XPRT: Shutter tone adjustment.

My phone doesn't have the tone control of the shutter in the camera settings. Missing everyone this setting option?

-This is another post that has been marked replied.

According to the user guide for the Sprint, there should be a set the tone of the shutter to activate shutter sound or turn off.

@jessedwalker

I found that the manual is in error. We will be updating. The inability to turn off the shutter sound is a legal requirement. A future update does not allow this feature, but thanks for your comments.

  • Camera tone curves, exposure and saturation profiles

I use a home made camera profile, since the DNG Profile Editor was released. I much prefer the colors made by using a profile of a ColorChecker card for the provided profiles.

My first profile was based on a photo taken using Adobe Standard, but I didn't like how the lighter tones looked washed out. So I created a curve custom in DNGPE, with a small dip in the upper half of the diagonal. Makes the lighter tones to colours .

A few months later, I created a new curve point by default, with less of a boost in the light. This helped with detail in the sky .

Recently, I realized that I'm adjusting the brightness slider a lot, and I realized that it is because the tone of my profile adjustment decreases the brightness of the mi-teintes. So, instead of setting the default to 60, I created another profile, with a tone adjustment higher in the medium and lower tones in lighter tones. Better default , but I am not satisfied by the lighter tones still .

I think now, exposure down to about 1/3 tab to bring the color back in the faces of the people. I use a Nikon D300, and some people say that it tends to overexpose a little, but I'm shooting raw, and I would have not thought that it was a problem when it's not clipping.

I use a default value of contrast of 25 and the average contrast curve points. When I slide the exposure down, I can see the histogram (ProPhoto) "no - bunching" at the upper end, and it seems to fit with the color back into the cheeks of the people.

Help. I'm confused. Camera raw does something with a saturation at the top of the tone curve?

Hi Yammer P, you cannot add an exhibition shifted on a profile directly, but as you know, you can have a + or - exposure correction built into a default by the camera, or a preset.

On the other hand, pouvez have you a profile-specific tone curve. For example, in the DNG Profile Editor, you can use the second pane to change tone of a profile curve. So if the default highlights are a little light to your liking, you can change the profile curve to bring them down a bit. Then save the new profile.

I understand what you're saying want to add a lighter areas overrun without the darker image overall. We do not have a control that does this directly, while others like the Saturation can help (as you discovered) if used moderately.

  • VE465 Bluetooth problems

I have a ve465 and use a nokia bluetooth for calls and voice commands and it works fine, but I can't use it to listen to music. The music plays on the speaker phone and will not pass by BT, I don't know if the headphones work because I do not use this option. I want to just listen to music via BT. I need a specific type of BT so I can get music via bluetooth?

    johncash

Page 63 of your phones online VE465 User Guide says:

    • Note: All multimedia (video player, audio player, shutter tones) will play from the speakerphone when your phone is connected to another Bluetooth device.

    In addition, the devices need...

Phones need A2DP to play stereo audio, and the AVRCP to control it from bluetooth devices.

    • A2DP is the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile
    • AVRCP is the Audio Video Remote Control profile this phone does not have this notation so therefor is not compatible to play music through your stereo BlueTooth headset.

A headphones/earphones plugged in will work well.

  • Equivalent to 'Clarity' in PS ACR?

    Hi again

In the past months, I have migrated a large part of my basic image adjustment tasks in Bridge/ACR with very good and reproducible results. But sometimes I still need PS for more difficult work. When I return to Photoshop one Tools CAB that I miss the most is the setting of clarity. How we would try to reproduce this tool in Photoshop?

I think clarity of ACR as a medium tone adjustment contrast via light sharpening.  (It is really more than that in the cab, of course, but this approach offers a starting point for what you could try in PS).  Simulate in PS would mean to help strengthening of contrast (or decrease) tools and by limiting their effect to the midtones.  You could try just the Unsharp mask with a small amount and a high RADIUS: duplicate your layer, apply the usm for the duplicate layer (try 15% amount and RADIUS 100) then compel sharpening midtones, use of layers so mix option.   You can take this further by using overlay combining mode and setting the high pass filter with mixture so to produce a midtone contrast boost.

  • In Lightroom tone curve adjustment tool responds very slowly.

