I have consulted the router through my browser (192.168.1.1) but when I go under wireless > it doesn't let me change the menu drop down menu off off wireless security.   You can disable this extension in tools > Modules > Extensions and close and restart Firefox normally.

  Maybe your system is confusing upward. You said, you have installed some software stuff (Winutilities) and possibly this affected your system.

  Unfortunately, Halo 2 does support Windows Vista and more.  Windows XP is not supported.  There may be 3 party hacks that can make it work, but they are not taken in charge and potentially dangerous.
