XY graphics table

I have a loop for. Inside the loop for, there's a XY Chart, including indicator I in the façade. I would like to have the graph not inside the loop, but outside, with indexing enabled. Now I want an array of graphs, in order to have available ALL the graphics created (one for each iteration). But I'm not able to create such a chart table. I am able to create and indicator data (it turns out to be a 2d cluster of 2 elements array (1 d table 2)).

Y at - it hope to have what I want, it's the graphics N of iterations of the loop?

Try to place the graphic in a cluster container before putting it in the table container, also add a node single-height bundle just before the tunnel exit of the loop autoindexing.

What kind of data are your xy charts? (table of cluster of points, cluster of x and y, complex tables, etc.).

It would be useful that you could fix a small example of your code so that we can see how you build the data graph.

    If you add new values for parcels (ie. you have a table of 12 items for 12 cards), you could do that. I use the invoke with chart labels strategically selected node. If your labels are not strategically chosen, simply create an array with their respective labels.

    Well, some of your graphs seems to have several tracks, so you have to rearrange the data a little more. Here's a quick attempt, but please change if necessary.

  • Insertion of graphics, tables, etc.

    Most of the time, pretty look bad graphics I have insert into documents. I have tried to copy - paste (almost never of work), save it as a graphics file (.gif, .jpg, etc.) and even print to PDF and inserting them like that. Some come out very well, but most is blurred. I can't imagine that a program designed specifically for the creation of publications would do a mediocre job of graphic display, so there must be a good way to do that I have not discovered. Sean,

    This can be complicated to address with simplicity (like language), but I'll take a shot at him.

    RW: No. each rule as this specifies the child direct candidates only. You would have a separate line in your table in the Section [S2}, which indicates its respective candidates children (a which Section [S3].)] Similarly, Section [S3] would have its own line, etc.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Issue B)

    Also, I don't get specified TEXT anywhere in the samples, I look. TEXT must be in my conversion table?

    Am I right that I should add my lists to the right, if I want lists to be valid in the Sections?

    RW: no, by nature, a text node is locked to his current position, as a child of its current parent. Everywhere where parents who will, the child text node needs to go also. So no choice in the matter. Of course, however, the general rule in your EDD must allow text as long as it is necessary to maintain the validity.

    Another explanation, imagine how a text node is displayed... usually by wrapping text in a component of character Beach, where there is additional text before and/or after the inside of the paragraph. The conversion table normally does this skin based on the character formats, then text nodes are just there and fixed.

    RW: The logic seems wrong to me. I don't know exactly what your EDD or source file looks like this, but I think more in the sense of something like:

    E:head [H1], p +, (p | ul | ol |) GRAPHIC | Table | Anchor) *, article [S2], article [S2] +.

    Otherwise, you might get more

      , etc. after the sections. While we are on this issue, let me throw out some thoughts...

    -You must decide if you try to apply strictly the structural rules here or simply to get the optimal structure applied. As a general rule, a rule of conversion table can be more lenient, so it may capture abnormalities that can be cleared up later using the validation of ESD. You come with additional consideration of another agreement, that an article must begin with a

    I would usually use a simpler rule, such as:

    E:head [H1], (p | ul | ol |) GRAPHIC | Table | Anchor) *, Section [S2] *.

    It is perhaps more lenient than the structure that you intend to apply in your documents. But it is much more likely to get your most feasible initial structure from the beginning. During the cleanup after conversion, it is easier to correct a little lost

    elements only to the rearrange a bunch of hierarchies section, everything simply because you were looking for perfection in the first passage.

    -Once again, although not knowing your EDD, this jumps at me... by putting GRAPHICS, table and anchor in a single rule, this means they must be brothers and sisters. However, from previous conversations, I'm suspicious that they are not. In other words, I suspect that the anchor can be one parent to the other two. If so, this rule should be anchor only and it should be separate rules to push the GRAPHICS elements and table under anchor, then this rule simply has to pull on the anchor and children.

    I hope this helps!

  • How to combine 2 documents in pages

    I am writing a thesis in pages mac 5.6.1. So far, I wrote each chapter in separate documents and plan to simply combining them as you could in the old versions of the pages.

