Y at - it an upgrade online to get my 3210 to load on a Vista computer?

Hi - I had to get a new computer and it came with Vista.  My computer will print, but I can't get the SCAN to work, and the CD installer says I have the wrong operating system to load.  I LOVE this printer - is there an update or some files I can load to get the scanner and other options will work again?  PAM

Thank you so much - tht, exactly what I need - I just didn't know where to go to find it.

My plan is to buy a new computer very soon, I am looking for a short term solution to my problem.  I'm on Windows 2000 Professional and I use Turbo tax to do my income taxes.  However, I cannot load program Turbo tax this year because it supports more Windows 2000.  My question: is there an upgrade online from Windows 2000 to XP still available?  Or, is there another upgrade online (directly to Vista or Windows 7) that I could use to get my taxes done.  The long-term solution will come in a few weeks when I buy my new thing.  Thank you

A quick glance on the Toshiba Web site seems to indicate that there is no Windows 7 drivers for your laptop, but you can download and run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor to double check.  If your laptop can support Windows 7, you can buy and install a version of it.  If you are about to buy a new computer, however, I wouldn't consider this course of action to be economically reasonable.

Microsoft sells more than Windows XP or Vista.  Although you may be able to find CD's for these versions of Windows, they are likely to be expensive (Amazon), summary (eBay), or both.

Either wait to do your taxes until you get your new computer or have them online, as Carey suggested.

Currently, I have Photoshop CS5 with Adobe Bridge. The upgrade online for Photoshop CS6 includes upgrades to the bridge? I recently bought a camera Nikpn D810. The old version of the bridge does not recognize the D810 Camera Raw format. Thanks for any help.

New digital camera sometimes means an upgrade of the software, as in this case.

Camera Raw plugin | Supported devices

Applications of camera Raw compatible Adobe

First, the D810 is supported in camera Raw which is compatible with the CS6 and later versions 8.6.

    Options:

    1. Pay for upgrade to CS6
    2. Join the cloud to Adobe
    3. Download the free Adobe DNG converter, convert all the D810 Raw files to DNG, and then edit the DNG in CS5 helps Photoshop | Digital Negative (DNG)
  • Upgrade online characterset TimesTen8 to different characterset

I did successfully upgrade online from TT6.0 to TT11.2 using the TIMESTEN8 characters.  Once I have the two nodes running TT11.2 with characterset = TimesTen8, I try an upgrade online (-noCharSetConversion option) to an another characterset, namely US7ASCII.  After completing the ttMigrate outgoing/incoming as follows, the number of replication connections does not the number before the migration.  The companion node is always defined as TIMESTEN8

Err 07:43:02.08: REP: 6029: SYSTEMCONFIGURATION:receiver.c (14820): TT17017: the database character set differs from its counterpart

The character set can be changed during an upgrade online?   If not, is it possible to keep characterset = TIMESTEN8 settting?  What is the best characterset which is similar to the current TIMESTEN8?

    Thank you

    William

    Chris,

Thanks for your reply.  Is it a good idea for systems running continuously with the character set TIMESTEN8 to upgrade systems?  Or should we move to one of the other set of characters.  I try to avoid any downtime if possible.

Your system is infected with a rogue antivirus program. It's called "thugs" because he pretended to be a good guy but is really bad. Don't pay them!

Search for removal here Bleeping Computer how removal steps - of - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/forum55.html
or here - Malwarebytes malware removal Guide - http://tinyurl.com/5xrpft

Malwarebytes' Anti-malware (MBAM) or SuperAntiSpyware will often do the job. Both have free versions and you don't need to buy these programs.

You need to get all the programs/tools from a different computer, known to clean and put it on a Flash DRIVE or burn it to a CD - R to be used on the infected machine.

These can work for you, and all can be good. However, in many cases the computer will also infected with other horses of Trojan and protected by a rootkit. These machines are extremely difficult to clean.

If your machine is one of these cases, either get guided help to one of the following specialized forums OR backup your data and do a clean install of Windows. It's your choice. If you don't know how to back up your data or how to do a clean install, you can take your machine to a local computer professional. I do not recommend using BigComputerStore/GeekSquad types of places.

a lot of programs at startup. Can I get rid of some of them while my computer will start more quickly?

To identify what loads when you start using Autoruns (freeware from Microsoft).

    http://www.Microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/ProcessesAndThreads/Autoruns.mspx

With Autoruns, you can deselect an item which disables startup, or you can click with the right button on an item, then remove it. If you clear the check box that you can check back for re - activate the element. It is an approach much safer than editing the registry and better than using msconfig.

Another useful feature of the program is that you can click with the right button on an item and select search online to get information about the selected item.

I have Windows XP on my computer.  To remove a Trojan on my system, I tried to put my computer in safe mode.  After that, all that came was a white text on a black screen.  I waited for a while, but nothing else came.  So, I turned off the computer.  After turning it back on, the computer says "disk boot failure".  She also asked me to insert the disk system, but my computer never came with the Xp disc.  It was already loaded on my computer.  To compensate for this, I bought a Windows Vista upgrade disc, but is not let me load because it is an upgrade.  Please, help me.  I'm at my wit's end.  Also, I am very computer illiterate, so that all the instructions, please be as simple as possible.  Thank you.

I have CS3 and the CS6 upgrade on my PC and want to load on my laptop for travel.  I can?

Yes, you are allowed to have applications installed on both machines.  The restriction being that the applications can be used at the same time on both machines.

You don't need to install CS3 if you prefer do not.  You only need the serial number of this in order to get the active CS6.
