• I can't disconnect access to another computer on my network.

So, I went downtown network and sharing of control panel and found that wireless. He asked me to enter the user name and password.   The Windows boot splash screen appears and then I get the above message on a BACK screen when I start my laptop.  I am running Windows 7 64 bit... it does not recognize when I try to ignore it and it freezes.  I tried hard to stop and start again without luck to get past this screen.

  Let the system run the disk check. Will take some time, but let it run.

  In general, it is safe to do so - just a person granting access to your network will not give them access to your files on your computer unless you are already sharing files with another computer on your network.  In this case, you want to check your sharing settings to make sure that the shared files are not available for all users of the network.  The thing I'd be worried, is whether or not the person you share with is "don't own"-no virus, malware, etc. on their computer, given that some of these programs can spread via a shared network connection.

  Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Community Forums.

  Here are the tips on how to temporarily remove entries of update:

  Go to start menu > all programs > Accessories. Right-click on "command prompt" and select "run as Administrator".

  Copy / paste the command below:

  net stop wuauserv

  And select OK.

  Wait for confirmation that the service is stopped.

  To remove the file, copy the following command at the command prompt:

  del %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore\Logs\edb.log

  Alternatively, you can remove it manually by going to the location in windows Explorer.

  You can restart the service with this command:

  net start wuauserv

  Note: updates will not be uninstalled but only entries will be taken.

  With most of their applications, you can disable it on a single computer, and then turn on another.  I'm not 100% sure of Lightroom, however.

  The backup to iCloud for an iPad does not include items that are already in iCloud, your iCloud stream library and my photos are not included in the backup to iCloud.
