  • OfficeJet pro l7580 load multiple pages

I have trouible occasionally with my loading several pages OfficeJet l7580.  I did a search and found the subject, but the image and the description of how to clean the rollers and the separator button did not correspond to what looks like my L7580.  Or maybe that I don't see how to get open.

The url with the image of the printer is:

I took a picture of what my L7580 looks like with the door open, but I don't have a url I can to load.

You should be able to lift the upper part of the ADF and open this area with the firm applied pressure. Once opened, these areas must be cleaned with a fluffy like a coffee filter.

The ADF door may not want to move, but should be open if you pull it gently.

  • OfficeJet 4500: OfficeJet 4500 print black

    Any solution?

  • HP OfficeJet 4500 Wireless: OfficeJet 4500 Wireless does not print

I just inherited this printer and it's a step above my F380, I installed it.

It scans very well and sending scans to the computer, but when I try to print or copy, even if it goes through the process (the book covers and print heads move back and forth) nothing appears on paper.

The cartridges that came with the printer I record as being almost 100% and I ran print and scan doctor nothing is done.  The Test Page 'prints' white also.

Is there anything else I can try before you buy new cartridges?

  • HP L7580 do not print CYAN

My HP L7580 prints is more CYAN.  New ink cartridge does not help.  Cleaned heads with the HP utility twice to no avail.  Ran the HPHDU.exe and the HPPSDR.exe, and the two show "all is well".  A ran "OficejetProL7580_R2011PxN.exe" Flash RAM - no difference.  Suggestions?

    Hey MikeSNJ,

Looks like you already did some troubleshooting to this problem.  According the description, looks like the Cyan/Magenta in the L7580 printhead has a plugged port or goes wrong.

However, I would check the linked document here, for the resolution of problems in the L7580 printing quality.

If you arrive at Six Solution: replace one or two print heads, then you will have a choice at this point.

The print heads can be ordered by clicking here and are roughly US $ 80 each.  At this point, you can choose to buy a new printhead to see if that will resolve the issue or buy another printer.  If you decide to go with another printer, be sure to call HP Technical Support on the upgrade program by which you can get a newer refurbished HP printer, with a full factory warranty, at a discounted rate.  If you are in the USA / Canada, then the number to dial is 1-800-474-6836.  If you are not in this area, please click here.

    I hope this helps.

  • Printer AIO L7580 irremovable way carriage stuck to the right of the printer

I have a hp L7580 all-in-one who served me for many years. All of a sudden the printer carriage has become irremovable way stuck at the right end of the race, under a cover which can be removed only with great difficulty. None of the fixes suggested here or elsewhere, help at all (I tried), nor really solve the problem I have. They all seem to assume that the transport can still be moved manually. In my case, it's completely motionless, as if something had really stuck below. During switching on the printer produces noise grinding than he ever has before and who suggest he tries to move the cart. and then error message 'transport jam '. I suspect that some piece of plastic broke the wagon and stuck it moves. If there is a problem I can fix it myself, well and good; If this isn't the case, I have a printer Canon brand new, waiting to be unpacked and installed. Any suggestions that don't require me to spend money on this printer are welcome. Thanks in advance.

    Hi ewbd,

I understand that you have an Officejet L7580 which currently holds a cart that won't be moved. I'm sorry to hear what is happening but will do my best to guide you to the next step.

Thank you informing him of what you tried so I don't waste your time by offering the same things again and again. If you are able to remove the cover and you can't see nothing physically blocking the cart moves, there is not a lot that you will be able to do. You can take a look on YouTube as tech people will often post some videos on how to take the printer apart looking for the broken and other pieces.

However, I believe that your printer sounds like it be managed at end and it may be best to move to the next printer.

Thanks for posting in the Forums of HP, and I hope you have a nice day!

I have a month old HP OfficeJet Pro 6830.  I get the following error: "ERROR: problem with printhead.

    I tried the following:

I have need ideas on what to do next, or if I should just return this printer to die after a month of domestic use.

    Hi Betsy,

I found a document that talks about this problem.  He recommended that the reset of the printer that list you as something you did.

  • change the printheads on officejet 8500

the carriage does not move to the left automatically change the printheads. Where is the OK 'button? Is it the OK that appears when you press the icon of ink on the screen?  If so, holding a 5 seconds contact screen with this OK does nothing.

    Hello

What is your exact printer model?

If it's the HP Officejet Pro 8500 (A909a), you should press and hold OK Phisical once we open the door of prithead.

For HP Officejet 8500 Wireless or Premium (A909g/A909n) you need to press and hold the * button for 5 seconds.

Once the door is open, take a look at the screen, it should tell you what exact button to press.
