  I had a suggestion to install from the disc, but I have not all discs. If I could download it from somewhere and burn them then that would be nice, but the instructions on this page are pretty clearly that it should not be necessary to use disks. I should be able to do without signing in.

  So... what upward with who? Where should I go from here? Is it possible to do a regular recovery? Or bypass the Apple ID thing?

  Because the computer has been configured using Apple ID of your brother, it is bound to this ID. If you have never downloaded Yosemite, you can not install it. Ask your brother to insert his Apple ID, so you can get the computer operational again. Then, go to the App Store, sign in with your ID and check the purchases tab to see if the Yosemite is an option. If this is not the case, download El Capitan and see if it will install. If you want to do a clean install, quit the installer and the program below allows you to create a bootable USB key. Boot from it, wipe the hard drive and then install El Capitan.   Hello sanjaykaul, which would not be possible - once an email leaves your mail server is therefore more under your control.

  I'm familiar enough with FCPro X (using the latest version 10.2.3) but I saw something for this, I don't really want.

  When we are editing in a library, FCPro is automatic backup library every 10 or 15 minutes or more. (Don't know how many times, but not important here.)

  It's a good idea that Apple did this.  Always nice to have automatically saved versions.

  But what I found, is if we said, 10 different projects, we are working on--which means 10 different libraries on our hard drive FCPro creates these libraries for backup automatically on all 10 libraries!  Even if we have not opened a library for 6 months, it still gets automatic backups!

  Sometimes the backup of the library can be 30meg, or so, if we are changing for 3 hours - find us in each of the 10 libraries there are several automatic backups created - even you of course, nothing has changed in the library!  Maybe 8 of the 10 have not yet opened and yet in the "Final Cut Backups" folder, there will be a few hundred meg of backups automatically: of course it must, because backups are in libraries, we haven't yet opened!

  I know not how to disable this feature - so FCPro stops auto - and we can do separately in each library - but that's a lot of extra work, remembering that libraries are "automatically backup" and which are not.

  I guess I want to come is that we would like FCPro continue to automatically back up the libraries that we change in French - but I'm correct that it also backs up the libraries that we don't even open using hundreds of megs of useless data.

  All I want is the feature of works as is, but only when opening a library - NOT in others who have not been affected.

  I am writing to be sure I understand it.  This doesn't seem to be the case?  Is there a way to tell FCPro (not for each library separately) only to make automatic backups in I work in libraries?

  Thank you for reading this... what I hope I am WRONG!  And there is a workaround or something?  It's just a nuisance to have to remember to turn on all the automatic backups on 'OFF' of each library - but then activate it when you work on 1 or 2 - and then turn them off again.

  All 10 libraries appear in the library list? If they are, why not close those that you don't need for this session?

  That said, I never had what you describe. Where these libraries are stored? Is the drive (or drives) in the OS X Extended (journaled) format?

  I don't know if we implement this. Sharing of all the tabs you have open have many security and privacy issues. Someone forget that they had a tab open, they didn't want to share or miss-clicks on the sharing of all the option.

  We are looking for ways to better share tabs with devices that are located nearby. Especially if they are on the same WiFi network.

  Some things that might be relevant according to the answer...

  Sometimes Firefox 'hangs' when starting. The process is in memory but no longer works. In this case, you may need to use the Windows Task Manager to 'kill' the process.

  • You can launch Windows Task Manager by pressing Ctrl + SHIFT + ESC.
  • First check the Applications tab, and then look under the tab process (for firefox.exe).
  • You can select the item of blocking and use the end task button or complete the process. Note that if Firefox were actually used, it could result in data loss, but since it is not yet displayed, it should be OK.

  Sometimes a firewall program control will block an update Firefox as being possibly modified by malicious software. In these cases, it can help to erase any reference to Firefox between the firewall and do detect again the application when you try to start it.

• I have version 9.0.1 on 2 pc, both xp sp3. 1 the button "open new tab" is visible, on the other hand, the "Open new tab" button is not yet available in the menu "Customize toolbar" drag / drop. Why?

  I used the same setup file, but on 1 pc, the "Open new tab" button is available in the menu 'Customize toolbar' and can be dragged and drop on the navigation bar. On the other pc, the "Open new tab" button/icon is not yet available for drag / drop. I uninstalled firefox completely, including the settings and preferences, then reinstalled, but that has not fixed the missing button.

  Please try to restore the default value in the Customize... window. If it is still not visible, one of the reasons could be that the button is already placed on the toolbar, but can be hidden behind a different icon or toolbar.

  No, because if you bought a new iPhone, then you need a SIM card to activate it before you can use the wifi applications.

  This is a phone after all, you don't need a sim card any to be able to activate it.

  If you want to make sure you have your bookmarks in FF4. You can always back up your bookmarks on your PC and import it in FF4 later:

  Bookmarks > organize bookmarks > export to HTML

  then save it anywhere in your PC.
