  We have a number of people who are accustomed to using SQL * Plus for Windows (Windows-specific SQL * more client that has been deleted, I believe in GR 11, 1 material) to do their work (mainly support), and there are a few things that don't miss if force us to use 'classic' SQL * more in one window BACK. SQL Developer is a replacement of logic, but one of the questions a team member has raised is that same SQL Dev gives you all the permissions that you wouldn't in SQL * Plus, it has make it very easy to, for example, expand the 'Packages' in the tree and watch and potentially "inadvertently" to make a change to the code.

Yes, I know that we can appropriate Oracle security to user to configure users such that they do not have permission on the particular objects, but I'm looking for something 'quick and dirty' at the moment. No real security, but something that makes it less likely that someone will make an involuntary change.

  You can "hide" the nodes using the preferences: filter database browser. It works at the level of the types of database objects. This is the level that you want to say or you want to hide from the nodes in a level of detail more?

  It is possible that you could change some things in the registry, but there are many other "clues" as something being a virtual machine, such as the presence of tools VM, MAC address, drivers, etc.

  Is it possible that I can easily hide data of users. For example, in the cube XYZ, we have the data loaded through the year 2005. Is there a way for me to keep the data in the cube; However, just hide 2005 so that when users go they see not the year 2005. I know that we can define filters and then apply 'none' on some members. But the downside with it's data to the next level comes as no access and it is only when users drill down will they be able to see the data. To remedy this, is possible to hide the data with that of otherwise quite normal?

  While in windowed mode is there a way to hide the menu bar on a crowd of Win7?  This menu bar is absolutely huge (about 2 x as large as it should be!) so I was wondering if it was possible to get rid of it?  I know it was possible in older versions, because I found some guides on how to do it.  These guides apply to Workstation 8.  I don't want to use the unit because it's too hard to keep the instances of BONE separate and organized in a meaningful way.

  If any VMware staff are reading this, I would recommend that VMware uses a menu bar of title as Firefox 8 on Windows 7.  With the little drop down menu built into the title bar of the window instead of a space hogging the menu bar stretched all the way in all top of the window.  Or at least implement a combination of keys in option show/hide the menu bar. Please?

  It's an interesting idea.  That particular path would have several reviews need to be really meaningful. To be really good at their jobs, data architects require a wide range of skills. The image below is a screenshot of a proposal from slideshare on the qualities required by a data architect and is the best example I could find.  The elements that it includes the themes (to a degree) in several existing reviews, but also several subjects not covered in any existing Oracle certification exam.  The DBA track, I would consider to be part of a potential architect data track (covering several topics "Data content" below).  The re-examination of the foundations of database covers most of the below data modeling section. In addition, reviews the performance of the database, security of database and Data Warehousing would be useful for an architect and are represented in many of the subjects in the image.

  I think that proof of the data architect might work as well as a 'bonus' credential to earn certifications for all exams/tracks mentioned above according to the new recently announced for MAA. Even better - the certifications above could be treated as pre-requisites and require additional specific data architect review to win certification expertise.

  The normal thing to do is to create a similar additional responsibility and using Exclusions to 'hide' the features you want.

  Then assign it to restricted users.

  I looked at the part where the masking has failed. He had the AwayJS FLA when converting to another file format. Or he had a bug in their custom in time file format.

  The SADF 2D masks WebGL always seems to be disabled. But I just bought the AwayJS add-on, and whatever the problem was in his demonstration, he seems to be fixed, masking works.
