WRT610N files 0 bytes on the storage

In recent weeks, I have problems with the files to copy to my disc HARD tied on the USB port on the Linksys WRT610N.

Sometimes, files 'transform' into files - 0 - bytes and then are gone! This happens only in certain directories on the HARD drive, not all. When you connect via another PC, I can't delete it even more. Can someone help me?

I have the V1 WRT610n of Linksys, firmware: 1.00.03.B15 (later installed, removed HDD, reset 30 s, reconfigured it..) The HHD is a Western Digital 10EAVS (1 TB).

Wireless connections are OK: 200-300 Mbps, so no problem there!

Thank you.

I found a solution on this forum, see link below:

http://forums.linksysbycisco.com/Linksys/board/message?board.ID=Wireless_Routers&message.ID=131570&q...

The external HARD drive was formattted FAT32 and I changed it to NTFS: problems gone! (so far...)

Thank you.

  • How is storage in 'about my Mac' does not match the storage in my files?

    Currently, my mac says that my storage is almost full. When I go to the storage of 'about my mac' section it says I 42.5 GB of photos, but when I click on 'get info' on my photo files it says I have only 6,92 GB of photos, and I make sure to remove as many pictures as possible from iPhoto and put it on an external hard drive to save space. He also says, that I have 17 GB of movies on my mac, when I have only about 6 GB in iTunes. In addition, what is the 'other' section of storage? He says I have 43.2 GB of 'other', and not knowing what it is that I have no idea of what I need to remove to have more space. It's very frustrating, and it boggles my mind I can't find an answer to this on the apple forums yet. All I can think is that Apple must be copy my files and storing elsewhere, so use all the space on my mac. If anyone can tell me how to manage this problem, it would be much appreciated.

  • FILE cannot BE DELETED, the file size of the file type 'file' "0 bytes"

    I downloaded a music file of myfreemp3.eu, he wasn't .mp3.  He was able to play a couple of times, but now does not open.  Now, I can't move or delete it from the downloads folder, system do not see.  its properties are of TYPE 'file' and SIZE '0 bytes. I tried many suggestions to remove it without success.

    I have Vista 2007 service pack 2.  I tried in safe mode, tried to move to another folder, tried to run without windows, search, folder to never display thumbnails, tried Mandrake Move, but it was outdated, orders back cmd has tried to delete. Also tried to delete with disabled explorer.exe.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you Ganesh and Hetti.  I just finally deleted my ghost file.  I used the safe mode and cmd.

    I went into the directory of downloads in the BACK, the used command DIR / X to find out the name of the file.

    He was ~ 1 at the end of the file name.   I used DEL filename ~ 1 and the file disappeared.  I checked the

    trash and he wasn't there either.  I rebooted the computer and found no trace of the file.

    The controls were as follows,

    CD C:\users\my name\downloads

    dir / x (to find the full file name,)

    del (to remove the file)

    I could probably use alternative command

    del *. *.

    Thank you again and maybe it helps someone else.  I ran the control with the repair disc, but that did not remove the ghost file.  I could also not delete the downloads folder.  Create the same named file with 0 bytes not working anymore.  I tried the latest version of Mandrake then.

  • Retrieve the bytes of the image of the path of the image file

    Hello

    I was unable to find a post that details how to retrieve the bytes of the image of an image (given the path to the file of the image on the device).  Basically, using the FilePicker, I'm able to get the path of an image chosen by the user:

    There you go:

    Pass just your file as method parameter name.

     public static byte[] getBytesFromFile(String filename) throws IOException {
            FileConnection fconn = null;
            InputStream is = null;
            try {
                fconn = (FileConnection) Connector.open(filename, Connector.READ);
                is = fconn.openInputStream();

                return IOUtilities.streamToBytes(is);
            } finally {
                if (is != null) {
                    is.close();
                }
                if (fconn != null) {
                    fconn.close();
                }

    Hi Andy,.

    I don't think that it is possible to change the URL. I know that you can rename the file or download another, but what is it. Work around a potential would be to host the files elsewhere on the Eloqua link it.

  • Automatically deleted from the storage of the DSO after data files using the command cp ASMCMD... why?

    I installed Oracle database on Linux 6.6, Virtualbox 11.2.0.1.0.

    I used ASM for database storage.

    When I want to perform a backup in offline mode. I stop the database data files and copy to the filesystem as follows (for example).

    ASMCMD [+] > cp +DATA/ora11g/datafile/system.270.883592533/u01/app/oracle

    The files copied with success and also any other data files, logs and controlfiles files. Then, I also rename all the files in editing mode.

    After that, I used the backup files to start the oracle of backup (storage non - ASM with new pfile edited)

    Open successfully from a backup database.

    But when I want to use old spfile to open the database for the storage of the DSO again, a few errors have occurred as no data files in ASM storage.

    I check the contents of the ASM storage with ASMCMD commands. And realize that there only spfile and controlfile located ASM storage and other files: data files and online redo logfiles automatically deleted.

    Why the data files and log files deleted ASM storage? Is this normal? I have no delete all files of the DSO.

    It is actually deleted from the use of the cp command?

    Exactly what we say.  Data in ASM files are OMF (Oracle managed files).  The RENAME translates the DSO by deleting the original file.

  • Trying to transfer a file of bytea in a Postgresql database field for storing files on the Orchestrator.

