  • Internet does not connect to Google Sites?

My family knew well poor internet for about a month and yesterday that we had a new router and now the internet in our home. With the exception of my MacBook Air. Loading of some sites, like apple's site and my favorites loading (sometimes), but I can't at all google search. Can not I use YouTube, gmail, etc.. I know there are a lot of similar problems, but they are not as accurate as mine. This problem is not only on Chrome, Google pages does not work on Safari and Firefox.

I have a trustworthy application that I can sweep through files and find viruses, and it showed clean.

I also tried to re - download Chrome, no change. I tried on other accounts of Chrome, and I tried to empty my cache and my story and nothing. I tried completely restart my computer, let it remain closed, I checked the updates on the two Chrome and the computer itself, but nothing.

Works very well in our internet, it's super fast on my iPhone and on my family member's computers. Although, if I disconnect and reconnect to the internet, and then immediately as he reconnects, I update the page loading pages. Sometimes, I have to do this several times for pages to load. It's not really ideal. Videos don't work at all, the refreshing splash page.

The strange thing is - I can still receive and send emails, I can connect to the origin to play Sims 4, can I still use iMessage, etc.. This isn't a problem with the internet.

This computer is only around the age of 9 months, and this is the second time I had a problem with the internet (the last time the IP is wack but it attaches somehow after a month or two).

I'm racking my brain for a solution, I need to be able to use internet, most of my homework is on the internet.

(Home: the error message I get on Chrome)

You may have installed one or more variants of the malware "VSearch' ad-injection. Please back up all data, and then take the steps below to disable it.

Do not use any type of product, "anti-virus" or "anti-malware" on a Mac. It is never necessary for her, and relying on it for protection makes you more vulnerable to attacks, not less.

Malware is constantly evolving to work around defenses against it. This procedure works now, I know. It will not work in the future. Anyone finding this comment a couple of days or more after it was published should look for a more recent discussion, or start a new one.

VSearch malware tries to hide by varying names of the files it installs. To remove it, you must first identify the naming model.

1 triple - click on the line below on this page to select, then copy the text to the Clipboard by pressing Control-C key combination:

    /Library/LaunchDaemons

    In the Finder, select

Go ▹ go to the folder...

from the menu bar and paste it into the box that opens by pressing command + V. You won't see what you pasted a newline being included. Press return.

A folder named "LaunchDaemons" can open. Search inside the files with the name of this form:

    com.something .net - preferences.plist

Here, something is a string, which may be different in each instance of VSearch random meaningless. So far it has always been an alphanumeric string without punctuation signs, such as "disbalance" or "thunderbearer."

You may have more than one copy of the malware, with different values of something.

There may be one or more files with the name of this form:

    com.somethingelseUpd.plist

where George can be an empty string of sense that something different. Yet once, there may be more than one file of this type, with different values of Gisele.

Here is a typical example of an infection VSearch:

    com.disbalance .net - preferences.plist

    com.thunderbearerUpd.plist

You will have files with similar names, but probably not identical to these.

If you feel confident that you have identified the above files, back up all data, and then drag the files - nothing - to the trash only. You may be prompted for administrator login password. Close the Finder Windows, and then restart the computer.

Do not delete the folder 'LaunchDaemons' or anything else inside, unless you know you have another type of unwanted software and more VSearch. The file is a normal part of Mac OS X. The "demon" refers to a program that starts automatically and runs without direct user intervention. This is not necessarily bad.

2 reset the home page in each of your browsers, if it has been modified. In Safari, first load the desired home page, then select

    ▹ Safari preferences... ▹ General

    and click on

    Set on the current Page

The malware is now permanently inactivated, as long as you reinstall it never. A few small files will be left behind, but they have no effect, and trying to find all them is more trouble that it's worth.

    3. If you do not find the files or you are not sure about the identification, after what you have found.

If in doubt, or if you have no backups, change nothing at all.

    4. the trouble may have started when you have downloaded and run an application called "MPlayerX." It is the name of a legitimate free movie actor, but the name is also used fraudulently to distribute VSearch. If there is an element with that name in the Applications folder, delete it. I do not recommend to install the genuine "MPlayerX", because it is hosted on the rogue 'SourceForge' site and is bundled with other malware.

This Trojan horse is often found on the illegal Web sites that traffic in content such as movies pirated. If you, or anyone else who uses the computer, visit these Web sites and follow the instructions to install the software, you can expect more of the same and worse, to follow. Never install software that you downloaded from a bittorrent, or which has been downloaded by someone else from an unknown source.

In the aspect of security & confidentiality of system preferences, select the general tab. The marked anywhere radio button should not be selected. If this is the case, click the lock icon to unlock the settings, and then select an other keys. After that, do not ignore a warning that you are about to run or install an application from an unknown Director.

Then, still in system preferences, open the pane of the App Store or software update and check the box marked

Install the system data files and security updates (OS X 10.10 or later version)

    or

Automatically download the updates (OS X 10.9 or earlier version)

If it is not already done.

  • Internet does not connect unless it is directly connected to the computer

    This problem occurred yesterday.

Internet has suddenly stopped working. Things were going to turn power off, then on and distributed. I did check the lights on the modem and the router, but they were all working well. I have plugged on both computers. This does not solve it. I called Charter to see if there was a failure. Unfortunately, it's a message auto troubleshooting which I have materialized with. He had me hang my modem directly to my computer. This solved my problems of the internet.

I went to sleep for the night in the hope that the internet, or what the question was, would fix itself. He did not. The internet still works only if it is directly connected to the computer.

