But when I put in my installation CD it tells me it does not detect and and I have to restart my PC to fix but I've done this and it does not work, he also says keeping will install the driver but when I press anything, like express user install guide anything! He told me to go to www.xfxforce.com to download some driver type but this driver and or link does not exist. so im at a loss on what to do, I disabled my old chipset nothing and then I even uninstalled and there always the same question. My PC just does not detect! The graphics card is on and working very well... Help, please!

    Thank you.

AMD download will not work because the switchable graphics function depends on your use of the software and custom HP updated the driver. Somewhere in the fine print in the AMD Download Center you'll see that in a disclaimer notice.

The following is the version most recent available softpaq, which is compatible with your laptop.

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-105178-1&cc=us&DLC=en&LC=en&OS=4063&product=5185688&query=%20dv6-6B40EZ&sw_lang=&tool=

Do not install the driver separately softpaqs Intel and AMD. This will cause the switchable graphics feature will no longer function.

  • HP Pavilion dv6 issues with Radeon HD 6770 M

Hi, I had this problem with my PC.

I have my Radeon HD 6770 M who always seems to miss, and sometimes (in the driver manager), it has a small yellow triangle and contains an error. At the moment it doesn't have an error, it says it works fine, but every game I try the computer is forced to use the Intel HD Graphics, because it cannot find the Radeon. I solved once the problem, when I discovered that a lot of HPs have a problem with the compatibility with the Radeon and I needed a plu tweeked update from HP.com, that would be compatible.

That solved for a while, and my games might even have better graphics without slowing down (now, he collaborated with the Radeon instead of the single Intel HD). But today, I was about to start playing the game Deus Ex, and before you start, he asked me what graphics card I wanted to use, what brightness and Hz how I wanted to, and in the graphics options, she had that Intel and the Radeon are not the case to be found, and all the graphic now weaker need games to work fluidly (the graphics were lowered for some time but only today with this) Guest did I connect points and went it was again the Radeon).

I thought maybe the update again on HP.com, but I can't find my computer in the list.

All I want is to be able to use my best video card and update without worries.

    How can I solve this?

Sorry for such a long speech, here is some important info.

    Hello GuilhermeCosta,

You are experiencing a problem with your graphics card does not properly.

I do not know what settings have been changed before you were asked to select the graphics you want to use. It could have been an update that caused the problem start.

Here is a link to the graphic updates for your system.

You can also run a system restore.

This will bring the system back to when everything worked correctly without affecting any of your personal files.

Here is a link on how to do a restore.

By clicking on the White Star congratulations on the left is a way of saying thanks!

I would like to know how everything goes.

  • DV7t with Radeon HD 6770 M - can't rotate screen

    I have a HP DV7t - 6100 CTO Quad Edition

My graphics card is the Radeon HD 6770 M (1 GB)

I am running Windows 7 Professional (64 bit)

I want to turn my monitor 90 degrees (portrait style) but I found no option to do this:

I looked into display > screen resolution

In the option window, I see:

    Display

    Resolution

    Several screens

I have not seen an option for orientation.

Then I went to the ATI Catalyst Control Center.  I went through all of this and there is no option for the screen orientation or rotation.

Desktop and screens > Advanced display settings

There is an option here that is "select how Catalyst Control Center detects display devices" with options:

    (A) detect each Catalyst Control Center opening

    (B) the use of manual detection only (I must click detect displays)

It is currently set to option A.  There is nothing else in the menu pane.  I looked through the CCC all and I've seen the options to change things like video color settings or anti-aliasing, but nothing related to the orientation of the screen or the rotation.

I am lost on what to do next, and I would really like to be able to rotate my screen.  I tried to uninstall the graphics drivers, reboot, then download and install the latest drivers from the HP website.

    The video driver installed: sp55092 2011-11-18, Version: 8.882.2.3000, 338,97 M

Is it possible that this graphics card simply does not support screen rotation?  This seems to be a pretty basic feature for me, and I had a lot of computers with much older graphics cards that have the ability to do so.  Any help and feedback would be appreciated, thank you very much for your time!

  • HP Pavilion p7 - 1227c: GDDR5 graphics compatibility question card XFX Radeon R9 380 4GB with HP Pavilion p7 - 127c?

I bought this Radeon R9 380 4 GB from Ebay and installed it in my computer, but it won't work. Turn fans of the graphics card but the PC screen remains black. I contacted the seller who said that the video card has been tested prior to shipment and that it may be a compatibility issue with my PC. I know that this graphics card has a PCI Express 3.0 interface 16 x so that my PC has a PCI Express 2.0, but I don't think that this could be a problem.

Do you know if there is a problem of compatibility between the graphics card XFX Radeon R9 380 4 GB of GDDR5 memory and the HP Pavilion p7 - 127C?

Note: I move the power supply to 650W.

    @Astyx, welcome to the forum.

You are right that the PCIe 3.0 is backward compatible with PCIe 2.0.  However, your problem is the motherboard.  The Radeon card requires UEFI in the motherboard instead of a Legacy BIOS. The BIOS may not be walking in the UEFI.  PCIe 3.0 cards requiring UEFI will not work in any other location.  HP didn't start using UEFI until mid-October 2012.  The latest maps to exploit without UEFI are the GTX 660/670.

    Hi Kendoggy,

The video card is compatible with your computer (I've included a link to the plug to motherboard below), but the food is not compatible with the video card. • XFX Radeon 5770 1GB DDR5 HD Graphics Card failure

I ordered my birthday gift, a XFX Radeon 5770 1 GB DDR5 HD Graphics Card http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum/hardware-canucks-reviews/24204-xfx-radeon-hd-5770-1gb-gddr5-rev...
This is the second delivery because the first was duff. And if is it, or is it me?

