    You should try to include a web font, but you cannot use those during the creation of course, so when you publish or correct fonts you have alignment issues.

    Hello

    After trying for a while, I get it how to use FileConnection.mkdir () in my code.

    But I am facing a problem here. When the mkdir() is executed, it gives me FileIOException: file system error

    Here is my code that attempts to create a directory called myDir

    try {}
    FileConnection fc = (FileConnection) Connector.open ("file:///store/home/myDir", Connector.READ_WRITE);
    If (! fc.exists ()) {}
    FC.mkdir ();

    }
    } catch (Exception e) {}
    Dialog.Alert (try ());
    }

    I even tried to give the path like 'file:///store/home/myDir/' because I tried to create a directory. But it also gives the same exception.

    Please let me know if I'm doing one any mistake here.

    Thank you

    Hello

    I think the problem is... BlackBerry does not allow a directory to be created in the folder /store/ the device. Because I am able to create a directory in the directory/SDCard /.

    Is this something that we cannot create a directory in the root directory of the device?

    Hello

    I'm sorry to keep posting here because I'm trying various things in my code and got to know more. But I write as soon as I get a result, so that it can be useful for those who are looking for the same thing.

    I even tried to create a directory in/store/home/user/and it works fine. So that means, we need to create our directories in the directory/store/home/user or/SDCard /.

    Please correct me if I'm wrong.

    Thank you

    Can someone explain this in detail...
    When I tried to create the folder on the memory card or memory in the camera, it gives exception as file system error...
    Is it related to any authorization or specific parameters... ??

    Thanks in advance...

    Please make sure that the BlackBerry Simulator has been configured to support a micro SD card.  For this in the BlackBerry JDE by clicking on the menu Edition, by selecting Preferences, by clicking on the Simulator tab, then on the tab memory and filling of the size of the SD card and the SD card image settings.

    Hi yog123,

    The code you mentioned is valid, but I guess you make a small mistake here.

    Whenever you want to create a directory, you should give "/" after the name directory to inside the Connector.open)

    Just put "/" after the directory name "sp" in your code as shown below.

    FileConnection fconn = (FileConnection)Connector.open("file:///SDCard/BlackBerry/pictures/sp/",Connector.READ_WRITE);

    Please let us know if you still find no problem.

    Thank you

  • Different fonts between CS3 and CS5 on Win7 system using the same fonts directory

    I have several files created in Fireworks CS3 that work very well. Fonts are all installed in the directory system on my Win7 box.  This used to be a WinXP Pro box.

    I can load a file in Fireworks CS3 without a single question and text everything seems perfect. As it should.  Close the CS3 open CS5 and load the same file and CS5 tells me I must update my fonts.  Why?  Same system, the same fonts in the same font directory. Only thing that's changed, it's that I open the file (s) in CS5.

    The fonts look the same in CS5.  I'll have to redo all the Fireworks CS3 files so that it looks correct in CS5? If so, why?

    -Bob

    Here is a sample image of the way it is supposed to look like. The Swift gets watered. PlazaDUtil is the police. I'd hate to have to redo all my files logo.

    Before Fireworks CS4 used engine type of Macromedia. Adobe CS4 with impatience, introduced the adobe type engine to improve the handling/integration of text between AI FW and Psalm accordingly transition files CS3 to cs4 forces FW update policies.

  • Fonts for the folder in a dashboard

    I have included a folder directory in a dashboard. Everything works well... but I´d like to change the font for the report directory names (they increase the size), which are displayed to the user (click or select the report) so that it would look better for the user.

    Pls anyone knows if it's somehow possible?

    Based on the other post I assume you are using 11g.

    11g you will need to edit the file

    RES/sk_blafp/b_mozilla_4/common.CSS

    for the class CSS are the default values

    . HTMLBody {}
    do-family: Tahoma, without serif.
    do-size: 11px;
    }

    If it helps pls mark as correct

  • Fonts Photoshop CS5 folder?

    Hello

    Apart from the system fonts folder, is there another folder where I can put fonts for Photoshop (CS5, 64-bit) will recognize them?

    InDesign, for example, will recognize all the fonts that are here: C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe\Fonts

    Thank you very much

    Nope. From CS5 all apps are supposed to use the system fonts folder. Get a font manager, if you have too many fonts.

  • Is it possible to recover files deleted from your Recycle Bin, after the failure of the computer after the backup hard drive contained in the folder windows.old, including system files?

    Very well. My computer is messed up awhile back and my friend saved my whole hard drive, the files system and everything, then wiped and restored, then ALL put in a folder called "windows.old" that I can access my hard drive. So since he has saved the files system and everything, I'll be able to recover my old files I had deleted before it was erased, if (hopefully) they is not replaced? If so, what filepath can I go in?

    Hi thatonehxckid,

    The content in the trash is not saved in the folder windows.old during a custom installation.

    any ideas?

    don't ask me why I'm trying to delete the folder pls... I just need to

    Thank you

    Old post I know but I had this problem on several of my removable HDs, and finally I managed to remove the 'System Volume Information' folder:

    DO NOT DO THIS ON YOUR C: DRIVE OR YOUR WINDOWS HARD DRIVE!

