  My escape key used to lead to shortcuts - almost all were numbers - and after the update, I noticed that they have all the letters now.  I tried to import the key from another computer commands, but those don't seem to change.  Any ideas on how to change this back?

  The change was apparently connected logical, perhaps for a reason... because of the universal use of ESC in OS X change from full-screen to windowed applications these days... then mode, logical Devs probably changed to keep in the new guidelines for the design of application published by Apple, I think.

  Some times generally (after the reboot, but not always) all the 'shortened network' disappear from office without reason.
  With the word "shortcut network" I mean: link to the remote folder (folder on a network file server), link to computer from the network or link to my own connections (such as the VPN to my company)
  An especially don't bind to the network resources are affected by this problem, [the desktop icon, the internal links, ore file icons, are not affected by this problem]

  It happened to me also (on all of my 3 PCs) and I'm really surprised!

  I down loaded a wiget google today and subsequently, I have experienced this problem. All my programs and all shortcuts are availble by Explorer and open the folder deshtop. They work very well, but the computer screen does not display them. When I opened the they seem normal, so it doesn't seem to be a problem with the monitor. When I try to drag or send to, or save, I get a message that says that they cannot be sent to their current location. The computer knows that they are in the file offers / office but don't show them on the screen. I have add / remove programs but no change. I sent a file that was in a different place and it went in the desktop folder but not on the screen. It's like there's a toggle to see the show/don ' t somewhere. There is no corruption in the programs or files. Thank you for any advise you can give.

  Attached to this day! I was able to run the restore and the date prior to the event. Only problem was Norton, I had to uninstall and re-installed but now works perfectly!

  I use page 5.6.2 and Mathtype 6.7 h. MathType works perfectly for me. However, I often have need of equations of type, and it is not conveneint to pull down on the Insert tab and click on "Insert a Mathtype equation." Is there anyway that I can create a shortcut to insert a mathtype equations? I read several answers of the past (on how you can do it by going to System Preferences), but it no longer works.
