  "Organize bookmarks" has been renamed to "show all bookmarks" in the bookmarks menu.

  I newly installed PSE14 and you have edited a dozen photos to experiment. I saved edits in version sets.  I don't see tabs for expansion to reveal original and change as I used to have using PSE8 when I go to the Organizer. Am I missing some subtle option?

  Use the shortcut Ctrl D to move in the new "Adaptive" view to the old "detailed view".

  (First OFF... Please do not read this as being written by an angry person.) I'm just frustrated with the browser that I liked for years. I hope someone can help me)
  For a long time, I had my Firefox (version 33.0.2 - even if I don't remember getting mentions "update") defined so that every time I clicked on the tab new symbol '+' to create a new tab (which has the "new tab Page" on that), the NINE inch nails would be shown for my SELECTION and PIN sites. I LOVED!
  Yesterday, I opened Firefox and NOW when I click on the '+' to open the new tab Page... FIFTEEN thumbnails appear, 5wide x 3down, (and to be honest I probably would have the habit of 15! ha).
  Here's the PROBLEM: NONE of the thumbnails are "compressed". They ALL have "liberated" up yellow icon to the left and clicking on does nothing to remedy this of course. Other that THAT, everything else behaves normally. (that is to say moving the thumbnails, deleting, swap... I just can't pin THEM!)
  FINALLY, I prefer my 9-repositionable decals on the new tab Page.
  I went through ALL the options on the side, upside down and backwards, and I just get more frustrated.
  Can someone help me?

  If you can see all your tiles, you can change your settings in settings page:

  1. In the address bar, type Subject: config and press enter. The subject: config "this might void your warranty!" warning page may appear.
  2. Click on I'll be careful, I promise! to keep the comments: config page.
  3. Search for browser.newtabpage.columns and change it to 3, or however many columns you like
     • Note: browser.newtabpage.rows allows you to change the number of desired lines as well

  The popular tab is on the same line as the Bookmarks tab.

  You can change or remove the folders in the bookmarks toolbar. For example, you can click the right-click (or Mac equivalent) to access properties or remove.

  To move the items, it is probably easier to use the dialog library, also known under the name the bookmarks Organizer.

  Bookmarks > show all bookmarks

  Here you can move items between the bookmarks toolbar and main menu of bookmarks.

• In Photos app in the Photos tab is there a way I can tell if a photograph belongs to an event/album?

  In iPhoto, I used to organize all my photos in events no matter the date, even if the events were generally in chronological order. I scroll all photos they would be under the individual headings so I can see what events they belonged to or where I had chosen to store

  In the Photos, they are organized as the iPhone done with collections that are organized by date, and I can see is no longer what event/album to which they belong, although I can see individual albums in the Album tab.

  Basically I have about 12 000 photos I want to synchronize a select few events/albums to my phone at any time and for that I want to ensure that each of these 12 000 photos are in an album that is appropriate for me to choose.

  Since I migrated to Photos and stopped using iphoto I have now about 2000 photos that are not in an event/album but I want to organize in this way. How can I know if a photo belongs to an album without having to IgE in the album itself?

  I don't know if this makes sense, but hope someone can help me find an easy way to include Photos that I usually find much easier to use and organize iphoto. I know that I can go back to iPhoto, but since I stopped using it a year ago, I'm now totally out of sync.

  What you can find is that photos are not in any album - menu file == > new smart album with the albums criteria is not all - this will show all the photos that are not in any album

• Why is the first tab in a window now hidden! ???

  Using Firefox 7.0.1 w / Mac OS 10.6.8 for awhile now, but suddenly I noticed that the first tab in a window becomes hidden. Then on the tab bar, I have only the + add-a-tab tab, then the 2nd added tab and beyond. I can only decipher which is the first tab by clicking on the arrow down very far to the right of the tab bar and there it is. But if I click on it, all I get is the window but still NO tab.

  This becomes critical when I am trying to organize the transfer of tabs in a different window to free up space in the first window. Now, it is simply impossible because there is no tab to enter and drag in a another window is not!

  If all goes well, there is a simple solution, but I wasn't able to find an answer yet by googleing. Thank you.

  Close tab (Cmd + W) and the restoration of the tab (Shift + Cmd + T) solves this problem for me.

  You can disable it. If your mobile phone does not support the multimedia buttons then this tool is useless.

  I don't know what would make this process, but you can disable this in msconfig-> tab start Mr. If it would take in the future, then you could turn it on again.

  You want to organize your icons in folders, or put a shortcut of data on your home page folder?

  The first is easy, this last not so much.

  Just hold your finger on an icon, and then drag it on another similar icon.  A "folder" will be done with the name "unnamed file".  Press and hold the words to change the name of the folder.

  I'm not aware of a way to file a record of data on the homepage...

• Unidentified icon appeared in the Alt - Tab

  

  Referring to the picture above, the red/yellow/blue icon appeared in my 'Alt - Tab' profile.  Unlike any other icon in the list, it has no description when selected and has no obvious purpose.  Selection, it does nothing.  Everything is linked to does not appear on the Task Manager.  I have no idea why it appeared, or that she can relate to.  So I'm concerned.  Anyone can get an idea?

  This generic icon is usually a window off the screen (the operating system and programs use often, at some point, that you normally have hundreds of them out of sight, tasks and working with the system).  The first thing I would do is just reboot and see if it comes back.

  If she comes back, you can identify it by opening the program MSCONFIG and reseraching the "Startup" tab to find the program that represents.