My computer has only one PCI-EX16 slot and this card is PCI - E2 supposed to be compatible.
I installed a new PSU of 300w at 650w, and it also provides several plugs which is equipped with a record 75 6pin.

After the installation, I get a black screen, the card works as I can see the fan turns, but there is no power to one of my monitors, a 22 "and the other is 17"...

I run a Core2Duo 2.6 E6600 processor and 4 GB of ram, I have 1.7 TB of disk space and all have ample space for the page file etc.

I have Windows Vista Home Premium and are 32-bit to.

    Here is my Mobo http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00864946

I installed the card as the statement say, I have installed the new drivers, uninstalled the old drivers, I did install more and uninstalling it is incredible, I have no friends to try on their computer and a single PCI-E slot my own so I have only to ask my local shop UKMD all 30quid and 3 days with my computer just wants to get by , as of salt!

    HELLLLP!

Oh man, I was there yesterday again I don't? I thought, if I could do a GeForce card work why settle for 512 when, for more than 10pounds that I could have a 1 GB?

I made arrangements for the Radeon graphics card to collect, uninstalled the new card from nVidia, took back and bought this card, the ZOTAC GeForce® GTS 250 Eco 1 GB and has home and nothing, no bloody screen so I thought that there is one last thing, I've never tried before. At the back of my computer there is a small black plaque that says "do not remove" well removed and there is a VGA port, a VGA PORT JEJE!

I put my old card in > pulled up to my computer > switched to graphic design onbard > turned on my computer (you mind, I have two monitors) so it would not have been successful without two > so I put off, install the new map > powered > installed the card with the work still on board > installed drivers but, error > "there is a problem... blah blah blah is not compatible VGA" HMM

SO VGA means the edge, so I put off, disable the integrated graphics card and VOILA!

I'm now a cardholder graphics work STUPID STUPID STUPID!

If I had done so at the beginning I might be running DDR5 DX11-

so as a sadist, try this system with the Radeon card? NO.

I'll leave lol if I had 1 GB card, I would like to here a joy, happy happy joy

my card Zotec is unbelievable, and after more than 9,000 pages of forums and help, I myself have sorted it

  • Problem with Inspiron 15 3537 AMD Radeon HD 8670 M Driver for Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit

    Hi team,

I bought this laptop a month back and still not able to understand the problem with the video driver.

    Laptop model - http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/Product/inspiron-15-3537

Issue - AMD Radeon HD 8670 M Driver does not not in Windows 7 Enterprise. Error - driver has stopped working.

    Drivers have tried - http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/ag/en/19/driverdetails?driverid=P28NG

    Help, please.

I called Dell phone Support and they helped me solve the problem.

    Solution: -.

Step 1 - updated BIOS to latest version

Step 2 - before you install the AMD driver, install the Intel HD Graphics driver 4400 (most of people think that is not necessary because we have a dedicated external AMD card. "It was my mistake too). You can download it from Dell support.

Step 3 - install AMD Radeon HD M 8670 driver

And yeppy it works! Windows experience index has a flexible 6.5 for the games graphics on Win 7

  • By the end of 2011 MacBook Pro, AMD Radeon HD 6770 M and CS6

I just bought a second hand MacBook Pro (late 2011, i7 Quad 2.5 GHz with the 1 GB AMD Radeon HD 6770 M card) for a decent price. Here's the thing tho, I didn't know that AE CS6 does not play nice nice with AMD cards due because of the support CUDAGPU acceleration. Barefeats stipulates that ' every Mac with an NVIDIA GPU blew the...» AMD GPU... »

So, having said that, have I made a serious mistake by buying this machine? I looked online but couldn't get a clear answer: will be AE CS6 performs well with my AMD card?

Please note that I do not very big, but I need a kind of performance when I need (with out going into long explanations, I bought this machine to work at home, but I have a MacPro to work for the heavy stuff). What worries me is if I try and return, I'll sit for hours.

Can someone let me know if the AMD card will limit my performance with AE (and PS, I) CS6?

  • Cannot install latest ATI mobility Radeon x 1600 display driver for my Satellite A100

    Hello

My Satellite A100-704 PSAA9E is equipped with the ATI Mobility Radeon X 1600 graphics display card, that ATI provides a new driver, named Catalyst 8.3. My problem is that when I run the verification software, I get a message telling me that this driver is not suitable to be installed on my system.

Is any information available on this subject? I always install the new Catalyst driver or it's better if I do not have? Oh, the current driver, I have running on my laptop is the one downloaded from the Toshiba site, 8.292 I believe.

Any information is appreciated. Thank you very much.

It is well known that laptop to the manufacturer is responsible for the support of driver on laptop computers. You're not the first person is facing this problem. To be honest, it is not the problem. The fact is that the laptop manufacturers use updated drivers to protect the equipment.

Because of this I recommend you to use the Toshiba drivers only.

  • Re: Satellite C855-155 - AMD Radeon HD 7610 display driver does not work

    Hello

My laptop Toshiba Satellite C855-155 2 years, used to run the display driver AMD Radeon HD 7610 (V8.932.5.3000 January 20, 2012). Suddenly, it no longer works. Login screen looks scrambled. I can only start the laptop with the Standard VGA driver but the screen resolution is 1024 x 768 (not the 1366 x 768 normal) and no screen dimming, automatic off tension or sleep/hibernate functions is not working either.

What do you recommend? Is it a hardware failure?
    Thank you in advance,
    Seçkin

    Hello

Have you tried to reinstall the display driver?
    > What do you recommend? Is it a hardware failure?
Best test you can do is to back up all your important data and reinstall original recovery image and test your machine with the factory settings. If the problem persists it may be hardware related issue.
