X230i looking for Hotkey drivers
I downloaded all the drivers from Lenovo Web site, so I can install a new OS. Unfortunately, the Hotkey drivers appear to be missing; Unlike other downloads it does not contain a link to a file in the list (look here http://download.lenovo.com/express/ddfm.html in the matrix of the driver for example).
I found the Hotkey drivers for almost all other models; is it possible to install them instead?
You are welcome.
Believe me, you can refuse to load and install all Lenovo sw or driver TVSU but this app will make you save a lot of time and even relieve unnecessary sw loading and drivers for your laptop model and the version of the OS.
TVSU is one of "must have" application. May be the last IBM personnel.

Looking for missing drivers after downgrading
I got a new HP Envy 700 - 030qe CTO of Windows 8 for Windows 7.
First question: is there a place I can get ALL the compatible drivers for this machine on Win7? I'm sure that HP sold this machine exactly (or almost exact) a few months ago with Win 7 on it? If someone can tell me the model number then I could order the recovery for her disc, hopefully. I have a legal copy of Win7 with license key, all I need is the drive to recover to Win7. Even if this is not correct, it would be closer to that you are looking for a bunch of missing drivers one by one.
Second question:
I could find most of the drivers except something that presents itself as a USB controller (although most of the USB ports seems to work, maybe all of them). Any idea what to try for this HP drivers:
CONTROLLER USB - Hardware ID
PCI\VEN_8086 & DEV_8C31 & SUBSYS_2AF3103C & REV_04
PCI\VEN_8086 & DEV_8C31 & SUBSYS_2AF3103C
PCI\VEN_8086 & DEV_8C31 & CC_0C0330
PCI\VEN_8086 & DEV_8C31 & CC_0C03
Pointers are greatly appreciated!
Thank you.
Hello:
You need the USB driver.
There are no models with the motherboard in your PC with W7 drivers.
Even if there were, the recovery of one of these models discs would not work on yours.
W7 drivers you need:
First install the chipset driver and restart.
Graphics card:
Try this audio driver:
Wired network. Download and install the driver 4th on the list.

I'm looking for XP drivers for a model of p6550z pavilion WS324AV #ABA
.. .so I can ditch W7 64-bit. processor is amd quad core, who knows who made the motherboard? I looking for the site of the manufacturer of the motherboard, or material component by component, although this is doomed to failure. Another solution is to install linux and virtual box it contains, and then install an XP VM, but that would be slower.
Hello:
Your PC is not taken in charge by HP for anything other than windows 7.
You will need to get the drivers from the websites of the RMP of the device.
The hardest part for you will be to get XP to install even unless you know either how to get the AMD SATA driver slipstreamed a copy of your XP disc. You can read a guide for this at the link below:
Or if you can change SATA from AHCI to IDE emulation settings, you will be able to install XP but you will paralyze the hard disk performance.
Looking at the hardware on your PC, here are links to the drivers you need.
Chip set. First download listed. This should also contain the AHCI drivers it takes to integrate, but you must check out them of the file using a program like 7-zip.
Once (if) you get installed XP, then re - run the file to load the other drivers of the motherboard.
http://support.AMD.com/us/gpudownload/Windows/pages/raid_windows.aspx#4
Video: Simply choose the video card you have and that you use the drop-down menu at the top right to get the XP driver.
http://support.AMD.com/us/pages/AMDSupportHub.aspx
Audio: Accept the agreement. Download and install the 7 listed article (a first in green).
Network: Download and install the listed 7th file (XP auto install).

Envy 17 t n000: HP Support Assistant looking for new drivers
HP yesterday released a huge batch of updates to driver for my laptop. However, when I use my HP Support Assistant to check updates, it only returns three of them, considering that there are at least 20 put updated on the download page. How to solve this problem? I tried to reinstall the framework and HP support assistant, but it did not help.
Sorry, but you are misled by confusing information on the support page.
The date that you need to check that appears when you click the Details area.
For example, the first entry of Driver-Chipset has yesterday date - but when you click on the Details box, you see that it is actually released in July - more than six months ago. So, in this case, HPSA not consider this as a new pilot.
And please don't ask why they have two different dates - I have run in the same situation and I have no answers for that.
I'm a volunteer and I do not work for, or represent, HP.