    Right click on desktop, and then click [New-> shortcut]
    Write: cmd.exe

    Click [next] and then click [finish]

    Right click on cmd.exe icon, and then click 'run as administrator'
    Now select the external hard drive (f: in my case)

    C:\>f:

    Yes now the following (you can copy paste):
    F:\>attrib s h/s/d
    F:\>attrib - r/s/d
    F:\>Rd "System Volume Information" / s
    Are System Volume Information, you sure (Y/N)? There

    And you're DONE ;-)

  • the button new folder does not have System File Checker says no breach of integrity

    Mem of Windows 7 64 bit, Sony VAIO, 8 GB, the latest journals to install checked no found error. Keyboard shortcut for the new folder does not work, but good ciick new-folder is there and works. Said it was problem-no hard drive problems, File Checker said no violations. Did usual defrg, reg cleaner, virus scans, etc. New folder button Windows Explorer stopped working after I upgraded my backup of instant backup software Memeo Memeo Backup Premium. When I return at the moment (the button) works when I uninstall Instant, it works, but when I insall Premium button no longer works. Explore premium a integration of windows and instant does not work. I say that the problem is because of this, but of coarse Memeo said it's a hard drive issue or microsofts problem. No hard drive problem, it's almost all scanned and new directions. The registry is scanned. I played in windows since 3.0.Granted I'm not a programmer, but I put togeather computers (all Windows Basic) since the 1980s. Did do a little programming for timex sinclair Boy I'm giving my age :) away  I solved just a poblem resolved not technicians at Sony. They told me that my only option was to restore my computer to factory State and again UGH!  Found the problem of sony, a former .exe file which does not have ugraded when needed, the deleted files and the sony program now works fine!  If the ideas on my "new folder button?

    Found the answer! It was just like I thought Memeo Backup Premium has a subprogramme called backup that he mixes with the Explorer of Windows 7, uninstalled this (backup) and the new record button works again. Memeo people had me uninstall the rest of the software and gave me a link to download the software less backup. Now, I'm trying to find out if I will return my money or a fixed copy. No answer yet! But I don't think they work on Friday, so I'll have to wait beyond Monday to see if they're going to answer me. I tracked their problem they should pay me ;)

    I tried a lot of different format of the police, and none of them does not seem to work. I can use the font in all the other Adobe programs, but when I try to apply to the text in Muse, the police does not appear in the list of system fonts.

  • Application.Fonts.getByName () is not installed on the system fonts

    The situation:

    My colleague has a Mac and I work under Windows. We both use PS 5.1. Whenever I get a document he PS tell that not all fonts have been found. I'm doing a script that goes through all the textlayers and find these missing fonts.

    My problem:

    The script that loops through all the textlayers, find the font and checks using Application.fonts.getByName () if the police. The problem is that the Application.fonts.getByName () always succeeds and returns the police, even when it is not installed on my system. How is that possible? (When I try with a name completely bogus as "jklm" it will fail as expected)

    (In the future I would like to extend my script, so it can replace these fonts with another font of my choice.)

    The problem is that the fonts in the document are included in app.fonts, even if they are not on your system.

    I don't have CS5 to test and I don't know when the key to necessary action descriptor added so this may not work for you, but it works with Photoshop CC.

    function activeLayerFontMissing(){
        var ref = new ActionReference();
        ref.putProperty( charIDToTypeID( "Prpr" ), charIDToTypeID("Txt ") );
        ref.putEnumerated( charIDToTypeID("Lyr "), charIDToTypeID("Ordn"), charIDToTypeID("Trgt") );
        var desc = executeActionGet(ref);
        if(desc.count == 0) return -1;
        desc = desc.getObjectValue(charIDToTypeID("Txt "));
        return  desc.hasKey(stringIDToTypeID("substitutesUsed")) ? true:false;
    }

    Returns true is police is missing, false if it is on the system, and -1 if the layer is not a textLayer.

  • managed to remove the entire folder from left panel system

    Trying to solve another problem, I managed to delete my entire file system in the left panel. Can not seem to find a way to restore it. I immediately tried to cancel it, but it wasn't an option. The photos are still in the catalogue and on my hard drive in their respective folder. Tried to import a folder (on the move) but the main panel is grayed out.

    The word FOLDER no longer exist on the left panel.

    There, any help would be appreciated.

    Click on any panel header in the left panel and select new folder.

  • How to create a folder in the file system?

    Hi all
    How to create a normal file in the file of my PC system in a specific path?

    Host just passes the commands to the operating system; the simplest way to try would play a bit in the shell to understand what does not work...

    C:\>dir "I am"*
     Volume in drive C is System
     Volume Serial Number is 5C03-B54D

     Directory of C:\

    File Not Found

    C:\>cmd /c mkdir "c:\I am a directory"

    C:\>dir "I am"*
     Volume in drive C is System
     Volume Serial Number is 5C03-B54D

     Directory of C:\

    09/21/2010  02:38 AM              I am a directory
                   0 File(s)              0 bytes
                   1 Dir(s)     509,628,416 bytes free

    C:\>cmd /c mkdir "c:\I am a directory"
    A subdirectory or file c:\I am a directory already exists.

    C:\>

    or with the built-in host

    host('cmd /c mkdir "'||full_path||'"');

    But first, you need to check if the directory already exists as mkdir will throw an error if it exists, as you can see.

    see you soon