When I use the tone curve adjustment tool in Lightroom, the curve follow my Wacom pen. It's the response is slow, not smooth and most of the time if prefer to move to the left instead of to the top. This problem makes it very difficult to make small adjustments. I tried to use a mouse and I still have the same problem. Another person had the same problem and solved? Can Adobe, you help me?

    Thank you

Try the Wacom tablet preference file utility. First, click on "Backup" and save the file in a folder or office location.  Then click on 'Remove', which restores the default settings. If it does not improve the behavior of Tablet use the "Restore" button and select the file to backup with your previous settings.

  • How to change the iPhone camera shutter sound 7

How to change the iPhone camera shutter sound 7?

    Hello

To adjust the volume of the sound of the camera shutter:

    • Use the settings ringer and alerts:
      • On iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 more, go to: settings > sounds and haptic.
      • (Other models, go to settings > sounds).
    • Or turn mute off / on using the switch on the side of your iPhone's ring/silent.
      • (The mute function is disabled in some countries).
  • adjust frame numbers 3.6.2

I'm under 3.6.2 numbers on my Mac with El Capitan.

I want to adjust the exposure of some of the images of certain cells.

I found this Apple info below, but there is NO Picture tab.

I found a picture tab to set under VIEW, but it is grayed out.  Can I get a picture in there.

    Any suggestions?

Adjust exposure, saturation and other parameters of the image

    1. Select the image, and then click the tab of the Image at the top of the sidebar on the right. If you do not see a sidebar or sidebar is not an Image tab, click on in the toolbar.
    2. Use the buttons to make adjustments:
      • Exhibition: Changes the brightness or darkness of the totality of the picture.
      • Saturation: Changes the richness of the color in the image. Dragging to the right makes the colors richer or more dynamic.
      • Improve: Automatically adjusts the image by spreading the tones of red, green and blue evenly on the histogram.

Although number, you must select an image that is part of a numbers document in order for the contextual trainers to be filled.

  • Slow keynote: adjust the Image

Meeting with a critical question with Keynote (6.6.1; OS X 10.11.4. MacBook Pro 2.6 GHz.)

When you edit images in Keynote, using Image settings, performance is extremely slow.

Selection of an image, the extreme slowness and delay occurs when you adjust any of the following sliders in Image settings:

    Exhibition.

    Contrast.

    Saturation.

    Highlights.

    The shadows.

    Sharpness.

    Noise.

    Temperature.

    Hue.

The offset is serious enough to greatly affect modulation, and even my ability to set attributes to specific values directly.

(Speaking of which, I also wonder why there is no digital field for each attribute (given that in colors, for red, green and blue).

Interestingly, the cursor opacity for images (or objects) is perfectly without lag.  And Keynote (and other applications) runs decently fast on my Mac, other than this issue.  Images were pasted with pictures of the camera on my iPhone 5.

All the light shined on it very appreciated!

This isn't normal behavior for Keynote, none of our Macs show this through all Mac models.

    Try the following two procedures:

    1 reset the Keynote

Perform all the steps in the order listed

Keynote, you must use a request to work procedure removal tool uninstall

AppCleaner is free and works well for this procedure, it can be download here: Appcleaner

    • uninstall the Keynote
    • empty the trash
    • Shut Down the Mac (Apple menu > turn off)
    • Wait 10 seconds, then press the power button
    • as soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key
    • release the SHIFT key when you see the gray Apple screen, start-up will take a few minutes longer than usual as the Mac performs a software repair
    • After the repair and the Mac is completely started, restart the Mac normally (Apple > restart)
    • install Keynote from the Mac App Store

    2. download, install and run Etrecheck, and then copy and paste the results into a response to this discussion.

Etrecheck is a script notification, it does not repair or modify your system, the website gives full information.

I did a complete reset and now it works as advertised.

  • LasrerJet P1606dn Toner flashing light

My wife bought a HP LaserJet P1606dn two weeks ago. The printer was working fine until the toner light began to blink in the middle of a print job. Knowing that the drum unit that comes with the printer wouldn't replace us it with a new HP ink cartridge 78 sealed. However, after changing the cartridge that the printer continues to show the toner light flashing and does nothing else.

Up to this point, we have:

    * restarted the printer

    * restarted the connected computer

    * Search for paper jams in all localities in accordance with the manual of

    * Reinstall the new cartridge several times

    * checked the media guides and adjust the amount of said paper guides

    * a reset by unplugging the printer from one day to the next, in him plugging in, turn on the printer and then by pressing the two buttons on the console until all lights blinked at the same time three times.

Nothing that I found in the manual or online help. The toner light stays on and there is no mechanical answer to the printer.

    - - - - -

    Requested information:

    HP LaserJet P1606dn

Windows 7 64 bit home edition, all Microsoft updates

Printer is connected directly to the computer via a USB 6' cable

Toner light flashing on the printer console and display on the screen reads "insert black toner cartridge.

After trying to reset a second time and it does not work, I continued my search on Google for the answer to this problem, I have been seen and was able to find the solution. On some sites, it was found that jams paper defused would cause the toner light flashing. There is no paper jam the printer locations, I have carefully examined the printer with a high powered light and found a cloth barely visible paper, sitting behind the rollers that feed the printing surface in the body of the printer. I was able to simply adapt a pair of pliers between the plastic and the rollers to remove the piece of paper and found he was sitting directly on top of one of the paper sensors. After the removal of the said sheet of paper, I turned on the printer and it works normally now.

So for future reference of the right: If the toner on your HP LaserJet P1606dn flashes and your cartridge is not recognized, double check that no pieces of paper is somehow stuck/stuck inside your printer. A very minor paper jam may be your problem. (And be sure to stick anything inside your printer! Not accidentally damage your printer.)

And thank you TECH58 for your time and your quick response. It may not have been the solution, but it's nice to have something at the time where you don't expect it.

  • Is 80 d there a way to adjust exposure while shooting video of a timelapse?

I'm trying to capture a timelapse of sunrise. The problem is during the shooting with built-in timelapse on the 80 d, the camera seems to lock exposure while taking the timelapse. I was shooting in Av mode hoping that as the Sun rose, the camera would automatically adjust the shutter speed and ISO. This was not the case. I wonder if in the settings the camera happen during the timelapse as he would be good as ordinary video shoot?

It is not possible to change the exposure (which is the beginning of your movie) during the time of the built-in camera.  It's the way that the 80 d has been designed, unfortunately.

  • How can I change the shutter speed on my Sony a37?

While I'm on the Auto program my shutter speed is not the right number I want to. I do not know how to change it and wonder what to do?

In program auto mode, the camera automatically determines the combination of speed and the appropriate scene shutter opening. If you want to use a specific shutter speed, it would be best to take pictures in the priority shutter (S) Mode. Please set your mode dial on S and then spin the front dial to adjust the shutter speed.

  • Is there a way to disable the highlight D + tone priority put after the picture is taken?

    Hello

I am using the multiple exposure settings to take a period of time of a tree using the overlay effect. Unfortunately, the first photo that I took of the series chose the HTR d +. When this field is selected, you can use the multiple exposure settings.

Is there a way to turn the day D + the RAW file setting out in camera either on my computer?

    Thank you!

"Is there a way to turn the D + the RAW file setting out in camera either on my computer?

No, it isn't. HTP is just another word for underexposure.  It allows more space in the highlights at the expense of the increase in noise.  This is how a RAW file is filed and registered.

Some Canon cameras have settings as well to highlight tone priority and Auto Lighting Optimizer.
Auto Lighting Optimizer (ALO) analysis in contrast. It changes both shadows and highlights by adjusting the tone curve in high contrast conditions.  It is not reversible then either.

There are only some certain things that can make a sensor of the camera.  Everything is a modification to them.  Remember that there is no free lunch.  You give to get.

  • In video mode shutter speeds

I just read that the T3i can autofocus in video mode, true?

On T5i shutter speed is adjustable during the video?  Sometimes I need fast shutter for objects moving quickly are not blurred.

    Hi erokc!

    Thank you for posting.

The EOS Rebel T3i can autofocus, but it works the same when shooting still images.  You need to activate the focus automatically every time you want the camera to focus the lens and before you start recording.  Continuous autofocus is not possible.

When you're shooting in manual on the EOS Rebel T5i, the shutter speed, the aperture and ISO can be set manually.