    How to combine in this version of pages? When I copy and paste the documents out of format with the cards move. If I convert to PDF, I lose the ability to put in an index and subsequently change.

    What is the best way to combine?

    V5.6.1 pages needs to copy and paste into the body of the document recipient of the document. Any object of document (graphics, tables, images, text boxes) will probably require a personal visit to the tab reorder in the right panel, where the object Placement and design will need to be adjusted to get the layout of document recipient behavior you are looking for. A text wrap of None to move objects in the desired position.

    Pages ' 09 may still be in your Applications: case of iWork ' 09, and has more substantial than v5.6.1 Pages functionality.

    Making any type of production of essential educational document in any version of Pages v5 is a high-risk business, as much found, when Pages v5 simply refuses to open or save the document. I recommend MS Word for academic pursuit because that's what the Faculty will be required to use internally, and you would work with a much more stable product which allows exchanging native Word document formats with the same Faculty.

  • How scalable VI?

    Hello

    I am trying to build a display application and analysis of small data. So far, I can read the data in and choose which channels to draw on x and is the axis of a chart. I am now at the stage of producing some algorithms to apply transformations to the selected channels. The VI is attached as it is currently, as well as some examples of data to read.

    The maximum number of channels is 16, but often, there's much less (only 2 or 3). When I come to do the analysis, I only do on the selected channels, 16 not all. Right now my code is not large, because there are still all the cables table of the index for the grouping of XY trace.

    I thought that there must be a better way to do it-first determine how many channels I selected (table size) and use like the meter for a loop FOR to run this many times. But that's where I'm stuck - even then I'll still end up having to separate the table into several tables 1 d 2D in order to enter a format that will accept the XY trace. At the present time how I see that the number of tables 1 d will always need to each have a node fiber and associated sons and he will always be 16 of them for the case where all channels are used.

    I thought to use graphics/tables of waveform, but it will not always a constant time on the X axis step - it could be a field of force-displacement or anything like that.

    Surely there must be a better way, and I'm simply not see!

    Any help/advice is appreciated

  • nested to perform DML and wait function call commit

    Hello world

    I would like to make a few DML - one insert statement, to be precise - in function and have the function and then return the number keys on the newly added row. I call this function from a different context and woud then be able to use the newly added data to do something.

    Specifically, what I do is the following: I have a graph composed of triplets source, destination and distance in a picture. A user should now be able to

    1.) add a node "A" to the curve.
    2.) add a node 'B' to the chart
    (3.) to get the shortest path from A to B in the graphs.

    adding new nodes to the chart, links, calculates distances etc. and returns a handle to the newly added node. I call this function twice function, external
    function get_path (line_in in sdo_geometry, graph_in in integer) return sdo_geometry
    is

    end get_path;
    ; and I think thatI have to use autonomous transaction in the internal function, so that the external function can see any changes made by the inside one. However, it doesn't work, when I call twice the function internal (i.e. remove the comment panels in front of the last two lines of code just before the return statement in the outer function.)

    So here are my questions: 1) why should I call the function twice to see the complete transaction? (and 2.) How can I avoid this? Is it possible to wait for the execution of the return statement in the internal function that the insert is committed and can be seen by the external function?

    See you soon!

    OK, here's the solution: the external function get_path() calls a function get_path_geom(source, destination) , who himself called something like table(dijkstra(source, destination)) , (omitted by me because only carefully tested and ok, my bad!) which makes the job of finding the shortest path and returns an array in pipeline. It turns out that this feature for some reason is not the scope of the external function and therefore does not see the transaction committed themselves on the graphics table. After you change the dijkstra() -function to return a list instead of a table, all works all of a sudden.

    If this question has been answered; I would still like to know why the table function does not have the same scope as the rest of the transaction.

    Edit: removed misleading blame on application external and inserted a correct solution.

  • Anchored alignment senior

    Hello ,.

    I have the script in a document:

    http://img18.imageshack.us/img18/311/g1vh.png

    I want to align the illustration at the top of the page, but the anchor prevents me to do.

    The best I can do is by reducing the size of the police.

    Does anyone have a better solution?

