  If a new installation will leave you with WinXP SP1, you can ignore the SP2 and just install SP3, Jim. As I'm not sure what you were doing (how or when you did), maybe you'd better start from scratch:

  Format the HARD drive again & do a clean install of Windows.  Please note that a repair installation (upgrade AKA on-site) won't fix this!

  I could solve this problem by installing the pack of media on your site (sorry I don't have the URL). I still don't know why it installs does not by default. I have a sound blaster Audigy 2zs that had conflicts during installation, I guess it could be a possibility.

  You can't download unless you run Windows 7N.  Media Center is an essential component of all other editions of Windows 7.  But you can unload and then reload.

  Unload 1 Media Center - Panel, programs and features, [left] turn turn Windows features on or off, characteristic of the media, Media Center clear box, Yes, OK, restart the PC.

  2 reload Media Center - Control Panel, programs and features, [left] turn Windows features on or off, multimedia functions, the Media Center of the value checkbox, Yes, OK, restart the PC.

  The only "original" key on your laptop is on the COA sticker on the case - and NOT that of a magical JellyBean or Belarc Key recovery program.

  If so, you should contact your ISP for Support of parameters appropriate Proxy Server client.

  If you are on a domain, you must check with the person supported on the local network to the appropriate client Proxy Server settings.

  I own more Microsoft for Windows XP and used on my previous pc.  My current computer is Windows XP Media Center Edition installed.  System requirements for Windows XP Home and professional list.  It will work on Media Center?  Is there an advantage to install?  Reading on this subject, it seems to me that the audio improvements may be the only advantage, but I don't want to install it if there could be other conflicts after the installation.

  for the most part, yes you can install more! XP on a computer with WinXP MCE.
  just be sure to install more! XP Service Pack 1 after installing more for Windows XP.

  In Windows Media Center "Setup" screen, My double Tuner Card is recognized, as "Media Center" displays "Tuner No. 1", "No. 2 Tuner" and setting.  When I record a program and I want to watch another, "Media Center" displays the program that I wish to record.  I can't find in "Media Center" where I can manually click a tuner to record and use the other tuner for viewing.  Can someone please advise?

  I have Windows 7 Premium 32 bit running on my system.  I use to be able to use the Internet TV feature in Windows Media Center, but it has stopped working.  A few weeks ago, I had to reset to a previous system config and then tried to watch today.  Had to re - download the file and then received the window that says:
