X230T: on the mobile screen keyboard not more

Dear community,

I have a problem with the screen touch keyboard on of the X230T. I can't move more by using your finger or the stylus. It is always possible to move with the touch pad. Also the "dock" - option is disabled.

Someone at - it solution or someone can tell me what driver I have to reinstall the screen keyboard on? What is a Windows or a Wacom component?

Thank you!

Good, solved. For those who have the same problem: seems to be Microsoft's fault. The solution is described here:

  • DELL C2665dnf - the touch screen does not

Little more than a year from the model already replaced is not the first time under warranty.

Can no longer use the touchscreen. No crack, no damage, peripheral is covered on every night when not in use.

Dell technical support were without help, absolutely no idea on the machine. After 10 minutes he asked that the device look like really! Much like our dell above us support response referring to the manual which does not cover our problem.

Has tried for 2 hours to explain the technical assistance that the touch screen did not work, but he insisted, I tried printing from different computers, reinstall the drivers, try different network cables, reset.

At the end that I hung up in frustration, because he just couldn't understand, there was a touch screen.

My only job around our dud machines is to install Dell Document Hub and control everything from your desktop. It's the only way I can scan now. Not sure about fax I do not use this feature.

    Hi Longpo,

    1. what happens when you try to print?

    2. you receive an error message/code?

Printing problems can be caused by cables that are not properly connected, corrupt, drivers, incompatible drivers, the printer settings, missing updates and problems with your printer. Refer to the help article and check if that helps.
