Xperia z3 mark all emails as read

I'm using the email provided with the z3 and I upladed my POP account for work, I do not see a medium quick to mark all emails as read I can do on other providers of messaging as k9 mail...

Can someone let me know if you can ' mark all as read?

Hello and welcome to the community! Since you are new, please make sure that you have checked our Forum.

In messaging preinstalled, you must hold down an email to mark. When an email is marked, you can either press the e-mails that you want to mark as read, or you can press on in the upper left corner to mark all your emails. You can then press the button "mark as/unread" in the upper right corner.

  • Mark all messages as read?

I recently added that an email note and the notifier said that I have 108 unread messages. Normally on my mac I just mark all read (because ive read before). But the only way I see to do in the Palm Pre is going through each individual message. For me its a lot of work to do (or im lazy). So I was wondering if there is a way to mark them all as read.

Nope they did not bother to move to fix some of these common pieces of functionality.  But well, you received emoticons WOOT!

Hello and welcome to the community!

"Mark prior Opened" has existed for a long time... it must be present for you. When, exactly, your sequence you press the key? It must be:

    • Home screen > Messages > (highlight a date separator line) > > mark prior Opened/Read

So for example, if you have a message highlighted when you press on the key, then the selection of the Mark prior open menu are not displayed... only when you have a separator line to date highlighted the selection of the menu you want to display.

    Good luck!

How can I mark all messages as read?

    Thank you.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

I can't say for sure from your post, but if you are referring to the reading of a message on GMail (at the level of the server, from a computer, via the WebMail interface), and then as 'read' status reflected on your BB, it is not possible... see this KB.

On the other hand, if we talk about changing the status of reading on the BB interface itself, you can do this by selecting all the date separator, and then pressing on the key and selecting "mark prior opened".

    Hope that helps!

  • Why "Mark all read" takes forever

HI - anyone know why it takes so long to mark all as read emails (just done with 20 unread and it took more than a minute)?  I'm on an iPad 4 with the last update of iOS.  On my iPhone 6 Plus it takes only a second or two.

    iPad 4 (A6) v. iPhone 6 (A8)

I don't know why should we believe a processor two years older than the processor of the iPhone 6 might be as fast

  • I can't mark emails as read!

Since the last automatic Droid Razr update a few weeks ago, it's very complicated to mark all unread messages to read! It was easy to do it before, but after this update it seems not work!

If go to my email account main I can sort by date email, unread, or other options. I select no read. I then press the menu key and select "select all". Then a few iconw appear in the background: a trash can, an e-mail and a flag. I select the mail one and it opens and the word 'mark read' appears, but the messages don't as read clear.

I'm frustrated! He used to work without problems before the update.

Just * slightly tap * the icon 'mark read '. If you hold long enough so the text 'mark read' to show that it won't work.

    Hi all

Select mail not read first and third or fourth mail simultaneously, then scroll down until the last mail read and choose. Now, all unread mail has been selected. Press the BB button and select Mark Read. All unread mail is now read.

    Hello

I installed an Alfred Workflow (see code below) that will mark all my mails as read. After you run it for a minute, the mail has crashed and I had to forcequit. However, now, when you open the Mail it crashes instantly, even after restart and repair the permissions. I also used the Ctrl + C and CTRL-Z commands in the Terminal to leave the alfred_script, but nothing helped. I'm running out of ideas here, so I hope you could help me either reinstall the mail.app. I could always just switch to a different mail application, but it's kind of a last resort.

    Code:

    Tell application "Mail".

Define allAccounts on each account name

    Repeat with currAccount in allAccounts

the unreadMboxes value (each mailbox to the account currAccount the unread number is not 0)

    Repeat with currMbox in unreadMboxes

(read status of each message to currMbox including the playback State is set to false) true value

    end repeat

    end repeat

    tell the end

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Can post the report of crash on demand.

Not sure that Alfred's, but it's just an Applescript script and it would not cause Mail to be planted.

However, when running through all the messages, it is possible Mail database has been corrupted and it crashes because of this.

I'll probably get anything out of the accident report, but others might.

My first instinct would be to rebuild the mailbox. Because you can't do that with him crashing, you can simply delete the databases and it will rebuild them.

    Navigate to this folder:

    ~/Library/Mail/v3/MailData/

You can either manually through the files, or copy the full path and paste it into go the folder in the menu go to the Finder.

Remove the envelope Index files. Open Mail and see if it works well.

If your library does not appear in your folder, hold down the Option key and select library in the menu go to in the Finder.

It's always a good idea to include the operating system and the application that you are using.

Most of the older e-mail programs simply, you click with the right button on the message and select Mark As Unread on the shortcut menu.

If you use the Email in Windows 8, click with the right button on the message and select Mark Unread on the toolbar at the bottom.

If you click on one of the date fields that separate your emails, you can choose "Mark prior opened. Doing so will mark all day and open back.
