X100e win xp pro usb installation problem

Hello everyone, I'm new here and I'm sorry for not having introduced myself properly drunk it is an urgent situation.

A few days ago, I bought the Netbook from Lenovo x100e

Product ID: 35086AG

MV40(1.6GHz) Athlon, 1 GB of RAM, HD 160 GB at 5400 RPM LCD 11.6 in 1366 x 768 screen, ATI Radeon HD2200, 802.11bgn wireless, extensible WWAN, Bluetooth, 1 Gb Ethernet UltraNav, 3 c Li - ion, WinXP Home 32

Here is the link to download driver for this netbook lenovo site:

http://www-307.IBM.com/PC/support/site.WSS/quickPath.do?quickPathEntry=35086AG

NetBook came with preinstalled Win. XP Home edition and I was going to install Win. XP Professional.

So I created bootable USB stick Win. XP Pro. installation (cause this netbook is not the internal cd drive) and initialized at startup and begin the installation.

Installation went smooth-> I chose C partition, formatted it and after the following formatting message appears:

"The value of the following in the." SIF file used by Setup is
damaged or missing:
A value of 0 on the line in the [SourceDiskFiles] section
with the key "SSA.exe."
Setup cannot continue. To quit Setup, press F3. »

So, as you can see, I can not continue with the installation, and the problem is the drive is already formatted and I have nothing on it, no BONES with nothing.

Please help cause I need laptop soon.

  1. Use support XP vanilla as the source, copy the contents of the CD on a work PC
  2. Add to that the ATI/AMD AHCI drivers using nLite
  3. You can use usb multiboot for creating usb installation media

And then manually install the driver strictly necessary to connect to the internet

Finally, download, install and run the update of lenovo.

I had the same problem when working on a clients computer.

So you want to make sure that your computer is virus-free

    (2) in most Windows 8 HP computers in particular, drivers automatically installs on the computer.

  • P10-804: driver under XP Pro SP1 installation problem

Had a hard drive crash, so I had to reinstall everything and decided to abandon the XP home to XP Pro.
    I have download all the drivers from this site (following options: laptop product type;) Family by Satellite; Series of products P; Model P10; Xp Pro operating system. Driver type Country UK. Language English;
Install Xp and then set about installing the drivers.
Unfortunately, many of them produce a message "can not be installed on this system.

    More precisely:
Touch Pad on / off says "cannot install this version of the key we / Off utility to your system.
Management of the Bus system says "integrated the SM bus driver is not compatible with cards of Bus SM installed on your system"
Standby power controls said 'Impossible to install this version of the Toshiba Power utility by integrating your system'
and there was another which I don't remember.

Therefore, the device manager tells me that
Other devices: device Base system; SM Bus controller. and (USB) Universal Serial Bus controller do not installed the drivers.

Why the these drivers are not compatible with my system?
Where can I get the proper drivers from?

    TFAI

PS: And in addition, is not at all clear how to install the driver for the SD memory card (there is no .exe)

    Hello

    First of all something about the installation of the reader;
You need not always all .exe files for installing the driver. If the setup.exe is not available, you must install the drivers in Device Manager. There, you have to choose the device and install the driver.

I m not 100% sure why you can not install the drivers but it is very important that you need to install drivers in the correct order. The chipset driver must be installed at the beginning.
Also, I noticed that there are several driver updates. For example of the Touchpad, utility, energy saving, etc., you must use the right version. (latest version)?

Also check the update of Microsoft Windows XP SP2 fact sheet.

    Good luck

  • Windows 8 Pro OEM installation problem

    Hello

My PC configuration is what Intel i3, 8 GB of RAM, 1 TB drive. I recently purchased Windows 8 Pro (64-bit) OEM a re-seller on Amazon. The product key is with the disc. When I try to install using the disc, I face below - question

Boot from the DVD drive where the OEM disc
PC boots with blue Windows 8 logo
PC remains at this screen for 2-3 minutes, then stops. No error message indicated.
Restart the PC in 10 seconds and the foregoing continues

Could someone please explain how to install this drive OEM Windows 8 Pro. Do I really need Windows 8 Kit OPK (OPK)

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards
    Pranav

The OEM preinstallation Kit is not necessary since you use it for personal use.

OEM licenses must be installed by professional system manufacturers. Under Microsoft's OEM license agreement, they should not be sold to end-users under any circumstances, must be preinstalled on a computer using the preinstallation OEM (OPK) before delivery to the customer and include to the at least the manufacturer contact information.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/OEM/en/licensing/sblicensing/pages/licensing_for_hobbyists.aspx

    --------------------------------

As to why the installation failed:

If you have compatible hardware and your computer still stops responding, disable any unnecessary material. Remove (USB) universal serial bus devices. Remove or disable network cards, sound cards and cards of the series; and then restart the installation.

You can also try to reduce the amount of RAM you have installed, and you try to install the new.

  • Wireless using Photosmart 7280 AIO and Photosmart 3210 AIO USB - installation problem

I use Windows XP sp2. The 7280 is new, so I was told HP support completely uninstall all my computer HP software, then install more software 7280, then use the menu option 'Add device' on the installation software of 7280 again to install the 3210. I have installed suceesfully 7280 software and am able to access the 7280 on my wireless LAN. However, when I use the installation of 'Add device' in the installation software, I get the dialog box 'Connect Your Device Now' (following the instructions for the installation of the USB) and when I connect the USB to my 3210 to the computer, I get the Windows Wizard 'addition of material", which is unable to locate the drivers for the 3210. The button 'Next' in the 'Connect Your Device Now' dialog box is not enabled, so I can't continue. It seems strange to me that Windows identifies the device but the HP software does not see. The 3210 is not in my list of printers in Windows.

Even more strangely, yesterday I ran the base driver and utility download for the 3210 off the coast of the HP site after installing the 7280 software (probably shouldn't have done) and everything worked, I was able to print on both devices, however this morning when I turned on the computer I got a HP dialog box telling me that the installation failed and it can uninstall some software including all drivers 3210.

Any suggestions? What I have to spend 2 + hours to uninstall and reinstall from the beginning again?

Well, I think that I solved, at least as well as is possible. I just uninstalled, installed all the 3210 drivers downloaded from HP, then install the software suite full 7280. Both printers are available and print jobs, but the HP Solution Center software only allows me to access the AIO 7280, so I guess I won't be able to scan from my 3210 on my computer - I have to use the 7280 for this. I didn't install the software suite full of the 3210 - maybe that would give me two centers solutions HP (two different versions), one for the 3210 and one for the 7280...

Incidentally, I don't have the CD 3210 - I think I have lost - so I'm dependent on the HP download page.

  • XP SP3: "access denied" to \System32 programs command-line, device USB Installer problem

    Hi all

I recently had some problems with file/folder permissions after the removal of some trojan virus and now it looks like system & user permissions are scrambled for important system files into \Windows.

    The symptoms are:
-Windows cannot install any driver of all new storable USB device that I connect to my computer, only the previously used one are recognized and properly displayed in the Explorer. For any I get a message saying that Windows cannot find the driver, even if I manually pick up the correct driver to the correct location, it does not install.
-I can not throw more my computer-> right button Device Manager, I get a message saying that it cannot be launched, but I always open it manually goes \System32 to reach the file.
-From the command line, I get an "access denied" to any program of system, I try to use, such as SECEDIT to reset as described in file permissions:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/313222

If someone knows how to fix these on \Windows file/folder permission issues?
