Did not get the product for Media Center-no code can not process the order

I asked the promotional offer for Windows 8 Media center, but never received the code.  He said that it takes 72 hours to receive, but it has been good (probably about 2 weeks).  I checked all my email, including spam, and there is no email with the code.  I tried 3 e-mail addresses and now all I get is "cannot process order.

  • WMCE54AG - dialog box 'Site not designed for Media Center'

I just bought WMCE54AG media extender on ebay and it connected to my PC Windows XP Media Center.  It seems to work fine except that I can't access Online Spotlight.  I get a dialog box saying "Not designed for Media Center Site" and asks me to view them later / now display / Cancel.  I select view now and get the Online Spotlight menu options, but can't do anything with it.  This feature works fine on my PC.  Is there some setting I have missed on the Extender?  I tried to update the firmware, but when I have intalled, it says I have a newer version, so I cancelled it.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, after trial and error, I finally understood what the problem
    a. the Linksys Extender is not compatible with IE7. After rolling back to
IE6, I could see online focus in the media extender. As a note of
careful, I had upgraded to IE8 beta 2 and Spot online has stopped working on
my media center PC as well. I had the same error as I did on my extender. This
in the end is how I realized that the problem was with the IE version.

  • units Windows media center update the site saying "We could not process your order."

I am trying to get a product key for the media center upgrade to windows 8 pro. I have two computers that I have upgraded to Windows 8 pro, so I used two different emails. The first computer I've updated went well, I asked for the key and a few days later he appeared in my Inbox, and I upgraded without problem. I asked a product key for the second computer (with a different email) more than a week and it never came, so I tried again and any email you enter on the site, it says "We could not process your order." Unfortunately, I tried the first product on the second computer key and allowed me to upgrade. The only problem is, I got a screen that says product key is already in use, and now my computer asks me to activate windows all the time. As far as I know, there is no way to fix it without the product key. I can't even return to regular windows 8 pro with a clean install, because I downloaded windows 8 pro without a disk.

  • Cannot get live TV on Media Center Center (errors - TV Tuner not installed - ehrecvr.exe)

Three weeks ago, I got a Dell PC with Windows Vista and a card Hauppauge WinTV HVR-1250 TV that was installed at the factory.

Since the first day of use, I have two questions that have taken place that I think are related:

-To try to watch TV live on the Media Center, I get the following error: "Tuner not installed.  Video cannot be displayed because no tuner found»

I spent about 2 hours with assistance from Hauppauge reinstall all the Hauppauge software, drivers, etc..  I receive the Hauppauge WinTV live TV but still not be able to get live TV on Media Center (the same error as above - "Tuner not installed.').  The aid office in Hauppauge said that they handled several requests like mine, but not can not solve the solution must be found in Vista.

I receive TV on the Hauppauge WinTV software, but I prefer using Media Center.

You have a solution to get Media Center to play live TV?

  • Do not install driver for media center M7000

Hi all: for the first time here. Full of hope! Recently repaired a system Media Center M7000. Was able to get most of the pilots of the HP excelllent site. However, the audio driver listed when downloaded and loaded into the system just didn't work. Tried to RUN the site as well, and also, nothing positive has happened.

I remembered then, I got the work done on a new system with a motherboard Asus and recalled all pilot had a sound driver. No not even load disk driver m/b, but was able to go to the site Asus driver and download driver from there. Worked perfectly on the media center with Win XP Pro. For later use, I would like to know why the driver listed on the HP download site would not work, but he said it was the correct driver. One was listed, there would be no confusiong courses by selecting one of, say, five or six audio drivers. I have same woked my way down the list of pilot, hopeing to get a workable driver for the Media Center. No luck. Really appreciate the help on this one, because I am sure that I have will meet this situation once again, since I'm a repair technician. Thanks a lot, estimated Jim S

Thanks for such a quick response and recommendation. Downloaded, saved and hope for happier days. Once again, thanks a lot. Jim S

  • where can I get a video decoder for win xp media center so I can pick up a signal from TV

I use to be able to pick up a signal from TV, but since a new reinstall of xp media center I can not get a signal - the message says that I need a video decoder, where can I get this article

    Hi davidwiddecombe,

A codec is a software to compress or decompress a digital media file, such as a song or a video. Windows Media Player and other programs use codecs to play and create digital media files.

A codec can consist of two components: an encoder and a decoder. The encoder performs the compression function (coding) and the decoder performs the decompression function (decoding). Some codecs include both components and some codecs only one of them.

Use your favorite search engine and browse for such a program which is used to.
