• TOC icons and thumbnail previews lo res

  Hello.

  I have almost finished my publication (1024 x 768) and tested in my iPad 3. Everything seems to work OK except for the TOC icons and thumbnail previews, that lo res and strongly pixelated look. I tried to download my own TOC icons, but even following the instructions (JPG or PNG files to 70 x 70) they always seem lo res on the thumbnails, I don't even know if they can be changed.

  Is it normal or I do something wrong? The TOC icons and thumbnail previews seemed sharp and hi res when I did a test with a document of 2048 x 1536. But I can't make them look hi res with the document 1024 x 768.

  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

  For your TOC files, there is a strange quirk of DPS you can take advantage of. In Article Properties, you can specify only a picture of 70 x 70 pixels. However, when you import an article, the PNG image can be any size. If you create a PNG image of 140 x 140 in your article file, for example, and that article of import, your table of contents will be better on the HD device. I'm not aware anyway to improve the browse - mode previews is generally not a problem.

  Go to the folder where you have the photos you want. Right-click and select Properties.
  Click the Customize tab. Under folder pictures, click on restore by default. You should now be able to see the thumbnails on the record.

  System Restore:
  Start button > Search box, type system restore > press the Enter key > uac prompt > click on choose a different restore point > next > select dates as your restore point, until the click > next > finish

  Here's how to get safe mode:

• Windows 8 photos are not displayed as thumbnail preview what I can do?

  I searched google and tried most of two simple ways to fix it.

  First I went to edit forlder and search options > view, then the first box was already unchecked, so no change there.

  Then I made on computer properties > advanced system settings > performance > settings but also the box say: show the photos instead of icons has been already verified.

  What can I do else? I have pictures on the hard drive of my copied pc of smartphone Jpg files, but is not visible from the preview thumbnails.

  Open the folder where you have the number and then follow these steps:

  1. click on view in the menu bar.
  2. in the options in the Ribbon of the view, click Options.
  3. in the Folder Options box, go to the view tab.
  4. on the tab selected, under the list of advanced settings, uncheck the box always show icons, never thumbnails to activate thumbnails preview.

  If this is not enough, you need to show hidden files in this folder, and then delete the Thumbnails.db file (if you have one in this case). Here's how:

  1. open the folder you have the problem with.
  2. click on view in the menu bar.
  3. in the options in the Ribbon of the view, click Options.
  4. in the Folder Options box, go to the view tab.
  5. click on the option that says: Show hidden files folders or drives and uncheck the option that says: Hide protected operating system files.
  6. click on apply and OK.

  Now you see a file named miniature or Thumbnail.db in this folder? If you see one, delete it and restart the computer. Which solves the problem?

  Note: Remember to make hidden files appear is not in the computer once you have gone through the troubleshooting. You will need to check the options that you have unchecked in the second series of steps I provided.

  Miniature preview option has been removed since Acrobat Reader DC for security reasons, but it works with Adobe Reader 11 Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution.

• Pink & green thumbnails / previews

  When I download files to LR4 of Dropbox (upload to Sony Xperia Z3 Compact camera) about half the previews are green & pink instead of their true color, and this is done randomly by the game downloaded.  When I click on the thumbnail for a larger view the colors are correct but still pink/green in the previews.  Why is this and what can I do about it?

  The initial preview you see comes from the preview jpeg embedded in probably raw files. After some time, or when you click the file Lightroom generates its own Preview. So it seems that something is wrong with the embedded JPEG files. You can have Lightroom generate standard previews by selecting all the files that you have imported, then go to the library-> menu previews.

• Xperia z3 foto widget display the broken image icons instead of thumbnail/preview image

  Initially, I used my Z3 without SD card. Any word very well: album AND the foto widget that allows to navigate through the photos.

  I delete the file data and the album (in album settings - all apps) cache-.

  It does nothing (so far).

  How can I force the app/widget album to recreate its database and preview/thumbnails?

  Working solution for the following:

  Order the soft MediaStorage
  Settings > Apps > all > storage media (FROM: Medienspeicher) "App Info" > stop App

  Data deleted from the App MediaStorage
  Settings > Apps > all > storage media (FROM: Medienspeicher) 'App Info' > clear data

  Restarted the application (via MyPhoneExplorer) or by rebooting the phone.

  The process appears in the form "android.process.media" in the list of processes (not sure, I guess) android

  My nail of the thumb for a reason any do not show image previews.  I take a lot of digital photos and I want to see immediately without having to click on them.  I want to be able to open the folder and display the images as thumbnails.

  Open the folder in Windows Explorer, and then click the down arrow next to the view at the top.  Choose the medium-sized icons and see if the thumbnails start working again.

  If this is not the case, click organize, and then click folder and Search Options.  Click the View tab.  Make sure the "always show icons, never thumbnails" is not has a check mark next to it.

  Please let us know if that fixes the problem.

• How can I disable taskbar thumbnail previews in Windows 8?

  I recently installed Win8 and I love it up here (with third-party tools to make it usable).

  One thing that I can't seem to fix the taskbar previews. My view is terrible and the fair preview windows to get in the way, and text would be more useful. I know it's fixable in Win7, but methods which do not seem to apply here.

  It turns out that the taskbar thumbnails Tuner link someone posted works by changing the 2 following registry keys:

  HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerAdvanced\\\

  Create the new DWORD value: "ExtendedUIHoverTime" and set it to a very high number (it is in milliseconds) to delay the popup preview almost never (more than 7 weeks, anyway).   manually, use the slider of the skin, that you choose to arrive to the videopicture you want to use for previewing. Right-click on the flv component > Image > videopreview.png Export

  Hi, my macbook air is quickly running out of memory and I can't seem to find an answer to my question... I have 25 GB of masters, miniature 5.7 GB and 2.4 GB of previews. There are duplicates of records? If so, is it safe to delete them?