There are other people who need to use the internet here. (Invoices, work schedules and other) So maybe it's very much a problem. Any other computer or phone, will work in the House.

What is a router problem or a cable, or...?

If your connection works when you plug the modem but not through the router, this indicates a problem with the router.   This could be a hardware failure or a configuration problem.  A problem with the cable between the modem and the WAN port on the router is possible, but unlikely.  It wouldn't hurt to check if she.  Most routers have a reset button recessed.  I suggest that you reset the router and reinstall as if new.  If this fails, you probably need to replace the router.

Depending on your technical knowledge, you can also log in to the router and check the status information.

  • Satellite L450D-128 - Wireless internet does not connect

    Hello

I have a Toshiba Satellite L450D-128 and it won't let me connect to a wireless network and I can't find the switch wireless and ive tried FN + F8, but it does not work. Could you please help.

    Thank you Ryan

    Hello Ryan

I don't know what version of Win7 do you use and what can be the problem of using WLAN but if you use original recovery image, everything should work properly.

At first check please if the wireless network card is installed correctly. You can check in the Device Manager.
If the wireless network adapter is installed correctly, it must be enabled. Usually, this can be done by using the FN + F8 key combination.
    >.. .and ive tried FN + F8, but it does not work
What does not work exactly? You have problem with the FN keys in general or just using FN + F8?

When you press the FN key you find cards flash at the top of the screen?

  • Xbox One does not connect to the Live

A few days ago I turned on my Xbox and it wouldn't connect to live and was not able to connect again since and it gets frustrating.

I tried to restart. By using the controller to turn off, using the stop on the left side bar option and disconnect the wall - I ended up leave it unplugged all night because weather network calls for thunder. I tried to update, it is said that he got the most recent update. I did all the tests of connection and they all say that the Xbox is connected to the internet and the multiplayer. I tried to hit the big button "Connect to Live" on the right side of the home screen. My direct subscription is not until the beginning of June of 2017. I tried to delete my network wireless of my console and setting it back up. It has nothing to do with my router because I can connect to Live on my 360, I used yesterday to watch Netflix. I tried Googling this but I came empty - is calls solution for me to have some kind of error code from or I already tried the solution and nothing has changed.

Please please please someone help me.

  • Gamepad Xbox One does not connect

I don't really know what to do with this problem.

The other day I decided I would start using my Xbox controller instead of the 360 one to play on the PC, because he feels a lot better. I have downloaded the drivers, plugged my micro-USB cable and everything worked fine. When I sat down to play again the next day, all of a sudden, it wouldn't connect. I've tried everything I can think of since then to operate; I uninstalled and re downloaded drivers about 5 or 6 times, I bought a new cable (make sure it's a cable of data, not only for the charge transfer), I reconnected my controller to my Xbox and then plugged back on the PC and nothing. The controller vibrates and refuses to record on the PC.

I really have no idea what what done somehow or what to do about this, especially because it worked once then decided that he did not want to work more.

After some fiddling with more that I managed to refine the question - it turns out that the front USB ports on my PC is dead, at least for the data transfer. I finally plugged my controller via a rear USB port and it works fine.

Thanks for the help anyway Sayan_Ghosh.

  • Satellite L350 - does not connect to internet

    Hiya all

Had the laptop about 3 months now and still connected fine to my wireless internet. But recently he has stopped to connect to wireless internet.
I can't find my wifi connection, but it does not connect to it. My parents have the same laptop, purchased at the same time and can use it on the same wifi with no problems.
My sister has also no problems to connect to my wifi on his cell phone, neither does my Xbox 360 or my iPod Touch.
I can connect my laptop directly via ethernet to the router, but it's not ideal for me, and also I couldn't find automatic updates to download.

Can someone help me with this please?

    Thank you very much!
    Ethan

    I agree with Akuma.
Try to update the things said Akuma.

Visit the Toshiba for the BIOS and driver update WLAN:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com => support download & => download drivers

The firmware on the router, you can find on the site of the factory.

App store, Safari and iTunes does not connect to the Internet after installing macOS Sierra

After upgrade 'OS X El Capitan' to "macOS Sierra" window only empty "App store" and page "Safari" made its appearance, no error message shows. store "iTunes" and "Dictionary" does not connect too.

    But Google chrome works well.

So have you tried the next steps in your original post that Safari does not work after installing macOS Sierra:

  • Wireless connects, but internet does not work

My wifi signal is strong. My computer says that it is connected. Diagnosis shows the signal is stable, but when I open a browser, it does not connect. It just seems to take forever, but nothing ever happens in Safari. Chrome has said, "there no internet connection. Your computer is offline. "and that Firefox says: 'server not found '.

I tried the Ethernet connection, but it's the same story. Computer indicates recognition signal, but it will never truly connect. It will connect in Safe Mode, however.

I don't know if this is related, but iTunes does not work either. I open and just get the reel spinning forever. It is said he is unresponsive, and I force quit.

Here is some information that might be useful:

-iPhones and MacBook in the House are fine to connect to Internet.

-My internet company just came and installed a new router/modem. We had a few problems before (this is why they came to reinstall the hardware), so I don't know if this has something to do with him or not.

Update: I indeed found firewall was the issue (the first time with updates of Firefox). I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but that no longer works.
Then I opened the application window of Norton Security (looking for information of firewall). I don't actually change or click on what to Norton. I decided to try to install again. This time, when I hit "Run" instead of "Save", the small window Norton popped up saying downloading is safe. Then he installed and opens very well.

It may be a quirk of Norton? Or by choosing run rather than save (and running after registration)?
