best regards &,.

Nadège.

This is a base update. The initialize array must be specified as a number greater than your maximum number of URLS.

  • Reports on the string data when it crashes more than digital data

    It is an interesting situation for me. My apologies to simplify the introduction to the problem.

    It's easy when I met data from the table, a table, you have your descriptive data (Look up table)... Name of the product, the Transaction name,..., etc and you have a related table with the digital data in it (Table of facts),..., sales, cost, margin,... etc.

    Of course when the table with digital data in it breaks down further than the table with descriptive data. The solution is simple. Simply summarize you the data grouping in the descriptive table of digital data.

    ... Ok. Sorry about all this. Now, here's my problem...

    I have a situation where my table (get) descriptive data breaks down further than digital data in my table of facts. I know there is no way to summarize the data of type string, but I need a way to report the values in my eyes to the top of the table on the same line as the digital data cell associated with TWO or MORE look for rows in the table.

    I bet that this is not the first time that it has produced in the history of the RDBMS, so I think there must be a methodology out there somewhere to handle this situation.

    I think the final result will be something like; concatenate the descriptive data in the description cell that will be reported next to the digital data on the same line. I just need to know what the official solution, when it exists. There must be. Or at least a clever work around...

    Does anyone know what it is or how to handle this? Even more, is there a formal name for this kind of situation?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Put the string value in a table

    Hello

    Probably an easy question, but I am reading data of a RFID reader that returns a string value of 12 bytes. Whenever a RFID reads, I want the tag to be inserted in a string table on the front panel. So, basically, a newspaper of the each tag [read-> Insert row 0] then [read-> Insert level 1] and so on. I work RFID reader, I don't know how to put the string in the table.

    I'm not sure of the steps necessary to achieve control of the table (or if the table control is the right thing to use).

    Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Thanks in advance

    The call to dbms_xslprocessor.clob2file is in the cursor for the specific SQL loop.

    This is obviously the problem.
    The file is replaced with each iteration.

    Do not use a cursor at all.

    See the example below, it should be close to your needs:

    DECLARE

       l_file_name      VARCHAR2 (30);
       l_file_path      VARCHAR2 (200);

       l_xmldoc         CLOB;

    BEGIN

       l_file_path := '/usr/tmp';
       l_file_name := 'TEST_XREF4.xml';

       SELECT XMLElement("xref", xmlattributes('http://xmlns.oracle.com/xref' as "xmlns"),
                XMLElement("table",
                  XMLElement("columns",
                    XMLElement("column", xmlattributes('EBIZFFMT_01' as "name"))
                  , XMLElement("column", xmlattributes('COMMON' as "name"))
                  , XMLElement("column", xmlattributes('EBIZQOT_01' as "name"))
                  , XMLElement("column", xmlattributes('EBIZCZMDL_01' as "name"))
                  , XMLElement("column", xmlattributes('EBIZCZGOLD_01' as "name"))
                  ),
                  XMLElement("rows",
                    XMLAgg(
                      XMLElement("row",
                        XMLElement("cell", xmlattributes('EBIZCZMDL_01' AS "colName"), inventory_item_id)
                      , XMLElement("cell", xmlattributes('EBIZFFMT_01' AS "colName"), attribute29)
                      , XMLElement("cell", xmlattributes('COMMON' AS "colName"), inventory_item_id || '' || attribute29 || 'ITM')
                      )
                    )
                  )
                )
              ).getClobVal()
       INTO l_xmldoc
       FROM apps.mtl_system_items_b
       WHERE attribute29 IS NOT NULL
       ;

       dbms_xslprocessor.clob2file(l_xmldoc, l_file_path, l_file_name, nls_charset_id('UTF8'));

    END;
    /

    BTW, the directory in DBMS_XSLPROCESSOR parameter. CLOB2FILE must be an Oracle Directory object, not a literal path.

    Specification of column names is required, but you can omit the declaration of data types.

    See: the function XMLTABLE SQL/XML in Oracle XML DB

    XMLTable is used with storage XML based on a schema of XMLType data type is optional. If absent, the data type is inferred from the XML schema. If Oracle > XML DB is unable to determine the right type of a node, a default type VARCHAR2 (4000) is used.

    It is an Oracle extension; in the SQL/XML standard, the data type is always required.

    Note:
    The alleged data type might change as a result of the application of a patch or upgrade of Oracle XML DB. In particular, a new set of release or patch might be able to > determine the data type when the previous version was unable to do so (and therefore not reimbursed to VARCHAR2 (4000)). To protect against such an eventuality, specify an explicit data type with the data type.

