  I recently created a new website which includes a form of Muse widget. Once downloaded to the host (Network Solutions) have discovered that the form works (i.e., don't get an error message that the form is not filed), but never got an email from the submission (tried to many e-mail different addresses and none). Have loaded the same form on another site that I also run hosted by Network Solutions and it works perfectly. Any suggestions on why this is happening and how can I make it work on the original site.

  Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

  I used the widget of the standard contact form in Muse for a client on their website for a few months now. I currently have this set up on one of their pages where the form then performs a redirect to a confirmation page - allowing the visitor to download a PDF once to reach this page. Unfortunately, tU its does not enter a wrong email address in the form and management always to access the confirmation page.

  Therefore, the client asked that the email address that is entered in the form by the visitor sends an e-mail customized to that address, with a clickable link to the PDF download.

  This confirmation email is possible within the Muse? I really hope that I don't want to go back to square one with their online form.

  Unfortunately we can not control human spammers with incorrect email addresses. Autoresponders send the bidder with pdf link to download is possible if you use BC accommodation as BC includes this feature, but if the site is transferred to a third party then you should customize this or use third party forms.

  I see your online form doesn't have a recaptcha, you can use recaptcha to reduce to submission of spam. You must add recptcha to your online form and publish the web page. Here is a step by step guide that shows how to do this.

  Did someone come up with a solution to the ongoing problem between Forms Adobe Muse and GoDaddy hosting? I just spent an hour with GoDaddy and they said everything on their end was working. It was a script problem. I can't get all the answers from Adobe or GoDaddy.

  I posted this on another thread.  I hope that your issue has been resolved now and that you will not need to read this.  Whatever it is, it was my simple solution.

  There is an easy solution if you use hosting of GoDaddy and you use a hosted non-GoDaddy email address to receive forms.  Just a warning, this only works if you use GoDaddy Web hosting and forms of the Muse.  This isn't a problem with Muse for as long as it is a setting that needs to be adjusted on all that the host you are using.

  1. Place the shape in the Muse. Make sure to add the correct settings, that is, the e-mail address that will receive the forms.
  2. Next step is to navigate to your cPanel on GoDaddy.  This is where you manage your web hosting.
  3. On the main page of cPanel, scroll up to where it says ": Email".
  4. Click on "MX", which is located just below the 'accounts '.  This is the mail server setting.  By default, GoDaddy assume you are using a GoDaddy mail account.
  5. Make sure "Remote mail server" is checked on and that "Local mail server" is turned off.
  6. Your form should now be functional.

  The problem with the forms of the Muse and GoDaddy is that GoDaddy assumes that you will welcome your emails via GoDaddy.  If you have configured an e-mail address for your shape in the Muse that isn't an e-mail address hosted GoDaddy, GoDaddy and then do not accept by default. You must give permission to GoDaddy to send a form to what GoDaddy considers that an email "at a distance".

  I hope this works for anyone who has struggled with form when using of Muse forms that are hosted on GoDaddy servers.

  I'm trying to get some forms on a clients site.  He just wants an e-mail form and a postage labels, nothing too fancey submission form.

  I used Adobe Muse forms and they work a treat, by sending the contents of the form. My first question is, with the full report Adobe (the £46 per month with all software), there are no fees for these forms in a site is there?

  Second, the client wants some check boxes and combo boxes, somhting that muse custom forms.  I found called home "Web Forms" that allows me to create a form, but there seems to be loads attached to it?  y at - it a free version?

  I built a website for a client, using Adobe Muse, which is hosted by Business Catalyst. On the page of the site contact us I placed an Adobe Muse 'Single Contact' widget/shape with 3 three fields: name, Email and Message. The form worked as expected until the end of December 2014. Since then, the information in the 'Email' field are changed.

  
  

  The site has four different e-mail accounts through Business Catalyst. For the sake of discussion to call them:

  The Messages from the Simple of Muse's Contact form are sent to [email protected] .  When emails are displayed in Business Catalyst "Webmail" e-mail address that was entered in the field "E-mail" from Simple Contact Forms does not appear in the field "from". Instead, the "from" field shows that the e-mail was sent from may[email protected] regardless of what was concluded, by the sender in the Email of the Contact single form field. It don't make any difference this provider of e-mail address is entered in the field - AOL, Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail, Roadrunner, etc - they are all changed to [email protected]

  The e-mail field you see in BusinessCatalyst is not filled by the customer in the e-mail of the form field.

  As far as I understand it, it is the e-mail ID used to publish the site through Muse. So change 'to' email field in Muse won't change 'from' email in British Colombia.