    Here's how:

    1. first, I create a single-celled table with title format. Name it whatever

    you want to be graphic. I place the image in the table cell and the

    legend in the position of the table title, which can be set above or below of the

    table (chart). Or turn off the title if no legend. In the table

    Designer, on the standard tab, the value spacing above pt - 2, 00.

    2. create a paragraph of anchor style to contain the table, may appoint

    TableAnchor. In the designer of paragraph, under the Basic tab, set the spacing

    Below BMP-2, 00 pt for this paragraph style and select the 'Fixed '.

    checkbox. On the tab fonts by default, set the font to 2.0 pt. NOTE: this

    number can be any number you want, as long as you use the same number

    (but negative) in the other two places I mentioned.

    Now to place your image, first create an empty paragraph of TableAnchor

    in your document. Insert a new table in the paragraph by using your new

    Graphic table style. Place your image in the table cell and blister

    He (Esc p m). Place your caption in the title of the table. All going to sit

    Rinse the upper part of the column of the page.

  • FrameMaker-> XML-> FrameMaker questions

    Hello

    I have currently about 150 pages fm submits, that were originally unstructured, but I managed to make a structure of work for her. There are mainly paintings, which have references, images, graphics, tables and internal stuff, so all normal technical document. Reason I'm structuring it and what about XML is that we have another file XML where we will add data in this document, and currently, it is done by hand and we want to do it my machine. These things are done by the magic of programmers who can better c-related speaking in tongues English.

    I can make the XML of this fine, so that the XML that is created is valid and structure looks like, it is very well copied as XML. Graphics, images and internal tables are currently inside anchored like graphics frames, since they were something similar in the informal document and read/write rules that transform images EPS, because internal tables do not work like SVG, I prefer otherwise, because it is also the XML and anchored frames have some links referring to other parts of the document. SVG would be also easier to manage in programming (or so I think) as the EPS. If anyone can think of the best way to do this, I'm open to suggestions.

    Question now is when I opened this created XML in FrameMaker, it loads first half-hour (computer is Intel T2500 2 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, computer laptop XP Pro SP3 and FM is version 10), then displays the 9 error pages records concerning 'framemaker cannot insert table (cell) at the current position cell' and then document appears as 600 to 1000 pages 'masterpiece' where 150 pages seems normal but after this first page If displays of new and tables is presented as a column in the page. It was suggested that if the file is created by FrameMaker, FrameMaker it would open normally, but apparently this is not the case.

    Reading/writing-rules currently look like this: (if it is useful at all)

    {"Table" element

    is the table fm "Table" element

    }

    element {"TableHead"

    is the fm "TableHead" table header element

    }

    element {"TableBody"

    is part of fm "TableBody table body."

    }

    There are some things that might look odd for some people. There are a few conditional text in FM submit and without rules as

    'Cell' is fm "CELL" table cell element

    XML is not valid against the DTD.

    I'd appreciate any help. I can also provide other files here, but due to NDA reasons, real document is no-go, but I think that if the structure is needed to see, the DTD is very good.

    Ian, Russ,

    As you probably know both, it is perfectly acceptable to have multiple rules read/write for a type of item. In this case, the rules include:

    element {'Row'

    table fm line item is "Row".

    }

    element {'Row'

    table fm line item is "ROW".

    }

    or

    element {'cell'

    is fm "Cell" table cell element

    }

    'Cell' is fm "CELL" table cell element

    The first pair of rules said FrameMaker when it creates XML, FrameMaker and PLACE items that both are output as an XML line items. The second pair of rules said the items FrameMaker and CELL are saved as XML as cell.

    When there are several relevant mappings, FrameMaker uses the first to appear in the rules of r/w. When is the reading of XML documents by using these rules, he could map a line XML line or LINE item and a cell to cell or CELL. Since mixed case of these two rules version appears before the version all uppercase, when reading XML, FrameMaker elements with the same name as the XML namespace it creates.

    Ejlamsa,

    Your FrameMaker EDD has both row and LINE (cell and CELL)? If this isn't the case, you can remove rules for the types of items you don't use.

    Insofar as the error messages and the wrong document when you open XML, Ian is quite correct that FrameMaker needs to know the number of columns there are in the table. If your DTD does not yet of this attribute, the simplest solution is to add a. It is possible using a plug-in or script to create columns as needed, but it's a lot more effort.