    Trying to transfer a file of bytea in a field of database Postgresql (on Orchestrator SQL instance) for storing files on the Orchestrator.

    The code is as follows:

    query var = "Select * from lots where id = '" + vmID + "'";

    var resultRecords = database.readCustomQuery (query);

    var icaoData = resultRecords [0] .getProperty ("icaodatabase_file_data");

    out. Write (icaoData)

    out. Flush()

    out. Close()

    Returned error: TypeError: [java.io.FileOutputStream JavaPackage] is not a function, it is object.

    This works very well in Grails.  Any suggestions on how to succeed in Orchestrator 5.5?

    You will need to use the javascript filewriter object (and check activation of rights to do so)

    Or will set up a shutter file to activate vCO using java.file.

  • Change of name of the files in Directory/VM after Storage vMotion

    I had a few vMotions storage for virtual machines that left the directory in the source data store (which I didn't). Then I had to move them back to the original data store and the directory and files have been renamed to VM_1... What is the safest way to get these files renamed to its original name? One of the virtual machines in a domain controller too.

    You can sVmotion once again, and who must fix.  Assuming that the VMS in vCenter has the correct name, just make the Storage vMotion for a new DS and that should solve.

    The data/index will be created and displayed in the storage tab after loading data.
    If you want to change the directory where the data/index is stored you it would update on the storage tab.

  • script to get the flow of bytes of the PDF file

    Hello

    Y at - it a script that can get the stream of bytes to the current PDF document?

    I use a PDF form in offline mode in the application. At the click of a button, a process of LC is invoked via webservice allows you to store the PDF file to the server. Y at - it a script by which the doc PDF itself could be converted into a bytestream and then sent to the Web service so that the PDF file can be rebuilt it?

    Thank you

    Muniyaraj

    You call a LiveCycle orchestration? If Yes, then you would define a string as an input parameter (make sure you so there is no time limit). Then when you call the function, the string contains the content encoded in base64 in your PDF. You must enter this in a document variable so in a setValue operation you can assign it to a VAR of document using this function:

    getDocFromBase64

    (java.lang.String)

  • Starting the server takes a long time due to the storage of JMS persistence files

    Hello

    We use WebLogic 9.2 on a windows machine.
    Recently, we have improved our request to work with JMS.
    We are on 2 different servers in a cluster using 2 JMS servers and works with distributed destinations.
    We use file storage as our persistence store.

    Recently, we found boot server takes a long time because of the actions that are performed on the storage of files.
    Analysis of this problem, we have seen that the size of the file is of ~ 2 GB.
    We understand that the file size does not fear (unless it is compacted manually), and its size matches the largest number ever of pending messages in the queues (as a mark of high tide).
    We shot also store debugging, using weblogic. Debug.DebugStoreIOPhysical and we saw a lot of recovery after newspapers file storage is open.
    We have checked and checked our JMS transactions are completed successfully. We also checked that the current messages and number of courses is 0.
    We stopped the server gracefully, check that there are no messages pending.
    However, several times takes start server ~ 30 minutes due to heavy work on the persistence store.
    Compaction or remove storage of files eliminates the delay.
    However, we want to avoid the manual operations whenever we want to start the server.

    Please share your ideas.

    Thank you
    Itsik

    The only suggestions I have off the top of my head are:

    * Ensure (1) the host system has at least 2 GB (the store file size) memory physics in addition to the memory used by the current process, and (2) the host system is not rebooted between each restart WebLogic. If you ensure that both of these, then the operating system puts implicitly cached content of the file of the store in memory even between boots - when WebLogic starts subsequently storing files, the o/s should be the content of the file much more quickly.

    * You can move to a JDBC store. Runtime JDBC store performance are lower, but since you have generally has only a small amount of records to retrieve, startup performance should be higher in this case.

    * Not that it helps your case, but it happens that we have significant performance improvements of starting process for a future version (if all goes well a near future release).

  • < Unspecified file name > file is larger than the maximum size supported by datastore '< indeterminate datastore >.

    I know that this issue has much spoken in the forums, but the answers are always to make sure that your block sizes are set to 8 MB - mine are already. Let me explain:

    I have a virtual machine with a large amount of connected storage - something along the lines of discs 10 x 1.99 to. Sit all VMDK on partitions of the VMFS of 8 MB of size block, including the configuration of the VM (location of the pagefile).

    Every time I try and snapshot of the virtual machine, I see the "< unspecified file name > file is larger than the maximum size supported by the data store ' < unspecified datastore >. All other virtual machines instant fine, but any other VM has a similar amount of storage as the VM problem.

    I have now moved the configuration files of the virtual machine to a new partition VMFS 5 of 1.91 TB, but the instant error persists. Most of the readers is sitting on VMFS 3.33 or 3.46. It will take me a while to move all VMFS 5 to see if that solves the problem.

    VMware.log for VM reports:

    2011-10-09T09:55:55.328Z| vcpu-0|  DiskLibCreateCustom: Unsupported disk capacity or disk capacity (2186928627712 bytes) is too large for vmfs file size.

    My VMDK and volumes are smaller than 2032GB. I don't understand why, it's be a problem.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Although ESXi 5 supports larger LUN as a raw physical devices (up to 64 TB), the maximum size of a virtual disk has not yet changed.
