  You have to find the icon 'Wireless' or 'Manage connections' on your device to turn on the wireless.  Scroll through the icons until you see 'Turn One Wireless' at the bottom of the screen (and then click this icon) or until what see you 'manage connections' (then click on the icon and click the box Mobile network).

  First of all, I hope you guys talk app FM Radio which is available under "Music" app on the phone.

  To only stop FM Radio, you can do 2 things

  1. simply pull on the helmet. This will automatically stop FM Radio application. The headphones are essential for FM Radio because they act as anenna. Without headphones, FM Radio does not work.

  2. you can press the "Helmet" icon in the middle in black and white the '+' and '-' search buttons. Agree that this is not very intuitive. This will also stop the FM Radio app.

  Come back home and go to the app, I don't see the application initializes as it has been mentioned in this thread. Let us know if that works. Thank you.

  I have a computer Satellite A30 laptop that I recently installed an ATHEROS 802.11A/B/G internal Mini PCI card. It came with the Atheros Client Utility, I have also installed. Everything seems OK with the map and shows to work OK in Device Manager, but I can't get on the radio to the A30. (Enable radio is grayed out on the utility)

  Having read the manual about it and it shows giving the WiFi switch and also by using the Fn + F8 keys to enable, but it is impossible to get anything to work.

  There should be a light on adjacent to the WiFi switch but it remains off anytime... Any ideas what the problem may be?

  I seem to remember reading somewhere that a Registry Fix may be necessary to activate the switch from WiFi to the A30, is the problem? If so, where the patch is available from. Have tried to search on the net but no joy so far.

  the problem is these maps as the atheros cards doesn´t to work correctly with the your machine mini-pci bus, so the hardware switch is not able to trigger the map in Active mode.

  Does not WT200 Tablet contain a physical switch to turn on WLan. You must ensure that the communications function wireless (in Win 7 settings) is enabled!

  You can do this in the start menu-> Control Panel-> network and internet-> network and sharing Center
  Here, press Set new connection or a network

  At least, you should go to: start-> all programs-> Toshiba-> network & connectivity-> Wlan indicator settings

  Recently I've upgraded to Windows Vista 64 bit because I bought the additional RAM. I downloaded the drivers for my USB wireless adapter (which is a WUSB54GR), but they do not come with Wlan Manager. I tried to install the WiFi Manager since XP drivers, but it won't work.

  The reason why I want this to work is that there are several SSID on my network with the same name, and I want to choose the best of them. Vista indicates the name once only and does not automatically select one that suits, and now I have lag spikes in games like World of Warcraft.

  A good third work program would also work I guess, or a vista/hotfix patch for it.

  Thanks for the reply. After some research more, I found out it was something else that caused the lagspikes.
  Windows Vista checks to see if there is a best available wireless connection every minute or so.

  I downloaded a little program called WLAN Optimizer .do, it runs in the background now and my connection works great.