  • Repeat the extensible data from a table in a new

    Hello

    I managed to create a table in LC designer4 growing - IE. It is a four-column table with a header line followed by a line where I can add information in three table cells. If I need to have another line I click on the line button Add (placed in the header row), and a new appears. There is also a button that can systematically remove deleted a row. I'll call this my parent table.

    So far so good.

    Maybe it's better to explain exactly what I'm doing here...

    My parent table is a kind of to-do list he calls table X. Each column is as such: 1. what to do 2. who will do 3. When she will be

    It is extensible, so if there is more than one action to be carried out it will add extra lines.

    I also want to create a new table that is an update on the list to call this table Y:

    column a. what needed to be done (these data are extracted directly from column 1 on the to-do list) column B: at - it to happen? column C: if not, why - columns B and C are new and do not pull the data from the to do list.

    The problem is twofold: how repeat the data in the column 1 (given the fact that I can't use global data binding as column 1 can have several different entries), and if I can get past this first hurdle, how can I make automaticall table expand to the same amount of lines in table X?

    I should mention that I'm a designer so my programming expertise is severely limited. I managed to create the first table by watching the tutorials rather than find out myself. As far as I know the first table is done in javascript.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    You need to loop through the tables and copies the data from the field.

    You have to adapt the example below for your table names and the reference field.

    Table1 = table to copy from

    Table2 = table to copy to

    Row1 = name of the rank that the fields are

    ColumnA = the name of the field being copied

    Here is the script (put it on the Click event of a button):

    Table2._Row1.count = Table1._Row1.count;
    var vCol1 = this.resolveNodes("Table1.Row1[*].ColumnA");
    var vCol2 = this.resolveNodes("Table2.Row1[*].ColumnA");

    for (var i = 0; i < vCol1.length; i ++) {
                 vCol2.item(i).rawValue = vCol1.item(i).rawValue;
    }

  • Display of the overall data in temporary Tables

    Hello

    We have three - DEV, QA, and Production environments. During the development and quality assurance, it would be useful to be able to view the data in a global temporary Table for another session. For example, if we run something in one of our applications that populates the table, it would be useful to query that data to a toad / session sqlplus for debugging purposes.

    Others that the conversion of the TWG for a regular table in DEV and QA, is possible to access these data?

    See you soon

    Simon

    No, it is not possible from now... :)
    The data in a global temporary table is private, such as the data inserted by a session is accessible only by this session.

  • convert the string into individual components table

    Hello Experts,

    I would like to display an array of strings in a display of text/string. for example:

    My array of strings is:

    ['I', 'L', 'O', 'V', 'E', 'L', 'A', 'B', 'V', 'I', 'E', 'W'], and I want to show this picture as I LOVE LABVIEW in an indicator of the string and not an indicator array.

    How do I do that? I tried flatten to sting, but it added a lot of zero to the channel indicator, and the display is not only correct appearance.

    I hope my question makes sense.

    The functions of concatenate strings will do exactly what you want.

  • Write the spectrum of power + other tables to PDM

    Hello world!

    I am building a project of data acquisition, using compactDAQ to measure and record data from an accelerometer.

    The main objective is to save the data of acceleration, speed, displacement and frequency in a PDM spectrum, but I'm having some trouble it.

    As you can see in the attached file I had coveted, data of the wizard Express in a waveform to unbundle + build using waveform, after that I wired this waveform of a generation a table with data ACC, of speed and movement.

    The problem arises with the viewer TDMS data reading because the plot of the frequency band is not the x-axis with the right values, instead display the data of frequency it indicates the date and time that does not correspond with the PC, but the fact is that I need the frequency values.

    Is it possible to change and enter the correct values in the TMDS file?

    Thanks in advance,

    Omar

    The TDMS Viewer included with LabVIEW is not going to meet the needs of each.  And this is a case where it is inadequate.  Your data is stored correctly (at least the image looks right.  Also next time code postal no pictures.  Attach a VI or a code snippet.

    When you read your data PDM Regularisez using a DDHN reading him indicate you the type of data to expect, and there you can provide an analog waveform.  Then when you read back you will have the same dT and T0 he wrote with.  The problem with the Viewer is probably does not know it is a waveform and is simply read data from amplitude and then confuse around the X axis.

    You can write your own code to read the file, make a copy of the existing Viewer, then change it. Or my favorite is try Scout by Signal.X.  They took the standard TDMS Viewer and gave it an overhaul.  You might get lucky and open the data normally here.

    Firstly, right click and select ' entire representation (i.e. U8), and then right click then select data entry. Uncheck "use default limits" and enter the desired range.

    If you have noticed, everything is done by right-clicking. You should be familiar with all the right click options. Did you do tutorials?
